    Faaaaaaaabulous spa!

I love spas and definitely wish I could be relaxing in one every day but I can't have that luxury so when I get some spa time, I try to soak in every single second of it.

I got a spa package as a gift for this location and do not have a single complaint - well one, it went by too fast!! When you check in, they escort you to the locker room and show you around so you are familiar with the spa. After you change, there is a quiet relaxation area with comfy chairs, blankets, ottomans and magazines. I'm seriously considering about purchasing the chair/ottoman combo in there, it was so comfortable!

Sheryl was my masseuse for a 50 minute Swedish massage and she did an excellent job. She made sure that the pressure was right and focused on areas I said were more tense than others. She made some lotion recommendations but didn't push me to buy it the way some places do.

The girl who gave me my makeup refresher was super sweet and fun - I let her run with it an do whatever she wanted and it turned out great - I'll never get a smoky eye like that again but hey, it was fun for the day!

They don't rush you out either, you can hang out in the spa as long as you like after your treatment so it's nice to just veg out and not feel rushed.

I felt terrible at the end when I was leaving the makeup girl a tip in the envelope and the receptionist made a comment about how excited she will be because no one ever tips on the complimentary makeup refresher. Really?!?!? I mean come on, she still worked even if it was a free service, the girl deserves a tip!!

I can't wait to come back to this spa - it was fantastic and I have an appointment at a Red Door Spa in the city at the end of this month so hopefully that experience is just as wonderful.

The best hot stone message I've had! I am in heaven!

This spa is located in the Marriott Mystic Hotel. The mister and I stayed at the hotel during the Christmas holiday. The mister wanted to treat me for spa time and I was for it! Also, it was a treat for my birthday. The spa has a little retail store on site. From the outside and the lobby of the hotel, the spa is quite hidden. But once you are inside the spa, it is a big part of the hotel. Facilities include the gym, pool, steam room, and a hair salon on site.

There is a front desk for checking in. They escort you to the locker rooms, which has the steam room, showers, dressing rooms, and all the bath products you need. After changing into your robe and slippers, you go into the lounge room that includes a kitchen for refreshments and snacks. As a first timer here, you will fill out a form about your medical conditions. The facilities here are quite lovely and well maintained.

My hot stone message was so amazing! My massage therapist was excellent. When a hot stone first touch my skin, it first felt like a tiny tingling but the warmness of the stone just melts on your skin. OMG, the hot stones are used to massage your back, legs and arms. It is the best! The only downside is when the massage ends. After wards, I hung out in the lounge reading magazines and relaxed in the steam room.

If you stay at this hotel, definitely booked some spa time. It is pricey, but worth every penny. Over the Christmas break, this spa was busy with alot of women in robes. They had the same story as me, their misters were treating them to spa time. I don't blame them, we can all use spa time during the holidays. I will visit this spa again!

My husband and I went to the spa because I was in a wedding. I had my hair done by Gianna, who did an AMAZING job. I got so many compliments on my up do (which she recreated exactly based on pics I provided). I also had my eyebrows and makeup done there, both of which were outstanding. My husband had a facial and a peel, and he really enjoyed both of them. Nothing but good things to say about this place & Gianna!
