We came for a napa girls weekend. Bob our driver, made the weekend. He picked us up at The Meritage. We had a set agenda of where we wanted to go but Bob was very knowledgeable. We did the 6 hour limo for $299, but I think we ended up having it for close to 7 hours at no extra charge. Bob looked out for us the entire day. Reminded the girls to eat, drink water and took pictures of us at every place we wanted to stop. He even recommended some of his own unique photo spots.
At the end of the day he took us back to our hotel, we were a little tipsy. Hours we later got a from the front desk saying that our limo driver was here. One of the girls had left her camera in the limo and he drove all the way back to our hotel to drop it off. He only knew our first names, so he explained us to the hotel until they found us. The service when booking and making the reservation was good as well. We can't wait to use Bob and this service again! -

We took a private town car with myself and 2 other girlfriends... And with this company we did Napa right! 5 wineries later, and a quick trip back to the hotel to drop off our booty, we landed at Reynolds families winery for a fantastic party! Debbie our driver took fantastic care of us! I will definitely use this company again for my next wine tour!! Everything was precise and professional!

This was my first time booking a limo party bus and as spazztic as I am the process was easy and the entire day went great! I was working with Justin who totally came through for me, assured me of the bus I was getting, the price etc. so I never felt scammed or anything. I did A LOT of research and Elegant Tours was by far the best deal.
I got the 18 passenger excursion bus and Phil arrived early, (I was late to my own party!) and was so sweet and patient while we loaded up all the food and alcohol. I told him where I wanted to go and our time lines and he was all set.
We did three wineries in Sonoma and Phil would even call ahead when we left one to alert the next...it was great I didnt have to worry about a thing! Also, when we drunkenly decided we wanted to add two extra hours on (9 hours total!) so we could go to downtown Sonoma bars, Phil happily obliged and took us downtown..Im sure Sonoma itself was not to happy about that, but oh well!
Also, when we got back to SF Phil made one stop on Polk for a bunch of my friends to get out and then brought me and the rest of my gang straight to my door in Lower Haight. Even BETTER....my sister left her sunglasses in the car and the next week Phil brought them to me at my work in FiDi when he had some extra time. Talk about caring for your customers!
I would definitely recommend Elegant Tours! -

I really wish Yelp let me put 0 stars. My friends surprised me and bought a limo for 10 of us to go to Napa.
When the driver picked us up we soon found out that the driver was FROM ANOTHER COMPANY and not even the one we booked with. He was a horrible driver. Whenever he dropped us off somewhere it took him at least 5-10 minutes to come back around to pick us up and when you only have a limo for a few hours those 10 minutes add up quickly. The sunroof was broken and he made no effort to go in fast lanes or anything on our way back. It honestly seemed like the driver was trying to be late so he could overcharge us which they did anyway. Even though we did everything according to the rules the driver lied about the extra time and said we were late...we were not late at all. They overcharged us and we're STILL trying to get our money back but to no avail. -

We picked Elegant Tours after reading positive Yelp reviews, but our experience just goes to show that past performance is no guarantee of future results.
In January our group reserved a Lincoln Navigator LIMO for a trip on March 5 for 11 people to go wine tasting. We were in contact with Justin via email on several occasions, even as recently as just 1 week prior. However, much to my surprise and dismay, on March 5 what picked us up was an EXECUTIVE VAN from ANOTHER COMPANY. At no point were we notified by phone or email that the car which we reserved would not be picking us up, or that another company would be picking us up or that said company would have none of the itinerary information we provided to Elegant Tours.
Upon our calling Elegant Tours and inquiring with Justin as to what the heck was going on we were unapologetically told that the Navigator had broken down and was in the shop and that he had the right to change the car and BLAH BLAH BLAH and so basically we would just have to deal with what we had or not go tasting. We asked Justin for an explanation as to why he didn't bother to at least email or call and tell us about these changes and guess what? He didn't have one. Perhaps he'll post an answer here.
So there we were left to negotiate our own new rate with the new company and provide him with a new itinerary. Luckily our amazing friends went with the flow, our driver was great (Dana at Affordable Luxury Tours) and we had a wonderful tasting experience.Comment from Justin S. of Elegant Tours 3/8/2011

