I only come on Wednesdays for the buffet and I must say its s0o0o0 good ... all you can eat and it's not that fake Mexican food, it's the real deal .. I mean the beef fajitas are marinated in some kind of sauce and they come out real good.

You know ive been coming to this place for years (look at the pic they have been open forever) and i still dont know why. i think i come here so much its because it is so convenient, quick and i know what to expect. The food is your average tex mex its not too good at all and the drinks could be stronger. We always have pretty bad, unfriendly service. The green sauce tastes chalky at times if that even makes since and most the chicken i have had has a lot of gristle/fat. There are way better places out there - if you can, skip this one.
*EDITED* 9/26/07 you know what they are remodeling and its looking a little better. The food this time was actually really, really good-i was very impressed. BUT the service still sucks..bad. -

Yes I am still a fan of El Toro, their Fajitas are still really yummy but I am a little disappointed because the green sauce that they used to always serve with the red is now only available on request and they changed their chips and they are awful, they need to change back for sure. Also we go an order to go once and they forgot a bunch of stuff which I hear is a regular occurrence. But we will go back because the food is still good but I will update again one day!

Review from Melody R.

Recently attended a conference at San Jacinto College and took a group out to dinner. Not much to choose from in the area, so all things considered it was great food and great service. I ordered the chicken breast with shrimp and crawfish on top. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the guacamole was light and refreshing, and the tortillas were warm and tasty. The tortilla soup looked delightful.
Overall it was a great experience and all 10 in the group agreed!
