I had to write and add this salon to take note of it here on Yelp -- I had the most terrible experience and I hope you will all save your money and steer clear of here!

I was new to the area and looked up local salons and found this little salon in Lake Oswego.  I called and made an appointment and the receptionist was very pleasant and gave me many details about the salon.  She had an opening with a lady named Mary, and I also wanted a facial so she booked with Ann, their esthetician.

I arrived and was shocked by how tiny and crowded the salon was.  Not even really a salon, it felt more like a small closet with 10-12 women packed into it.  It was very loud and rather stuffy.  The receptionist greeted me and was very nice about getting me something to drink and offering me some magazines since I was early.  I met Ann, and I was first of all distressed by her attitude and clothes!  She is a 40-ish year old asian woman, but was dressed like a teenager in a mini-skirt, a very low cut corset top and 5 inch heels!  Also her skin looked very bad, and didn't give me a good feeling since I was coming to her to have my skin treated.  She seemed very put off that I was early and told me curtly I'd have to wait while she set up her room.  The whole experience with her was terrible.  The facial was rough and rushed, (I don't know why?) and she kept talking about herself the whole time, and kept trying to upsell me product that supposedly made her face so great!  Ack!

I was relieved to be done there, and vowing never to do that again, when I came out and proceeded to have my hair done with the lady named Mary.  Although she smiled, I really didn't feel like her smile was in her eyes, if you know what I mean.  I felt like she didn't really care, and when she (must have) thought I wasn't looking, she made a crude face to the hairstylist next to her!  I have no idea what that was about but I was feeling more and more uncomfortable by the minute.

I said I wanted my hair to have some lowlights added to it, and we talked about colors.  I kept stressing that I didn't want too much done to it and that I still wanted my hair to be light colored overall.  Folks, she dyed my hair brunette.  I am not kidding you.  She did a weave through my hair with way too much brown and I came out looking like I was a brunette with a few blond streaks, instead of a blond with some brown lowlights.  Mary trimmed some layers in the back, and when I looked at them they were all choppy and uneven and I nearly had a fit!  She just kept saying it would look better when I got home (what???) and proceeded to bill me for $145!  For THAT?  I was so upset, and when I tried to tell her, she just said, "sorry, it came out much darker than I thought" and she actually SNICKERED!  I'm sorry, I don't usually get so loud in my posts, but I could not believe the attitude of this woman.  It was like she was glad to ruin my hair!

All I'm saying is that it was a fiasco from start to finish, and I would hope that you all steer far far far away from this salon!  Watching the other ladies work, I didn't see much else that was any better, so I believe it's just a rather low class place.  Dont' waste your money there on overpriced terrible services!!

UPDATE:

I wanted to say - my hair is fixed!!!  A friend recommended me to a salon near Barbar Blvd, called ViseVie Salon.  The lady named Markie did wonders to my hair and now it is so beautiful and healthy again!!!  I'm so happy, PLUS she only charged me $100 for everything!  Go to ViseVie and ask for Markie, she's the best!!
