One night my room mate and I were walking around the Mission hunting for some place to eat, and among the millions of Mexican restaurants we chose El Delfin for its colorful interior and the fact that it didn't look quite as sketchy as some of the other restaurants in the area. It turns out we made the right choice, because the food was truly authentic and reasonably priced. Although the chips were greasy and stale and the salsa was more like spaghetti sauce than salsa, the entrees were delicious. The tortillas were clearly home made, and the fajitas we ordered were excellent. The place was not crowded at all, and its smallness lent it a cozy atmosphere. The single waitress was very attentive and friendly.
The interior of El Delfin is gorgeous. The walls are covered in murals, sort of grotesquely depicting the Spanish defeat of the Aztecs, but overall they were really cool. For its combination of ambience, delicious food, friendly service, and prices, I would definitely eat at El Delfin again.
El Delfin is probably the best Mexican restaurant in San Francisco.
"El Volcan" - molcajete with chile rojo and carne arracherra, simply DELISHHHH. It tastes something my mamá would make.....
Their Camarones al chile chipotle is amazing. Pair that with some fried and spanish rice, and you are set.
I love this place.
El Delfin - reviewed and five-star rated by a real Mexican from Mexico whose mom is a great Mexican cook,.
This is now my favorite mexican spot in SF!!! We had the camarones al mojo de ajo, small mixed seafood cocktail, and a HUGE plate of guacamole.
i am hooked. amazing.
huge portions, great flavors, fresh ingredients, and full of great textures. the guacamole was the super chunk. no flimsy, soupy, pasty shit.
5/5
only criticism is that it's not in my mouth right now.
I've been coming here since I first got to San Francisco. My buddy Billy turned me on to this place and since then I've tried to make it a staple of mine.
The owner has to be the sweetest person I've met. She always makes me feel at home here and pays extra attention to us when we dine there.
I've only had a handful of items on the menu but I will say the Horchata kicks ass, the enchilada chicken plate (comes with three) is killer and the soft tacos are out of this world
I love El Delfin..not only for the great food but the warmth that the owner brings to the joint.
as far as looks..you'd literally walk by this and pay it no mind thinking it was a hole in the wall..it is sort of...its not decorated the best , saying that it is done in a way that shows that the owner has pride in her heritage...and for that...I gotta give her a big thumbs up.
Check it out...its not the best in SF but its damn good on a sat afternoon.
I'd walked by this place a million times and was craving chilaquiles, so I stopped in.
The chips and salsa were pretty awful. The chips were homemade, but too stale to eat, and the red salsa was runny and plain. The chilaquiles in red sauce was far too spicy with big pieces of raw red chiles in it, a little crumbly cheese tossed on, and a hunk of half-scrambled egg on the side. No bueno.
I've been coming to this place since I was a gawky pre-teen with braces visiting her aunt in San Francisco.
As a hole-in-the-wall Mom and Pop place, it's pretty amazing. We're not talking frills here, but the food is so good. I'm pretty addicted to their fajitas, and have been for a long time. When I'm craving some good Mexican plates and Horchata... this is where I go. The service can be interesting, sped up if you speak Spanish since only the waiters, not the bussers speak English, but every time I come here I get lots of nummy food filling my tummy and that, my friend, is not something to be taken lightly.
This is not a burrito joint.
El Delfin is an excellent seafood and meat restaurant on 24th Street in the Mission! I left with a handful of cards and couldn't wait to tell a few friends to go check out this place.
We ordered "volcan del molcajate" which is a combination of beef, very spicy red sauce, a cactus leaf, cheese, grilled green onions and sausage served in a black stone mortar. The presentation is fantastic. The sauce was so delicious. The portion was enormous. My husband and I shared this dish and just kept eating because it was so delicious.
We received very good service this afternoon. The charming waitress told me she and her husband are the owners. Together they make all the food from scratch.
I think El Delfin has sophisticated and authentic food. A total pleasure. I've eaten at places like Dona Tomas in Oakland and Rick Bayless' Topolobampo in Chicago. Both those restaurants aim to stretch the American taste buds way past burritos and enchiladas. I'm saying El Delfin has flair and flavor. No hype, just try it.
The restaurant itself is simple, with several murals. The ones on the West wall are very painterly and handsome.
P.S. The owner made my young son a burrito as that is what he wanted.
