This is an awesome little hole in the wall restaurant where you can get dirt cheap Mexican food. Some of their dishes may not be everyone's cup of tea (liver tacos or tripe soup for example) but almost everything I've ordered here has been delicious. Service is very fast and friendly. Just bring cash, because they don't take credit cards.

I completely agree with Pascal.  I haven't been to any of the other Mexican places on Eastern Avenue, mostly because this one is so good!  The food is excellent, well-seasoned (and occasionally spicy, which a lot of Mexican places that cater to gringos aren't), and dirt cheap.  The salsa verde was particularly good, and I love the chile relleno.  The avocado sauce is just that - if you're expecting Tex-Mex guacamole, you will be disappointed, but it's still tasty.

Plus, the service is solid, and the staff speak good English, so if you have any questions or requests, you needn't worry.  And if you want to brush up on your Spanish, you can always watch the TV Azteca on in the background.
