Spectacular! Amazing food, quick, cheap. Everything I wanted. I'm already regretting skipping over the things I didn't try. Wish I was a bit closer but it's worth the drive.

This place is amazing. The food is incredible, prices are low, and there's about no better place to be than eating tacos outside on a picnic table on a beautiful Atlanta summer night. This place rocks!

I took someone from LA here the other day, smug smile on his face, and after one bite he was jumping...for joy?
It was the one after man: "I'm from LA man.... I've never had anything, reall....rea.....really HOOOOOOOOTTTT!!"
It wasn't hot.
Spicy.
He was running for water.
They have maybe, three tables.
Great carne asadas.

As for that jump for joy?
I don't know.
I think he is still drinking water, maybe sucking on a mouthful of ice.
His fault, he added the extra spicy verde.

Great little Taco stand! Just had a barbacoa and pastor taco. Both very tender and well spiced. Not quite adventurous enough yet to try the tongue. Perhaps next time.

The place doesn't look like much, but who cares what it looks like when the food is this good?
The barbacoa is excellent as is the carne asada. The food is really cheap which is also a bonus.

My favorite taco stand on Buford. This place is near and dear to my heart, because it (I realize in advance how this sounds) made me like tongue again. Try it. It's not the sliced deli tongue that confuses you about where your own tongue is when you're chewing. It's cooked a million years until it's essentially tender, tasty beef. The chilis are good, the pork is good, but the tongue taco with lots of the green sauce is where it's at. It's just good. Why are there not more of these? Has Buford Hwy just succumbed to the pre-made and the Sysco byproducts?

Taco stand - the real deal here. Magnificent for a cheap, quick lunch. A total shack but great food. Tacos are the way to go here and I've had them all and they are all great.
Recommended for lunch if you are in the area.

Tacos done best at taco veloz. you walk up to this wee taco stand and order your cow tongue taco-or in my case- bean taco. Then you sit down outside at one of their tables or you go through the drive through. Their queso is fantastic and they make home made corn tortillas, simply divine. Taco Veloz may be small but it makes the best beans and tacos and guacomole of any place in town. Drive on down Buford Highway away from Atlanta and look on your left. Its a small place so keep your eyes open after you've passed a few car dealerships you'll see it shining like a gem, a taco stand shaped gem.
