Review from Hamed M.
before trying electrolysis at electroyogi, i tried laser. after a few sessions of laser, i felt like i was wasting my time and money because i wasn't seeing any difference. at electroyogi, though, i noticed a difference after the first couple sessions. now, having gone to electroyogi approaching a year, i can't imagine why i didn't do this earlier. it's super effective.
to top it off, nicole is one of the kindest and most welcoming individuals you'll meet. your session will pass by in a flash because of free flowing conversation, the music, and the serene atmosphere. -

Never again will I attempt electrolysis nor recommend it. I threw down so much cash at this place. I dealt with the pain fine, the stylish little casa was fun, and Nicole was very enjoyable. I was a good little customer consistently returning for treatments. But after months of ongoing treatment, my hair was not showing progress. I'm asian and don't have much hair to remove to begin with. Now half a year later, the difference has yet to show itself. My one request was to have my upper-lip bare and what I ended up with was burn spots and stubs that continue to grow.
My current esthetician recently explained to me that electrolysis is mainly for blonde and red hairs and laser is a better tool for brown and black hairs because of the nature of light. Light reflects off light colors just like the sun/heat bounces off white clothes and is absorbed into dark colors. I would have been very appreciative to know this tidbit prior to throwing down hundreds at this place so I hope it does someone else good...Comment from Nicole P. of ElectroYogi 9/28/2011

I found ElectroYogi via Yelp, and while some people are skeptical of the residential setting, I have found their facility to be nothing but professional, hygienic and very soothing (considering what you're undergoing).
I absolutely adore Mary! She is the biggest sweetheart and is bursting with humor and positivity. Time flies by and you can barely feel any pain as she makes quick work of you and your unwanted hair, all while chatting with you and making you laugh.
My hair is disappearing permanently in good time, and heals quickly and nicely with minimal discomfort. I'm beyond thrilled with my experiences at ElectroYogi and with Mary. It is absolutely worth the time and the money I've invested and I'm happy I will never have to waste money on painful waxing again. -

The excellent reviews are spot on & there isn't much I can add that hasn't been said. Nicole is terrific as a person and as a practitioner. I am fair skinned and fair haired so I never thought about hair removal till I hit my mid-40s and unwanted facial hair started showing up (peri-menopausal stuff). Tweezing was driving me mad (apart from giving me ingrown hairs and occasional infections) and other methods didn't seem permanent enough for me.
Nicole was wonderful, honest, fair, smart and a delight. She has great energy and got me to put down tweezers. I didn't find it hurt much at all but I guess everyone's pain tolerance is different.
For those of us who are experiencing hair growth in new areas and are new to hair removal, this is the place to go. The location is private, very clean and relaxing.
Parking is easy and free as well. I found the prices to be very fair and reasonable. -

Having thick hair can be great - I'm forever getting compliments on my long hair and arched brows - but if it's anywhere but those two places, it's a time-consuming, painful, and generally annoying problem. So after being very displeased with my results from lasering, I found ElectroYogi on Yelp and decided to pay Nicole a visit.
I had my first session/consultation yesterday. Yes, this is run out of a home, but Nicole's home is absolutely lovely (she has excellent taste!) and she has a special room just for her electrolysis clients. It's very clean and it smells wonderful. There was some brief paperwork, and after, Nicole thoroughly explained the process of electrolysis to me and why it works. She's very knowledgable in her field and definitely put me at ease, even though I was really nervous. After all, the method itself sounds like torture.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pain wasn't that bad - there was definitely a tweezing-esque sting, but nothing unbearable. Plus, I was that time of month for me and I'm notoriously sensitive to hair removal during it, but it really wasn't as bad as I was expecting! Nicole was very gentle and thorough in the process. It's time-consuming, because Nicole is painstakingly removing each individual hair and killing it forever, but I'm sure the results will be well worth it.
Afterwards, I was red and swollen, but Nicole reassured me it would go down in about an hour. It did - today I look like I had nothing done but a nice wax or shave! Although it's too soon to tell whether electrolysis will be the answer to my unwanted hair prayers, I definitely have faith in Nicole's abilities. I will update this review in a few months to let everyone know my results. For now, 5 glowing stars for ElectroYogi. -

