In the downtown district of the sleepy little town of Toluca Lake you'll find Elisabeth Albert tucked in among many shops. Blink and you might miss it but the one thing that gives this awesome store away is the hint of color and purses indicative of the owner Susan Kim's style.
As you walk in you'll find beautiful clothes well suited from work to play that have a fresh look that you really wont find in other stores. Prices can run anywhere from very reasonable to somewhat expensive but well, well worth it for designer, hip items that are classic and definitely cool.
As you look around you wont see lots of stuff cluttering the walls to detract from the clothes. The owner's sense of style speaks for itself. Beautiful purses line the walls. Fabulous one of a kind blouses, one after another, each unique and lots of belts etc. Oh, and really nice hand made jewelry. .
If you have the privilege of meeting the owner Susan, she will be happy to give you her opinion of what looks great on you. I could buy everything in there and be happy. Most all of it is for the sophisticate at heart.
Well, I'm not going to say anything else. Just go.

I don't frequent theToluca Lake area very often, but I drove by and saw the window display of this shop. They have a good selection of clothing in a variety of styles for women in their 20s - 40's. I picked up several dresses here and have received many compliments. I hope this shop stays open, so visit and keep the small business alive!
Next door to Lucy's Restaurant corner of Forman and Riverside in Toluca Lake Village area you will find a great clothing store for those parties or events that you need to find a nice outfit in a hurry. Susan and her puppies are so adorable. Love her!
