Sad to read that Elements closed.   Best restaurant experience ever in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis restaurant scene sorely needs more restaurants like this that are unique and locally owned.

Unfortunately Indy can't/won't support a high-end restaurant that isn't part of a chain or a steakhouse.

Best wishes to the Elements crew wherever they are.

    :(.

I'm really sad that the Indianapolis community just didn't get this restaurant.

I went to Elements twice with my wife, and each time we had meals that we talk about to this day. I've eaten a lot of food in a lot of places, but I can honestly say that the best hunk of pig I ever had the joy of eating was at Elements.

I really want to know what the chef is doing now.

I agree with some of the comments listed here. I don't understand the excitement about the establishment, the food is not exceptional which is especially inappropriate for the price. In addition, for a place such as this to have no listed vegetarian options is ridiculous (except two salads). I inquired about vegetarian options and was informed that they would prepare something for me. What those things were: 1)  a vegetable soup with mushroom broth that you find out has beef stock in it?!?! ; 2) Then a vegetable stir fry that is basically stir fry lettuce and cabbage with warm oil on it as the entree with a raman noodle side is insulting.

My date had five slivers of pork loin to add, slivers?!?! All for $70 is bad business. The service was decent, besides the poor vegetarian send-offs and the desert was not bad but fails to change my opinion of a place I was actually wanting to visit for again.

Our neighborhood association went to Elements as part of Indy Restaurant week.  It was amazing.  The service is wonderful.  The food is truly gourmet.  I love it!

This is a restaurant doing among the top of the game food for Indianapolis, and for Indianapolis it's fine, but it couldn't compete in a place like Chicago or any other major city.  And I'm not saying that to be elitist, I'm certainly not- the food is good, but not great at this price point.  Our service was relatively bad for the price point of this restaurant in its setting.  It's a restaurant I'd like to succeed, but the kitchen is really going to have to ratchet it up and the staff is going to have to become more attentive.

This restaurant has so much potential. The chef was gracious enough to prepare a vegetarian entree, a risotto to be exact. It was amazing, especially for Indiana. The ambiance is perfect, the staff was well informed and willing to work with my particular palette. The one thing that forces this restaurant to fall short of 4, is the wine list. Whom ever does the buying is stuck in a rut. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but the wine list (dessert and meal) should compliment.

The food was good but the menu was small.  There were only a handful of starters and entrees available. None of the main dishes were vegetarian, although the kitchen was able to accomodate a request for a vegeterian dish.

Yelp says the attire is "dressy", but the restaurant says it's ok to wear jeans.  We called them to ask!

It was hard to get a reservation here for our group - we'd been trying for several months before we finally got a spot late on a midweek evening in January.  The restaurant is surprisingly small.

Great modern urban atmosphere. Friendly staff and great location off of Mass Ave. Has a romantic outside patio that overlooks the park and Mass Ave. Great place to visit before going to a show or after shopping.

I really don't understand the excitement this restaurant generates. Maybe if the prices were lower. Or the portions bigger. This is the first place I've ever asked for more bread just so I could leave full. The scallop appetizer was very tasty and indeed unique. The salmon was nothing special - and very small. Service was very good - but it isn't the service that would bring me back to a restaurant.

This restaurant is one of the two best restaurants in town.  The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is casual and very modern.  Wine list is excellent - it could compete with places in New York and Los Angeles any time.  The service is also friendly and crisp.  You can linger or not, as you wish.   One of my very favorite restaurants