I really love this place. I've been going for about a year and a half, and I see Robin. She's really friendly and fun to talk to, and I'm generally not the kind of person who finds it easy to talk to people during these kinds of procedures. When I first started going Robin would generally play some stuff off Pandora (she always asks what I want to listen to, since she has pretty wide-ranging tastes) and we'd chat a bit, but then we found out we both like a lot of the same podcasts so she plays podcasts a lot too, which is way cool. Robin seems very knowledgeable about all sorts of beauty and skin-related issues, and she's very intellectually curious (both about beauty and other stuff). She's a really cool person.
The results have been really good, and I've never had any burns/injuries/anything else. I don't think it's painful at all, but everyone varies. I used to get laser but it just thinned the hairs, so I switched and it's been way better. Keep in mind that it's just really difficult for some people to get rid of hair, and moreso in some areas; some people see results in a couple months but for others (like me) it can take over a year. It does work though if you're patient! Everyone is different, but based on my personal experience I am skeptical that there are people who benefit more from laser in the long-term.
Nicole recently remodeled the house the business is in, so that the electrolysis part is in I guess what you'd call the basement, but it just feels like another floor of the house; it's very bright and I love the colors she choose. There's some natural light that comes in from the outside since there is an outdoor entrance to the lower level; it's not entirely buried or anything, not at all. :-) It's also extremely clean, like you could probably eat off the floor, if, uh, you had to for some reason. -

I have been going to ElectroYogi since the beginning of this year, when they had their 20% off special on packages. I went to Nicole for her to permanently take away my underarm hair. Its is a longer journey as she told me it will take a year to a year and a half to permanently be hair free. I am loving the results thus far as I am over 50% hair free. I really enjoy going to Nicole, as she is a fun person to talk to, as she is diligently zapping each strand away. Currently, she just finished renovating her space and is expanding her business. I am looking forward to being hair free and it looks like I'm on my way!

I've been going to ElectroYogi now for two years and couldn't be happier with the results. Nicole (the owner) has successfully treated my once stubborn, unruly, fierce, tenacious, you-name-it, underarm hairs that are now thankfully a thing of the past.
I am Asian with thick darn brown/black hair. Before I found ElectroYogi, I used to shave, wax, and tweeze (not recommended...ever) my underarms. So as you can imagine, my underarm hairs were very upset with me, and would grow back with a vengeance. I had ingrowns like you wouldn't believe. I knew I needed a serious solution that would work; thankfully ElectroYogi came to my rescue.
I started out with 1-hour sessions every few weeks for about a year. I now go every 6-8 weeks or so for only 30 minutes for a clean-up. I experience hardly any underarm hair growth, and if I do, the hairs are thin and very cooperative. A quick shave every several weeks gets rid of these few hairs.
If you want a permanent hair-removal solution (not temporary, as laser can often be), I'd recommend ElectroYogi. Nicole, her staff, and her treatment center, are amazing.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Nicole is amazing (as is Robin) and I recommend ElectroYogi to as many people as will listen!
Nicole and I have known each other for years and I trust her implicitly. If you're considering getting rid of any unwanted hair - this is the place to go. It's comfortable, welcoming and sanitary. Nicole (and everyone at Electro Yogi) is amazing, fun, talented, educated and patient (is it me or does everyone have the lowest pain tolerance ever?).
Yes, it does kind of hurt, but what doesn't aside from shaving and even then if you knick yourself it can hurt!
Highly recommend Electro Yogi!!! -

I came to Nicole after a pretty satisfying experience with laser, and I'm more than thrilled. She does an excellent job (yes- it hurts), but she's fun to talk with and makes the time go by quickly. I've even got my mom going now, and she loves her too!
More importantly, she's working on my eyebrows, so I really have to believe in the person who happens to be forever sculpting them, right? I realized her worth after one particular session when she didn't zap quite as many hairs as I expected. She explained why, and i was immediately like "Yes, absolutely, let's do it your way!"
This is not a wax- they won't come back - so I truly appreciate her caution in regards to my brows!
I'm starting with just a few small areas for now, but I'm thinking the next few birthday/christmas presents to myself will likely be few more sessions at Electroyogi.
As for the location and cleanliness of the place- I have no complaints! Her place is clean and serene. No, it's not a clinical setting, but who cares?! It is absolutely an embodiment of Nicole's style and I'm fine with that. -

