Located in the NoHo Arts District, about a block from Pit Fire Grill and 2 doors down from Tokyo Delves, El Portal stands modestly.  I watched my sister's friend Crystal perform with the Praxis Dance Company perform.  

We paid a little bit extra for better seats but because the stage is higher than the front 4 rows, the best seats are actually in the middle, especially for a dance show...you have to see their feet.

The theater was a good size and the lobby was smaller and more intimate.  Perfect for a dance show.  

The seats were comfortable and sound was fine.  The ushers were very friendly.

If you are ever to watch a show here, find parking early, walk to Pit Fire, grab dinner and head back over.  

Very convenient...!