A tiny Mexican food place in the heart of the Mission that focuses on seafood. Not as good as we'd heard or been hoping for, but not without redeeming qualities.
We dropped by for dinner one evening & were immediately taken with the murals & other forms of art on the walls (Mayan? Aztec? I'm sure I'm showing my ignorance of Central American history by admitting I didn't know). The place is small and cozy, and I enjoyed attempting (for better or worse) to translate some of the Spanish writing in the art for my boyfriend.
The (only) waitress was quite gracious & pleasant. BF had heard good things about the horchatas & ordered one, while I took our waitress's suggestion & ordered a homemade fruit drink that she'd made (mango, strawberry, lime, & pineapple). Wow! The juice drink was fantastic! Also enormous; by the end of the evening I'd only finished about half of it. The horchata was alright, but too sweet for my preference (and tasted too strongly of powdered sugar).
Our kindly waitress brought us chips and salsa with our drinks, which were both disappointing. The chips were stale, and the salsa was all heat & no flavor. We ordered the guacamole and were disappointed again - it looked so fresh and delicious, and actually had a nice flavor to it, but was so salty we had to stop eating it. (I mean seriously - among the saltiest food I've had in my life.)
My boyfriend got the mole poblano & enjoyed it well enough, though he said the sauce was a bit oily. (I tried it, but am not a huge mole fan to begin with, so it seems sort of not-quite-fair to offer my critique.) I ordered the red snapper, which is served in a tasty "sauce" (I hesitate to call it a "sauce" because it was made up mostly of large chunks of olive, bell pepper, tomato, and onion), and was enormous! The flavor of the fish was good, and it was very fresh and tender; the only unfortunate thing was that red snapper just doesn't have a strong enough flavor to stand up to such a powerful "sauce".
I'm still curious about some of the other things on the menu (as I mentioned above, most of the dishes are fish or shrimp), but was ensaddened that most of the meal didn't live up to all we'd heard about it.
A bit of a hole in the wall on 24th st, El Delfin is nonetheless brightly lit, and decorated throughout with some great Mayan murals on all the walls. Their menu is focused largely on fish, but they also offer plenty of other options.
The basket of chips we got with our complimentary salsa were pretty stale, which was too bad because they looked like homemade chips, and if they were fresher they'd probably be really good. The salsa had a nice amount of kick, but not a whole lot of flavor.
We got the guacamole, which arrives appearing very freshly made, chunky, very heavy on the cilantro, some chunks of tomato, and a ton of salt. It was really unfortunately salty, since it would have been really good otherwise.
For dinner, I got the mole poblano (I love mole, so clearly had to try it, even though their focus is fish). It arrives as a leg and thigh of chicken, very moist and tender, covered in a sea of dark brown mole sauce. The sauce has good, rich flavor - a bit on the peanutty side, subtle on the chocolate side - but was quite heavy on the oil, which is too bad. The Spanish rice is rich, and the refried beans are thick, on the dry side (in a good way), and very flavorful.
The red snapper is very tender and flaky, but its light flavor is a bit overpowered by the tomato/pepper/onion/olive sauce it's cooked in. It's quite good though.
The horchata is very smooth and sweet, tasting like powdered sugar, and very light on the cinnamon. I prefer it to be less sugary, more cinnamon, and more rice flavor, but that's just my preference.
The fresh-made fruit juice, which was orange/mango/pineapple/lime, was really good.
The prices are really pretty reasonable, considering the amount of food you get. Unfortunately, the food left some things to be desired.
We didn't have any of the service troubles some of the other reviewes mentioned.
I really wanted this place to be great, because it's right down the street from my house and that would make it very convenient. The staff is very friendly, so I was encouraged by the warm greeting and quick delivery of menu and drinks. Unfortunately, the food is just so-so, and with so many great restaurants in the neigborhood, I'm not sure why I'd go back here. Stale chips, runny salsas, and chewy fish. Bummer!
This is, what I think anyway, the best authentic, homemade style Mexican food you can get in San Francisco. Many dishes are traditional if not traditional flavors. Their menu are apps and plates- no tacos, no burritos, no quesadillas from a premade cafeteria line.
Won't talk it up- just visit and eat and see for yourself. I am that much confident.
I was on my way to another yelp approved restaurant with M and L, who came up to visit me in the big city Labor Day Monday, when we stumbled upon this one. M was craving good Mexican breakfast, so we looked at the menu, saw the prices were good, and decided to try it out.