I love Nicole, seriously I love her! She provides everything a girl could want from a woman who repeatedly electrocutes you. What can I say, she wooed me with her botanical smells, cool music, sparkling personality, and follicle destroying skills.
Like some others, I had my doubts about going to someone's home, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This place is immaculate and very spa-like. She provides a perfectly clean, yummy smelling, serene torture-chamber, errr treatment room. Electroyogi is the picture of professionalism.
I started with Electroyogi about 6 months ago and have really noticed my results. The best part is I feel like Nicole is totally invested in the success of my treatment. -

I've been debating whether or not to post a review for ElectroYogi for quite some time now because of three main reasons:
1) I'm a guy
2) I'm a guy
3) I'm a guy
After contemplating this for some time though, I also realized for me to not post a review about ElectroYogi would be a huge disservice for the guys out there who are looking for hair removal options and are clueless about it. So, for those guys who are interested in the enigmatic hair removal process, read on. For the people who carry an abundance of stereotypes and flamethrowers in your cortexes for reviews just like this, give me your best shot.
Some backround before the formal review -
-I have never been to any other Electrologist or Laser Hair Removal Specialist before.
-I have also never waxed before because the thought of pulling out multiple pieces of hair strands with a bandage full of crazy glue doesn't sit too well with me.
-I was interested in removing my chest hair and fortunately the amount of hair I had was minimal so it worked out perfectly.
So, why do guys want hair taken off to begin with? Back in the 80's, it was considered acceptable for a guy to wear a rug on his chest like Tom Selleck did in Magnum PI. The many James Bonds we've seen so far also rocked pectoral sweaters except for the most recent Bond, Daniel Craig. Nowadays, it seems the concept of "less is more" has gained popularity in the hair domain for both sexes.
As for why I chose to remove my chest hair, it was because I like working out and having no hair would show muscle definition better. That is also the reason why some guys clear the hair off their legs. Whatever your reason may be though, if you're a typical guy like me, you probably don't know where to start.
I had a myriad of questions about how to permanently remove hair. Even my girlfriend couldn't truly separate fact from fiction when it came to Electrolysis versus Laser Hair Removal. She tweezes and waxes everywhere. (Her follicles in Brazil scram and run in fright whenever they see her approach.)
I did my due diligence online and the basic gist I uncovered was that laser hair removal is not necessarily permanent. It permanently REDUCES hair but it doesn't necessarily permanently REMOVE hair. I thought it was ridiculous to spend all that money on a process only to have no real guarantee! I wanted to confirm my findings with a specialist so I scoured Yelp and Google for some specialists. I fortuitously found Nicole through Yelp and after she answered the many questions I shot her way via email, I decided to meet with her face to face for a free consultation.
Upon meeting Nicole, she was genuine and very welcoming. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She wanted to make sure I received accurate information so she took the time to describe the whole electrolysis process and how it differed from other methods of hair removal. (Waxing and plucking for all you ladies out there actually is the catalyst for more hair growth FYI.)
Nicole was brutally honest with me from the get go because she wanted to manage my expectations. She told me for some people with more hair, it might be more cost and time efficient to have laser hair removal done first to reduce the volume of undesired hair and then undergo electrolysis after that to remove the remaining traces of hair! It's rare to find a business in this day and age that promotes the direct competition to it's clients! Honesty is the obvious recurrent theme here.
After my free consultation, Nicole encouraged me to take some time to think about everything we discussed before I made a final decision. She even thought it was best to contact other places. In hindsight, I think she said this because she was confident the other places wouldn't match up to her service and professionalism. I didn't even remotely consider contacting another specialist after I met with Nicole though.
I agreed to start the same day as my consultation. Nicole was able to give me a small discount because I paid for ten sessions up-front but even if there were no discounts involved, I would still pay for her services without any reservations whatsoever.
Nicole's office in Eagle Rock is quaint, cozy, relaxing, and mostly importantly to me, clean. I believe cleanliness is next to godliness and Nicole could very well be one of the Disciples. Time flies by quickly each session and Nicole being a great conversationalist that she is who has led a colorful life doesn't hurt my time with her either.
In summary, for all the guys out there who have questions about hair removal for any body part, I highly recommend contacting Nicole for a free consultation. For all the ladies out there who are chronic waxers and pluckers or for those who have experienced unsatisfactory laser treatments, you too should seriously consider talking to Nicole because in the end, you'll be saving lots of time and money. -

