El Huarache Azteca

Exploring the side roads... of HWY19 in Clearwater. I discover this unique Mexican spot!! Not sure the region of Mexico the recipes originate. Boy, they did not hesitate to make a statement. This is the second time we stop by and food is consistently delicious, service is wonderful both servers were polite and friendly. It has 2 small chair for outside seating and plenty of seating inside and great vibe inside. Outside you have the melody of local parrots nesting nearby. Definitely becoming a regular here.

One of the best authentic Mexican Resturant I've eaten in in Florida and the US!!! The service was so wonderful and the food was beyond delicious!

Excellent food very traditional flavors . Very nice polite and fast customer service, we stayed outside weather was nice they have 2 little tables with umbrella under the trees and you hear the birds singing, very quiet and relaxing on a Saturday. All the food was delicious . The agua Jamaica and tamarindo also perfectly balanced! Very refreshing!

There is nothing "authentic" about this place. Unseasoned, overcooked, "mexican" food for old people that are terrified of flavor and spices. The queso was the most odd tasting queso I've ever had, seems like it was made with Mozzarella, which isn't Mexican in the slightest.

Their "hot" salsa was barely mild, so it was easy to tell what kind of clientele they're used to serving.

Fajitas came out soggy and severely overcooked. Not to mention that a Fajita plate for 2 and 2 sodas was over $50.

If you want good AUTHENTIC Mexican food, try Chile Verde in St. Pete.

Best Mexican tacos in the pinellas county area! Staff is always super friendly and attentive to customers. will definitely be a loyal customer.

Being from Arizona I have high expectations for Mexican food. This place was delicious and truly authentic.

Authentic Azteca Mexicano food. When you come to El Huarache Azteca you know you are in an authentic Latin restaurant by the clientele seated. We enjoy places like this. Leslie had the Oredn Tacos Dorados, and I the Milanesa De Res. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures. Ask for Xoche with her Aztecan hospitable smile. Leslie and I enjoyed this experience after church today and after visiting Home-warehouse.

I gotta say the people inside were super nice and just a nice atmosphere. Clean bathrooms, etc.

The only issues I had was the quality of the food. There are much better places for Mexican. We ordered the fajitas. Chicken was good. Rice was obviously made with seafood stock which when mixed with the meats (beef and chicken) made it taste weird and did not complement each other.

The beans were good. Salad was ok.

It is a good place cause nothing else is around. They also have happy hour specials.

The food was super authentic and delicious. Service was quick and helpful, English & Spanish spoken which is always a plus!! Place was full of Mexicans and my American hubby!! So needless to say food was on point and red sauce was damn hot!!

Monday for lunch, alone thinking no one would know about this spot in a mixed use office area. Well I was wrong. This Mexican place is very traditional and well connected to "la comunidad"!. The place was packed.
I had the chicken breast lunch special w rice, beans and tortillas. The plate also had a small salad. The refied beans were black and sprinkled w a delicious cheese. The rice and chicken was perfect and the
tortilla was thin and flavorful. I would recommend this place for lunch.
