Walls of dried fruit, gummies, and little special things that I have a hard time finding at my local Super 88: glutinous rice candy, Gummy Choco, Hi-Chew, jelly-filled marshmallows....
Oh, I'm excited just thinking about it.
I love that this place exists. It took me almost 20 minutes to actually navigate my way in the rain to get to it, but what a funny little shop! Not much for the vegetarians, but it you want a good laugh or a great surprise gift for a friend who lives all things Asian, go here!
MMM MMM scoop candy asian style? Hurray! A wide selection of tasty treats for reasonable prices. I especially love the white rabbit chews and the chocolate stone candy. If you have a sweet tooth and love for chinese candy, then check it out!
Eldo was one of my first/favorite discoveries when I came to Boston for school. There's cake (super cheap/delicious), dried fruits/snacks, and best- candy. Eldo offers a wide variety of Asian candies including gummies, marshmallows and rock candy in flavors like guava and litchi!
Adjacent to the cake house is their Chinese candy/snack store. Only one I know in Boston. Wide selection! Have fresh and very good selection of Chinese snacks such as salty dried plums. Love their dried food section and the great spring roll snacks. A bit pricier than those pre-packaged ones found in Asian store but nothing beats the taste of freshness. Also some great candies you won't find elsewhere. Price by the pound. Check it out!