Absolutely Amazing!
I would leave you with that but obviously you probably want a little more information. After considering a lifetime of waxing and tweezing I was terribly dismayed that laser hair removal would not work as effectively on someone of my skin complexion. In addition there were too many other risky variables such as scarring, possible pigmentation issues on my brown skin, and permament hair removal is not guaranteed! Let this be a disclaimer that I am not anti-laser, I am pro anything that works efficiently, and in my case electrolysis is the most effective method for me and my needs.
Somehow I ventured onto yelp reviews for ElectroYogi and found Nicole! I've been a client since early 2008 and we've worked on facial hair, tummy, and now the bikini line. I hope to one day brave the Brazilian but I'm taking baby steps!
Now its electrolysis people, it's not the most pleasant feeling to be zapped, however I was able to doze off in the studio which is a great testament to how gentle Nicole is and how any discomfort is minimized during the process!
What's great about Nicole is that she will set up a treatment plan with you, and as you progress you can add other body parts. It really is a great investment and it's the best option in the long run in terms of cost effectiveness and achieving permanent hair removal. If you're on the fence, just treat yourself to one appointment with Nicole and you'll be hooked! -
Review from Claire H.
My combination of uber-sensitive skin and coarse hair makes for a warzone in certain areas. It is getting to a point where I can't shave my armpits without breaking out in a rash of bumps and ingrown hairs that last up to a week. I've had it!
I've tried waxing... it's great for some things.
I tried laser... it was really expensive, didn't work, and it hurt like a bastard. Like a bastard, I tell you!
I was hesitant to try electrolysis because I knew it was time consuming, and I had heard that it can cause scars. Memories surface of my mother's high school friends, swarthy and Italian like her... only with these oddly enlarged pores on their chins from years of bad electrolysis.
Apparently, electrolysis went unregulated for years. Nicole explained to me that different areas where hair grow require different strengths from the electrolysis machine. The technology has changed a lot in recent years and now, it is regulated in the same way barbershops are.
The fact that Nicole uses recent technology was one of the selling points for me. That, and she's right around the corner from where I live.
I am now in the process of having the hair completely cleared out from my under-arms.
The bad news is, it's going to take awhile and, I'm not going to lie, it hurts. And it is time-consuming.
But from my experience, laser hurt the worst, then waxing, then electrolysis. With this, you almost kind of get used to it; and if you can't, Nicole will recommend a topical anesthetic (I plan to use one next time.)
Nicole's little home studio is very cute, too - good books on the wall, good music playing, and very relaxing. She answers all your questions very thoroughly and tries to help you fully understand how the process works.
If you're looking to try out electrolysis, I definitely recommend Electroyogi.Listed in: La Highland Parqueña

Thanks Yelpers! I found ElectroYogi on here and I can not say how excited I am about Yelping about this. WOHOOO!
For the past two years I've been waxing, MY ENTIRE BODY, and all of a sudden I started getting ingrown hairs, especially around my bikini. (Insert embarrassing here). I was trying everything, Tendskin, just shaving, letting it all grow out, and nothing was solving the damage I had done to my skin.
I can't say enough nice things about Nicole. She explains the electrolysis method thoroughly, listens to your overall goals and will even help you come up with a financial package to help you pay your way toward smooth skin bliss!! Her background is in electrolysis, and I think it's difficult to find a person who has the education and knows the importance of learning about human dermatology and treatments.
It's $100 an hour. The first session is a consultation and electrolysis appointment and is only $50. So far I've gone twice (once for one hour and another time for two hours), and I have already seen results (bikini and upper lip).
I can't wait to bust into my bikini this summer and wiggle my hair-less body all over the place! -