The server was this really nice lady who brought us salsa and chips (which were stale, like most of the other reviews state. quite some talent to be perpetually stale). I ordered a combo chile relleno and green chile chicken enchilada that came with rice, beans and a salad (if iceberg lettuce and tomatoes count as a salad). The portions were generous, and the chile was huge, though got a bit too stringy. The enchilada had good proportions of chicken cheese and sauce. M had chilaquiles, which were decent though the sauce was a bit heavy. L had mole enchiladas which were pretty good too.
If I had looked it up before going, I would've tried a seafood dish. Overall, a pretty good food, decent prices and friendly atmosphere.
Madre Dios!!! My taste buds are still tingling with the tangy taste of their volcanic sauce! This is a place for those that like big bold flavors. There's nothing drab or mellow about the Volcan dish that comes in three legged bowl cut from volcanic rock filled with meat and cactus boiling over. It's a treat you should get it when you're there.
I was also struck by how tasty their salsa is with big chunks of green onion and a nice firey finish. The service is very friendly and that atmosphere festive without being Chevy's offensive. So yeah... check it out if you're in the area...
So this place specializes in seafood, hence the name El Delfin.
My husband took me here when we first started dating, and it's been a favourite since. He loves heat, so always gets the camarones al chipotle, which provides a nice creamy hot sauce for the shrimp, as well as your french fries, which you can get instead of beans.
Recently I got the shrimp fajitas, which were great. Don't expect them to come out on a sizzling plate like they do at Chevy's. If you want a big presentation, get the volcan en Molcajet, which is a huge stone mocajete filled with all sorts of goodies---meat, sausage, onion, cactus. One day I will be hungry enough for it---that or I will happen to be visiting with the Oakland Raiders or something.
They have great chips and salsa, the best Horchata I've tasted, cool colorful murals on the walls, and excellent service. And good prices, considering what you're getting.
Had the volcan(o) meal. It was a lot of meat. Things I liked about it, it was hot, it came in a volcano looking pot, there was a lot of meat. Things I didn't care for was the cactus, the sandy texture to the escallions, lack of flavour in the meat.
I was really full after eating though. All meals range from $10-13. Beers are $3.
A little high on price for Mexican food, but not bad.
Of note, the parking is all street and tough to find. Be prepared.
It's alright IMO needs a bit polishing. The food is only good if you did not grow up amogst it then you wouldn't know what to comapare it to. I certaily is better than most "Mexican food" places, I for one am glad that they did not have Super Burritos on their menu. Yet the enchiladas, and chilakiles where much too similar. The ceviche is actually shrimp cocktail. and a few things about the service, say no atention whats so ever to your drinks but only because the main lady seems to be the only one working, there where two other waiters, i'm guessing her kids that did nothing but get in her way.
This place has much potential but for a $40 breakfast for two i can do alot better in terms of service and food.
So far the best, authentic and reasonably priced place in SF...no frills straight up GOOD Mexican food. For those doing the low-carb thing, Mexican places can be difficult since most highlight tortilla based dishes, but tasty treats like The Volcano is a favorite for my man who loves spicy and unique flavors....hence that is why we now have a baby together...just sayin'
I LOVE their mole enchiladas, great sauce very similar to mom's homemade stuff. Their guac is good and service is very attentive. A must when in the mission!!
AWESOME food. I went here for my friend's graduation dinner with her family. The place is super cute and the waitstaff are very friendly... and the food, AMAZING. I had the mole enchiladas and I tried everyone's sauces and was blown away. Definitely the most authentic Mexican food I've had north of the boarder. I yelled at my friend for not bringing me here earlier.
Could not recommend it more highly. It is very authentic so if you are obsessed with a clean and spotless restaurant, get over it. They are definitely sanitary.
The cook is the husband and the waitress is the wife -- too sweet!
I had to add one more star! I've been thinking about this place since Friday (07/24/09). Waiting to have extra cash to go back!

On my second visit with Josh R., my fish was excellent again. The guacamole fab. If you're in the mood for seafood at a bargin sit-down price, this is the place. The folks that work here are very nice too. Always polite and happy to help you. For the price, this is about as high-end as you get on 24th.

