my all favorite al pastor is made here.  tiny chunks of pork covered in adobo.  delicious.  good with the homemade avocado salsa.  at night they used to have a night club that was the mexican dive bar to end all mexican dive bars.  I took a friend there once and there was piss all over the floor in the men's room.  Being the party animal that he is, he commented, "There's piss everywhere-- I love it!"

Not sure where to rate this, just one of those experience places, not rated for food.  If you're hungry past midnight though it's an interesting option.

If you're worried about stuff happening to you, this probably isn't the place for you.  Not that anything should, you'll just worry constantly.

If you don't like being overcharged, this isn't the place for you.  There's like a hidden markup.  You'll always pay at least 2 bucks more than the menu says you should.  One of my favorite moments was this black guy coming in and ordering like two tacos and a drink, they charged him 13 bucks or something.  He started screaming and ended up paying 7 or something, while my friend and I cracked up since we'd been talking about the hidden cost.

Oh, they'll also get your order wrong multiple times, so if you don't like say cilantro, hopefully you know how to say that in Spanish, or you're screwed.

On the plus side, the tacos are good and there are interesting people to look at as they leave Desperados or the club next door.