Nicole is one of the sweetest people you'll meet. After doing much research, I decided to book an appointment with ElectroYogi. Thank you yelpers!! :) She's a keeper!
Very professional and attentive. She seems to know her stuff! In my first visit, I was properly educated and informed on the service - also impressed with the studio which was relaxing and had put my nervousness at ease. I have to admit that I did feel some slight pain but it goes away quickly in minutes. If you're looking for a great electrologist, Give her a try - I think you wouldn't be disappointed.
Note: The rates was more then suitable for any working girl's budget(this may depend on the area and time) -

I travel all the way from Northern California to be treated by Nicole. She is phenomenally gifted at her craft and guides you through the entire process. Nicole puts you at ease and explains everything that will happen. Her level of service is superior. She will provide you with extremely useful information prior to your first appointment, she then sits with you before the initial treatment and goes through your medical history, paying special attention to treating the entire person and not just the problem. Her level of aftercare is exceptional too.
I was embarrassed about my "witchie" hairs, but she put me at ease and made me feel human again. I am extremely grateful and thankful for all that Nicole has done for me.
I rarely recommend any one person, however I feel completely at ease recommending Nicole, the official "ElectroYogi" of our time! -

To electrolysis or not to electrolysis, that is the question.
If you wonder about laser or electrolysis for hair removal like I did, here's the answer, free of charge-laser is not a permanent hair removal option, it simply reduces hair growth. But electrolysis actually takes out the hair follicles so it results in permanent hair removal. If I sound like I know what I am talking about, you should talk to the pro, Nicole, who drew little pictures for me to illustrate this concept!
I also found Nicole through fellow yelpers. I've had two treatments and it's been great. I am seeing results and am going back regularly. On your first visit, she will seat you down on her colorful and comfy sofa and explain to you all the ins and outs of electrolysis. She addressed all my questions with patience so I was more at ease with the procedure. She's very professional, yet personable and helpful!
Her home is really adorable and her office is extremely clean. I saw her using antiseptic wipes to wipe her machine and lamp after a treatment. The procedure doesn't hurt as much as I thought. It's usually an hour per treatment. After my first treatment she even emailed to see how I was feeling.
Did I mention she has great taste in music? -

I've been going to Nicole for six months now and couldn't be happier with her services! She is always punctual and professional, which I truly appreciate. She is thorough, knowledgeable and wonderful to talk to. She is also honest: I had a session that went shorter than was scheduled and gave her the full amount without even thinking about it. She promptly gave me $25 back and pointed out the time. I honestly wouldn't have even noticed.
Something that Nicole pointed out to me when I first met with her: waxing actually creates MORE ingrowns. After six months I'm seeing a huge improvement and can honestly tell you I will never go back to waxing.
Thank you, yelp, for helping me find yet another great service. -

Give it a try and make a difference today! If I can do it, so can you.

I also found Nicole through Yelp, and this is definitely the best service I have found through this site. Nicole takes the time to explain why electrolosis is the only form of permanent hair removal, and gives a complete overview of the process.
Her home office is comfortable and clean. Nicole works with precision and professionalism. At the end of the session, she applies a nice, soothing after-care treatment, which feels great on your just worked-on skin.
Now comes the part that is truly amazing: I never thought there would be a day where I didn't have to deal with facial hair. As a performing musician, I want to look my very best on stage or in front of the camera. Since completing these treatments, I have become more confident in my appearance, and my skin is smooth and clear. Nicole is very good at what she does, and I will be recommending her service to anyone in need of hair removal! -

This place is at a house.
I can't really tell how clean the machine or equipments are. They definitely do try and the area is inviting. It's not the biggest room, but it'll do the job.
I've only gone here for one visit and haven't been back. I had mixed feelings about my lady. I was not able to reach Nicole, but I wish I would have waited for her.
The pain level is totally bareable. She did hit a couple of nerves. I did my tummy (happy trail) area. The lady who worked on me was nice, told me about the natural hair growth and it's hard to guage how long I would have to continue to come back. I felt like she did not work fast enough to even cover a small area.
It takes a lot of time and consistency doing this process. I'm not sure if I have that kind of endurance to convince myself at this time. -