I just want to add, I received NUMEROUS calls from a private caller asking for Jill, who was our driver. The person left creepy messages saying, "Please don't do this, please..."
First of all, I did not appreciate receiving incessant phone calls from an unidentified person from Napa calling for someone that was clearly not me on a VERY busy day.
Secondly, the messages were creepy. I told the person to stop calling me and that he had the wrong number, but it didn't stop. In fact, he said I was lying.
Third, I DO NOT WANT MY NUMBER BEING CIRCULATED IN ELEGANT WINE TOURS. I left my phone number on a signed paper and the driver definitely had my number. I don't know how random people got my number, but this is definitely the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company ever.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Initially, everything seemed okay by choosing this company. I Contacted the owner, Justin by phone to place a reservation for the $299 internet special, which advertised six hours in a six-person limo. I planned this trip ahead of time to include a list of wineries we definitely wanted to visit, in addition to some other ones if there was enough time. I emailed him this itinerary and he responded, saying that these were good.
We, a group of four, showed up in the morning at Napa, arriving at our hotel, Chablis Inn, to be picked up by the limo, as per arrangements I made with Justin. I had also sent Justin this part of the itinerary ahead of time for approval, and he again had stated this was not a problem. He told us the limo would pick us up at 10:00 am sharp. We were there at 9:30 am. We waited, and waited, and waited. I called at 10:05, 1010, 1015 and so on, using the Elegant Tours number and nobody answered. Finally, someone, whom I assumed was the driver, called me back at approximately 10:20 from the Elegant Tours number, asking if I called there. I told him (The caller was Justin, I later found out.) that we were waiting since 10 am, where is the limo/driver? He said, they should have been there by now and that he would find out what was wrong. He called me back 5 minutes later, apologizing because the driver was sick and didn't call in sick; now he's got to get a new driver to get us, and it would take another 30-45 minutes. He then promised us we would get an hour free...
This, for me, was a rocky start that only got worse. The limo arrived around 1130-45. The replacement driver (who turned out to be pretty cool) showed up with this annoying (probably a supervisor) lady, who came to apologize in person for being so late. He took us to the definite winery places on our list and even suggested another good place, Rubicon. Because of the late start, we only got to visit Sterling, V. Sattui (for lunch), Robert Mondavi, Rubicon, and, for only a little bit, Chandon. Chandon was already closing and they didn't have any wine tasting open. We would have been there before closing, had the original driver been on time. Grr! They took us back to our hotel, and gave me the bill. I find out on this bill that they didn't even give me the free hour!
I called them the next morning to ask about the charges. Justin justified the bill with this reason: because we ended up using the full 6 hours, we were not entitled to get an hour free. But, the limo was an hour, and then some, late! Although the replacement driver was cool and friendly, the supervisor lady made the majority of our interactions with him, and the ride overall, very awkward.
I wouldn't go with this tour company again because of this experience. I know I'm coming back to Napa Valley. I had a better experience using the Napa Winery Shuttle, even if it was a shared public tour, due to the tardiness of the limo, despite its being a private tour.Comment from Justin S. of Elegant Tours 3/18/2011

Let me start by saying that we haven't actually had the pleasure of a tour from this company -- but, if their customer service is any indication of the tours, then I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Through a series of misunderstandings with our hotel in Napa, Elegant Tours found itself caught in the middle of a credit card debacle. The hotel had authorized them to charge our card for a tour despite our not authorizing the hotel to do so. We were simply inquiring about possibilities -- not booking!
Justin at Elegant Tours worked tirelessly with us to amend the situation with our credit card company, even though the error was not their doing and even though it took *forever* to resolve. He was amazing and patient -- which you really need to be in order to get anything accomplished with credit card companies.
We wouldn't hesitate to use Elegant Tours the next time we're in Napa...and, in fact, that's exactly what we're planning to do. They offer customized wine tours that sound absolutely to die for! It's the perfect intersection of an amazing wine tasting experience, reasonable pricing and no threat of drunk driving!
We can't wait for the next time we're in Napa and have time to actually utilize their services. Thanks SO much Justin! You rock! -