This restaurant is SO good!! It's about three blocks from my house, so I come here at least once a week. Sublime mole enchiladas, volcanoes, and camarones al mojo de ajo. It's a very casual sit-down restaurant, and the meals come with a fresh, crisp, dark green salad. It's very consistent, the server (who I think is also an owner) is wonderful, and the prices can't be beat. This place is so good that it should draw huge crowds, but it seems to be an undiscovered gem. If you want a delicious, satisfying, under-priced meal, then El Delfin is the place for you.
This place rocks. Every time we go, we're greeted by the incredibly friendly staff and then sit back and enjoy *outstanding* food at very reasonable pices. Seafood is the star here, but they also have fab mole and guacamole, and these insanely huge, wonderful seafood cocktails. Everything is cooked to order and fresh.
The "Drunken Shrimp" are amazing, among other stars.
The murals are also beautiful and give the place a colorful, vibrant amosphere.
And, to be clear, this is not a taqueria, so don't go expecting tacos and burritos.
What a great find in the land of California style burritos and dirty taco joints. The food here is INCREDIBLE. From the chips and salsa straight through the rest of the meal.
The Chipotle Prawns are simply awesome. Butterflied huge prawns in a creamy, spicy jalapeno sauce that really hits the mark.
Great stuff!
Sunday morning, you call my cell phone and I don't pick up, you urgently need to reach me, what do you do? Simple, go to El Delfin, I'll be there with my aunt Dominga and my uncle Bernardo, eating tamales en mole, caldo de mariscos or huevos rancheros, with some atol de nuez or a cold Pacifico.
You really can't go wrong with this place. The food is awesome. If you go during your lunch break, I suggest you call in your order, unless you can take a 2 hour break. If you like shrimps, try the "Camarones borrachos" shrimp and tequila? wow! if you like salmon I suggest you try the "Salmon Tornado." Anyhow, just give it try, it's worth it.
My sib lives nearby and called this place her mainstay for a quickie bite. She didn't tell me the rest.... this place rocks! Reasonable prices, lotsa food for the $, and salsa with some bite. Taco salad was enough to fill up 3 hungry people, the chicken in dishes like the mole and caldo had meat so tender it falls off the bone when you barely touch it. All this and service with a smile? It's a good reminder I'm not on the East coast. The cinnamony horchata's among some of the best, even in Mexico and South America! Don't believe me? Swing by the area and give it a shot...
Pros:
- HUGE portions
- Quick service
Cons:
- HUGE portions (it's a con if you're trying to eat light!)
El Delfin is pretty awesome, I must say. I was skeptical at first, since good food in the Mission isn't always the easiest thing to come by, but the NYG assured me that this place had THE BEST guac she'd ever had the pleasure of eating, AND their soups were out of this world.
Saturday afternoon, 1:30PM, we decided to stop in for lunch. Parking wasn't too bad; we only had to hoof it for about two blocks. Upon walking in, a host of murals depicting Aztec and indigenous Mexico greeted us. Many of them were morbid, but they were really cool, regardless. Unique. We were seated promptly, and of course I ordered myself a Mexican Coca Cola. A true staple at any Mexican restaurant/taqueria that wants to call itself authentic.
The food itself was excellent. Nice thick chips without being too greasy... flavorful salsa with a nice bite, and ample chunks of goodies...the GUAC. Was pretty darn good, although when we asked for medium, our waitress saw how white all of us where and made it "gringo medium", aka mild mild mild. It was still quite tasty though.
The food was really heavy and rich, and CHEAP. All five of us ate full meals, including chips w/guac, drinks (some had beer), and entrees for under 50 bucks. We left very full. I'd say if we'd eaten any more you may have needed to cart us out on stretchers.
If you are hungry for Mexican food and looking for a hidden gem, this is the place to go. Everything I've had here has been delicious with the salmon with dill sauce and tequila prawns as standouts. I believe the restaurant is family owned and the woman doing the service is very charming and attentive. The plates are big and come with a salad and corn tortillas as well as chips and tasty salsa. They also have original dishes with unique flavors which is nice on a street with so many Mexican restaurants.
I live really close and eat here regularly. This is a family run business with fresh salad, especially considering Mexican restaurants ofter don't concentrate on the produce.
Some of my friends love the soup, some hate it, it definitely causes extreme reactions. Hmmmm what else, oh yeah!