I have a lot to say here but I am going to be brief. As brief as I can.
Nicole totally rocks.
After being told I can't do laser cut I have a tattoo on my whoo-haa and it will blister. Not wanting blisters I found Electroyogi on here and went in for a consult. I was afraid of the more pain/more money scenario with electro.
Pain: Yup, hurts. But don't try to be a hero like me on my first visit and go au natural. Take yer Aleve and put on a topical an hour before and you'll be fine.
Money: It's more expensive (seeming) than laser. But this is PERMANENT. Like REALLY. Which. Totally. Rules. And I'm sure if you add up getting laser-ed every few years it will add up to the same. Or less. Or WAXING. I am really just totally over throwing away that $75 a month. I can give that to Nicole and see an exit strategy to this world of hair. I kinda want everything done now... And excited about NEVER thinking about it again.
After the first three weeks, the time when my hair post-wax usually isstarting to grow back and I was still hairless I wanted to do a little DANCE in my bathroom everyday. I still do. After a month and a half I'm already SO happy and we aren't even done. I've invested in a trimmer to keep me neat in the meantime so I don't go nutty and can't wait for the finish line... At least for this area. More will come... Oh yes... I envision a hairless world.
And Nicole is TOTALLY delightful and her house and treatment room are SO lovely and clean and it smells delightfully spa like. It's like getting a fun hang out time with a cool chick and good tunes - except you are getting electricity zapped into your hairs.
Don't bother looking anywhere else. Electroyogi is the best. Just go. Go now. -

I've had about 5 visits with Nicole so far and can't believe I didn't call her sooner. If you are reading these and even the littlest bit curious, give her a ring and make an appointment today...seriously, the treatments have changed my life. I don't even know where my tweezers are anymore, and I have about 7 pairs.
Not only is she highly skilled, communicative and knowledgeable, she is also a joy to visit! Her office is extremely cute, clean and cozy...you'll feel like you're at a friend's house but not at all in an unprofessional environment. It's great to be giving my business to a real, authentic, and warm individual, and not some sterile, dispassionate, electro-company..(not to be confused with the Electric Company TV show from the 70's...that was great!)
Go see Nicole. She is simply outstanding. -

I've been going to Nicole for over a year now and couldn't be happier. Yes electrology takes some time. But I'm just so pleased with the results that it's worth the investment of time and money for permanent hair removal.
I'd done laser treatments but the hair eventually came back. That's when I decided to end my fight with hair forever. yes it not a pleasant sensation but you get used to it and especially don't mind when you start to see results. -

RESPONSE TO ELECTROYOGI (see below): It is amusing to watch a master finesser go into damage control. Must you lie, darling? (a) In October I was CHARGED $28. I paid cash. I gave a 20 and two 5's. You DID NOT HAVE CHANGE in dollars, so you took $25. Your "response" appears to indicate that I was "only charged $25." Lady, you are some piece of work. (b) She telephoned me but I didn't choose to return the call. Can we tell the whole truth, my love? She telephoned AND e-mailed me and I E-MAILED BACK. There was QUITE the e-mail interchange and I'm happy to forward it to anyone who asks to see it. (c) She's grateful I pointed out the pricing error on her website. In her e-mails she indicated the 2011 rate of $30 was a "typo." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Oops! A TYPO!!!! This woman is driving me crazy with her b.s. (d) She is "comping" me so she can write same in her Yelp response and come across as the wronged party. The victim of the extortion is now positioned as extorting HER for a freebie!! I'm putting $40 cash in an envelope with no return address (she says she tore up my check). Since she lost my file she won't have my return address (the check has an old one). I'm happy to pay for honest work. My interest is in warning the public of the nefarious business dealings.
Now let Josecito's Girl tell you da truth of what's going down here. I walked in the door and was sussed as a chump. I was dinged with $40 and now Nicole is backpedaling to make it look as if that's the valid rate. GET HER RATE IN WRITING UP FRONT BEFORE YOU GO!

