The food here is always excellent. One of the best restaurants in the area in my opinion. They're always busy but they treat customers warmly and with a smile.

They recently helped my wife and I out on a catering order for their freshly made cantaloupe and pineapple juice. It was so delicious and they made everything so easy for us.

If you're in the area and looking for something unique and delicious, come here... You won't regret it.

Probably the only Salvadorian restaurant in the area. A lot of people don't know the difference between Mexican and Salvadorian. But tamales are different. And pupusas are Salvadorian and sopes are Mexican. Had a craving for pupusas and although it was fulfilled, we were not satisfied. Loroca was tasty. But the veggies and salsa were lacking in flavor. Tamales were okay.

Plus was that they have a patio if you like eating with your dog. Otherwise, it's on a busy street and gets loud. Next to a biker bar.

Overall, "eh..." Seems like it has a lot of reviews from people that are okay with mediocre food.

Remember: food adventures are out there. If at first you don't succeed, then try another place. Ha!

Hot diggity. I would definitely come back here.

      They are small.

      They are family run.

      Cute, brightly colored interior.

      Great service.

They offer a nice choice of menu items and specialties featuring both Mexican and Salvadoran entrees.

Tongue in verde sauce. Tangy, tender, plenteous meat. Too bad the side of beans was on the bland side. But the thick, homemade corn tortillas..... made my heart sing!

The El Comal breakfast was interesting and definitely worthy of trying. Two eggs, done your way. Black beans and rice, delicious! Fried plantains, soft and sweet. And two plump, little Salvadoran sausages with a deliciously savory flavor. And then your choice of bread, tortilla, or bolillos.

      Delightful!

Good place for pupusas! The other dishes are meh. Their camarones al mojo de ajo are the worst I've ever tasted.
Would come back but only for their pupusas.
      Good customer service.

We were greeted by staff, this is a GREAT place for true Salvadorian food! Also GOOD, great service! We ordered the Chile & Frijoles Paposa and the Lengua Gorditas! They were hot, perfectly cook, meat was very tender! One of Lake Elsinore's great Secret! I highly recommend this restaurant! Until next time!

I read that the place had a fire today. The restaurant owners were renters and it depends on building owners what will happen next, if they will rebuild or tear down. Sad that this happened for the owners and employees.

Their pupusas are as good as the ones I had visiting San Salvador. Their food is authentic here and the service is good. It's def worth the drive from Temecula to this location.

The area where the restaurant is located is not a very nice area. If I was driving by I would never stop here to eat. The only reason we went here to try El Salvadorian food was because of the reviews on yelp.

The pupusas are very good and so was the tamales. The yuca and the friend pork didn't taste fresh at all. It felt like it was previously fried and heated in the microwave. Yuk

I truly wanted to give them a five star but the old yuka lowered the review by a half point and the fact that the bathrooms are located outside of the restaurant like an old gas station def lowered it to a 4 star instead of a 5 star.

The prices are reasonable. If you order pupusas you know it's just made, but the fried pork and yuka tasted old.

It's a mixture if authentic Mexican and Salvadoran food. We eat mostly vegetarian and they have great options to accommodate. We mostly order the papusa's. The jalapeño/cheese and the squash/cheese are amazing and the cabbage salad that accompanies it is spicy and delicious on top. We also get the plantain dish with rice and beans. It's SO good. Everything is really filling. The staff is always polite and don't get upset like other places do when you place a large food order.

Jalapeño and cheese papusa. So good!

This is a pretty damn good taco shop. I've been here a couple of times before. I had a previous review, but it was deleted, along with many others for reasons, that wasn't acceptable to yelp. I've cleaned up my reviews, to be PC acceptable. Fuck That Shit. I hate being PC.

Anyways, I've had many selections from the menu, Sopas, Huevos Rancheros, Tacos, Enchiladas, it's all been pretty damn good.

Today, I had my normal tacos, asada, carnitas and chicken, they're a little on the high side. $2.50 each, my only mistake was not to ask for guacamole on them, but they where still very good. All the tacos came with onions, cilantro and green sauce on the side.

3 tacos and ice tea $10.40 with $3.60 tip. It was worth it.

The only reason why I'm doing 4 stars, they have a rock and dirt driveway for a parking lot, I'm 99% sure, I got a flat tire on my truck last year because of it. That trip cost me $160.00 I had guacamole on them that time.

      Updated review

Get the Pupasas here its great. That's all I get here. 2 fill me up and the saus they use is great. Service at dinner time is cool. Fast and always friendly.

I really recommend this place to every one. I guess I'll have to try the asada one day but Wow Pupasa hits the spot for me.

Great job and please don't change a thing!!

      Great dish. Filling too.