I would give Elegant Tours 10 STARS if I could. I had been talking to Justin for over a month in order to surprise my wife for her bday. Justin set up 10 of us for a full day of worry less wine tasting through out Napa Valley. I gave him a couple of names of wineries I wanted to go to and he did the rest with his crew.
Our driver Phil was the best we could ask for. He showed up on time and helped me get everyone into the limo in order to surprise my wife.(She had no clue there was a limo outside the house waiting to take us to Napa). Elegant tour came to pick us up from HAYWARD, I was amazed at their customer service. There was no extra/hidden charges!!
We partied all the way up to Napa, hit up 2 wineries, got lunch, had a picnic at one of the wineries, went to our 4th winery where Phil helped us save more money by giving us a mini tour of the winery!
The best part was no one had to drive! What else do you want, they picked us up from our house and dropped us off at the end of the day!
I would book with Elegant Tours in a drop of a dime! Thanks again Justin, Phil & the rest of the staff from Elegant Tours!!

Right from iInteracting with this company for the first time to the service we got from our driver were 5 stars worthy. We are from Boston and got excellent service and quotes from Justin on the phone.
We rented a town car for one day and a stretch limo for the next day with different pickup and dropoff points the both days. All of our requests were met with ease and without any trouble.
Our driver Robert was PHENOMENAL and he knew all the inside spots in both Sonoma and Napa. He had experience working in a number of wineries in both the areas and took us to all the "hidden" gems and the best wineries around! Memorial day weekend, in the words of a winery, "the single most busiest weekend in the valley" and yet with a stretch limo, Robert was able to take us to the non touristy non commercial, the most pristine, beautiful and best tasting wineries on both days.
Would rent again in a heartbeat. Great job guys. -

We had a wonderful experience with Elegant Tours. Justin was great to work with. Our plans kept changing and he was very accommodating. I also found Elegant Tours to be very competitively priced. The SUV Limo and our driver Phil were both great! Next time I need a driver in the Napa area, I will contact Elegant Tours, 100%.

I've used Elegant Tours once, and it was such a pleasant and hassle-free experience that I just booked with them again for an upcoming event. It seems to be a smaller operation, which is great because you get right through to Justin, the owner, when you call, and he provides friendly, personal service.
I have had some negative experiences with limo companies in the past, and I think that this is one area where you truly get what you pay for. Elegant does not run the amazingly cheap specials that some of the larger companies do, but the high level of service reflects that. They really know their way around Napa and don't pressure you to adopt the itinerary they want (which happens pretty often with some companies that get kickbacks from the larger wineries for bringing groups in).
That said, Justin was able to be really competitive on the price for my upcoming event, so given the excellent level of service on top of that, I am very happy! -

I went wine tasting with group of 10 for my birthday and we decided to take advantage of their internet special- only $299 for a 10 passenger for 6 hours. While the price was cheap, the service was definitely not lacking. We were greeted with our friendly driver and enough champagne to go around for everyone. We didn't have any sort of a plan as to were we wanted to go, except that we wanted to explore Sonoma. When we were picked up, we told the driver what kind of wines we liked and how much we wanted to spend, and in return the driver proved to be very knowledgeable about the area and each of the wineries. He was much like our own personal tour guide, offered us lots of different recommendations, and helped us to customize our tour. Pointed out many interesting facts about the region throughout the tour as well and called the wineries before we arrived so they would be expecting us.
Great price and excellent service! Thanks Elegant tours for a fabulous day of wine tasting!