FORTY DOLLARS for 15 minutes, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? A few chin hairs? I've been doing electrolysis on my chin for over 40 years -- every 6 months, a few chin/mustache/ear hairs. As a teenager, I used to go with my grandmother! Ha! So I know whereof I speak here. Went to Nicole six months ago -- $25 for 15 minutes (she wanted $28, but didn't have change for $30, so took $25). Now I return, booked with Robin. Couldn't FIND MY FILE!!! 15 minutes of work, I ask, "How much today?" "Forty dollars." WHAT??? When did Nicole change her rates? "Oh, I think she raised them back in January." Well, ladies and gents, I just checked the website and the rates say $30 for 15 minutes.
Be warned: GET IT IN WRITING before you go how much you're expected to pay (Nicole books you by e-mail; get the rate confirmed along with your time). Don't be an ambushed suckah like me! The work is excellent but you can get the same quality for the going rate of $25.

Nicole and her team are amazing!
I've been a client for about two years now and I have had work done in a few places and I am extremely happy with the results. I had previously tried everything from waxing, shaving, tweezing, and even laser hair removal...all of which had been temporary and/or unsuccessful. Nicole and her associates do a great job in making you feel comfortable, clean, and safe. The process is a bit painful but the fact that it is permanent makes that obsolete! I have seen significant changes over the past year and I am nothing but grateful...which is why I keep adding more areas for her to work on. Making appointments are simple and I can almost always get in to see someone when I need to. This is a great business and I am really glad to be a continuing client. -

I had always done all my hair removal by myself at home and tried it all - waxing, plucking, shaving, etc. My underarms had had it! They were so irritated and sore and after trying every razor on the market I looked into permanent solutions. I was nervous, but Nicole made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I would definitely recomend this business to people who want permanent hair removal in a discreet, comfortable, caring environment.

Nicole is absolutely the best. The care taken to ensure a calm and relaxing experience is key with ElextroYogi. She has a light hand and is very fast and efficient, covering lots of area in little time. I'm super happy and will be getting lots more work done here.

I can't believe I'll never have to shave, wax, or deal with ingrowns ever again! Nicole at ElectroYogi completely cleared my underarms and bikini, and it's remarkable how smooth my skin has become now that it's not being irritated all the time by shaving and waxing. ElectroYogi is nestled in a private studio in Eagle Rock that is soothing and tranquil, so the experience was amazing from start to finish.

It's been 9 months since I've started going to ElectroYogi for my treatments and I want to tell everyone that IT WORKS! . I used to see Nicole 2-3 times a month the first couple of months and now that I'm in my 9th month, I only see her once a month. Nicole is a miracle worker when it comes to hair removal.
I used to wax once a week and now I only come in once a month and you can see major difference from when I started to where I am now. I've never felt so free from waxing and tweezing. The hair takes a while to grow out, and there are far and few hair now. I don't have to worry about going out and feeling conscious about stubbles.
So, I really suggest anyone who are on the fence about electrolysis to go for it. Go to ElectroYogi! I assure you, you will be well taken care of by Nicole. The results are amazing!1 Previous Review: Show all »

I love Electroyogi. I was nervous at first regarding electrolysis, since I've heard that it hurts. It is just a slightly annoying zap. It doesn't really hurt at all. And you get great results. It also is such a peaceful enviroment. You wait outside in a lovely waiting area for you appointment. Then upon arrival, you are made to feel like you are at home. They listen to Pandora and you can choose the music you listen. I like to let them pick, because I hear new music all the time. They also have great deals and great referral bonuses. If you need Electrolysis, go here. This is the place to go.

I used to go to a different woman for electrolysis before I moved to Los Angeles. I recently started going to Nicole and the experience has bees MUCH better then what I was previously used to. Nicole's studio is very clean and relaxing. All of her equipment is in great condition. She is also very knowledgeable. I really like how she continually explains the process and tells me when she thinks I can expect to see the results I want.

I found ElectroYogi here on Yelp and tried it out because of the great reviews from fellow Yelpers. Everyone was correct. Nicole is amazing at what she does and I just couldn't ask for more. Sure the whole ordeal kinda sucks for us ladies (guys too) but you gotta do what you gotta do and you might as well let Nicole killing those buggers for you!