SHRIMP COCKTAIL IS FIVE STAR. FRESH, CHEAP AND HUGE (like me)
This brings me to the center piece of the whole deal, the shrimp plate. Each one is exactly what you would hope for. The one exception is the TEQUILA PRAWNS witch defy expectation on every level. There is really no dish anywhere that is like this one. It's creamy, meaty, spicy and savory. The one fish dish that rivals it in originality and flavor is the PESCADO VERECRUSANA. It's delectably cooked Snapper in caper/white wine sauce that doesn't forget Mexico. Mmmmmmm.
The Volcano can be good but it is hit and miss, but the non-menu item SEAFOOD VOLCANO is always good.
The lady who runs the joint is priceless sweet and will accommodate you. So go and eat well.
For someone who doesn't care for taqueria very much, I think this place rocks!
Plenty of entres to choose from and excellent dishes.
Great service.
It totally elevated taqueria style latin food to the cusine level.
If you don't go there you'll never get pass your stereotype of Latin food as just some kinda better fast food.
Go there now!!=)
Great service, wholesome atmosphere, and the site of my first experience with chilaquiles (where have I been this whole time?!). This dish combines 2 of my favorite food items - green chile and tortilla chips - and they did a fabulous job. I chose to add steak, which may have been too decadent. A great meal.
There was something that looked like a steaming volcano being served to tables next to us, they definitely knew more than we did. Have to go back and try that one.
When I think of El Delfin, and I do a lot because it is like right near my house, I think of Breakfast, and then Lunch, or Perhaps even Dinner Burrito. Okay, the truth be told, I am not a Burrito fan. Too much rice and beans in my meal tends to do a number on my gastrointestinal tract if you know what I mean. But I will go there on occasion for a breakfast burrito to go. It is even better when you can get someone else to go and get it to go and bring it back to you. And then you can have a lazy day with plenty of food at hand. Eggs and Chorizo on my burrito make it al-right by me.
Oh and even if you don't want to eat there, go have a look at some of the most stunning murals in the city. I live only 1/2 block from Balmy alley and I still say that the best muralist is the one who did some major murals in el Delfin. The owner says he comes from mexico sometimes to paint here in the city.
I like Restaurente El Delphin very much. Stangely enough I first became aware of this restaurant because one of the owners was at jury duty the same time I was last year. I guess it's always good to plug your restaurant even when explaining your hardship to the judge as to why you can't serve. Anyhoo, back to the review...
I've eaten here twice and both times were pretty good. I've had the camarones Al Mojo De Ajo prawns with creamy garlic sauce ($10.50), which is heavenly. And I've had the Volcan En Molcajete ($12.00) pieces of tender meat "arrachera" stile prepared with cactus, sausages, onion, and cheese topped with a red sauce, which was a complete disappointment (1 star deduction).
I would be happy to eat here again and try more things on the menu. I like the happy decor and the service is friendly and efficient.
First of all, Yelp needs to relist this restaurant under it's REAL name, "El Delfin". (Note: Yelp has corrected the spelling error).
OK, Liziwyg and I ate there a couple nights ago. I won't bore you with descriptions of the decor, suffice it to say it is what I'd call a casual dining experience.
Cutting to the chase: the food was very good. Not gourmet, but very good.
An easy 4 stars for the food, minus one star for service and "vibe".
The guacamole arrived within a few minutes. It was chunky and fresh tasting, with fresh cilantro in it, and not too heavy on the onion!
As we nibbled chips and the excellent guacamole, we watched another customer come in, get handed a beer, place his order, and get his food, while our drinks still had not arrived (think he might have an in with the waitress?).
Liziwyg loved her entree, prawns sauteed in a spiced cream sauce. I was more than happy with my perfectly cooked snapper. My sauce was a little salty, probably due to the generous amount of whole olives and capers in the sauce, but still really good. Salty or not, I left half of my one cold Modelo unfinished - since our drink order didn't show up until halfway thru our entrees. Bummer.
It's no reflection on El Delfin, but while paying our check I was panhandled (inside the restaurant) by an aggressive street character sporting a huge facial scab and holding a lit cigarette. When I told him NO, he headed deeper inside towards other diners. The cook had to come out of the kitchen with a scowl and a cleaver to get the boozy bum to leave. That part was a bit too Tarantino for me and the GF...
Very friendly and welcoming waitstaff. Complimentary chips and salsa which were pretty good. We ordered the Volcano and Chipotle Prawns.
