Dear God, what kind of party would possibly be blaring "Body Talk" by Ratt at 11pm on a Tuesday night??

I have never been to a party here, but I have to say that living a few doors down from the Elks Lodge is not the best locale when some wedding/assclown/hooplah party decides to invade the space and carry on like it's Row Week at the Phi Beta Suck house.

The only good that seems to come out of this space is the Halloween Haunted House for kids and adults they put on every year, but I swear by Satan and his minions, by Week 2 of constant intermittent screams and barbaric yawps, I was ready to don an evil clown mask, run over there and murder all the drunken screaming bee-yatches myself.

If I am ever invited to a party at the Elks Lodge, I am going to bring my own soundtrack of thought-provoking emo music and tell everyone to use their six-inch voices or I will topple them over the side of the large balcony.

And if it is simply a formal meeting of the Elks Lodge members, then...fuck. Maybe I'll cast my lot in for membership if we get to hear some Ratt during House Committee sessions.

DUDE!!!! The Dim Mak party is going on right now at the Elk's Lodge. I am listening to The Whip (electronica band from Manchester, UK - they are damn good) FROM MY PATIO. This review just earned an extra star.

I might have to reassess my beliefs about the cosmos, giant balls of twine and live music at the Elk's Lodge. Wow. Because for every Ratt, there's apparently a Whip.