The Volcano was a very impressive display. It was delivered to the table in a tripod like container which looked and weighed like cast iron. It was bubbling and oozing juice and sauce over the edge ( quite dangerous ).
The contents were a combination of beef, very spicy red sauce, a cactus leaf and 3 or 4 green onions. The beef was very tough and chewy and as far as the sauce, a little goes a long way. I think cactus is an acquired taste or acquired texture type item. The prawns were wonderful. Very moist and succulent with just the right amount of heat in a creamy chipotle sauce. I would round this place up to 3.5 stars if I could give a .5 star. I would return to try some of the amazing looking bowls of soup that kept passing by.
Every now and then Yelp lets me down with an over rated score.
This place is on the verge of being on my suck ass list. First of all, the tortilla chips were tough and a bit chewy. That immediately throws up a red flag for me. The enchiladas with the mole sauce was decent but not enough to sway me from what really sucked about this place-- the service. Service here was pretty awful. The lady was nice enough but totally MIA and it's not like they were very busy at all. On top of that, when we ordered 2 beers-- btw the only way to get that order in was to find her on my way back from the bathroom-- our beers never showed up at all. And when we got our check, of course we were charged for the beers. Anyway the charge was taken off. But isn't always funny that when service is really bad and the wait staff is nowhere to be seen, as soon as leave money on the table, they're all over that shit like nobody's business.
Anyway, too many other great Mexican restaurants in the Mission to come back here.
Yummy - El Delfin is great for some moderate priced ($11-$13) Mexican seafood. Portions are pretty big. If you like - 1) garlic, 2) creamy sauces, 3) spicy, 4) seafood - this is the place for you. We tried the tequila prawns and the volcano beef. LOVED the tequila prawns, but didn't like the volcano beef. Volcano beef is VERY cute in concept comes in boiling cauldron and really looks like a volcano - bubbly red with grilled pickled cactus and scallions and cheese. But BEWARE it is spicy. The thing we really didn't like - although the spicy was great it lacked a good base of flavor and the meat was tough.
So my recommendation is go for seafood - it's called el delfin. I'll of course have to go back to try more dishes to get a good read on the place. Service was great.
We've gotta get the word out about this place, it's never full when I go.
Fresh!
Surprising dishes!
Warm, friendly servers!
Reasonable prices!
Rah!
Gimme an E!
GImme an L!
Gimme a D!
Gimme a [your turn...]
Pleasantly decorated little restaurant. Food is okay. Service is questionable. One visit was fine. Second visit was uncomfortable. The waitress was rude to my friend, but polite to me. Service was slow. I think they were unpr.epared for the day because while we were there, food and supplies were being brought in. I think they were short handed and short of supplies. Too bad, I thought I might frequent the place after my first visit, but after my second visit, I haven't gone back
go. eat. there. now! world class food at Mission prices. The chef, Jorge: trained in french style technique. Take that and add traditional Mexican ingredients - SO GOOD! really. and the prices? $10 - $13 for ENTREES.
Order the guacamole - it really sets the stage for what's to come. It's simply how guacamole is meant to be.
When I logged on to write my review today, I was pumped to see that others have enjoyed El Delfin as much as I did.
I tried it for the first time last night with a group of girlfriends. The service was really friendly, the guac was super-fresh (loved hearing the chopping of the avocados and tomatoes in the kitchen while we waited), and the entrees were all yummy. High marks to the tequila prawns, chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, and the tamales! The low point for us was the salad course - your typical iceberg, one tomato slice, one cucumber, etc. But of course, we didn't choose El Delfin for its salads, and we got over this minor lull pretty quickly.
What I really liked about El Delfin was the laid-back, come-as-you-are atmosphere. I was still professionally dressed, having come straight from work, but I could have worn Saturday jeans and a t-shirt. Plus, the portions are huge for a small price! Bring your appetite or you'll need to take a doggie bag.
Perhaps the most interesting part about El Delfin - aside from the fact that it took me wayyyyyy longer than it should have to get why the bathroom had dolphin-themed art (hello, the Spanish translation...don't ask) - was the music selection. They played everything from Deliverance (wah, wah, wah) to In the Mood to the theme from the Young & the Restless. It kept our casual dinner additionally light-hearted, resulting in a really pleasant outing with friends.
