My step daughter wedding is coming soon and my husband wanted to wear a Mexican Wedding Shirt (long sleeve Guayabera) and he found this place online. We took a trip to check it out and they have a great selection of guayaberas, but not many of the long sleeve ones. They were very helpful and ordered a couple for my husband. We were concerned about the waiting time, but they had the new shirts the next day and we were very pleased with what we saw. They heard everything we wanted and they delivered.
Very pleasant people to deal with, they know what "excellent service" means and they provided it to us. Thanks Manuel and your team for your help and service. We'll be coming back!
P.S.: If you are into the western clothing, this is the place to go!

Family owned business. Great customer service to match the quality of products they sell. They sell western jeans, belts, shirts, belt buckles and hats. They even do custom hat shopping and boot stretching. Highly recommend.

Received great personalized service and they had a very nice selection of quality women's boots. The associate was very knowledgeable about features and styles.
Would definitely recommend early during the week for less traffic in store and more attention.

Found the perfect pair of COMFORTABLE boots and they will accommodate a wider calf.

My birthday gift to my wife this year was cowboy boots. (Cowgirl boots?) I made a list of five stores that sold women's cowboy boots and we started with El Centenario due to its proximity. The store's name refers to 'centennial', i.e. a one hundred year celebration, but that is definitely unrelated to my wife's age.

It's easy to find, just a few blocks west of FWY 5 on the north side of H Street. Parking is no problem in this small strip center's lot. The store carries a vast selection of Western footwear, clothing, hats, belts and other accoutrements. There are two gorgeous saddles on display.

We walked by several men outside the store when entering. We found no salesmen in the store, and decided to browse for a while. The group outside eventually finished its very important business, and two salesmen entered the store, but we were not greeted or acknowledged by them.

There were dozens and dozens of mens and womens boots on the shelves, with few distinctions as to price or brand that I noticed. Many had no price markings at all. I also noticed that both the right and left boots were on display, each in different areas. This is an old trick to bolster the apparent magnitude of available inventory. Normally, only one of a pair is displayed.

In any event, my wife found a pair of boots she wanted to try in her size and had to find the salesman to get some service. Nope, not quite right, but she saw another pair, and had to put her shoes back on and chase down the salesman for service. I found this lack of engagement by sales personnel quite at odds with selling items ranging up to $500.

The good news is that she sold herself on a pair of boots, and the sale was made. The bad news is that the boots were a product of China.

El Centenario was referred to me by a local for authentic Western Wear.

I was not immediately approached after entering. Perhaps it was because it was lunch time and employees were eating. But as a person new to this style of clothing, I appreciate that. After getting an idea of what was available, in stock, I asked an employee a question and she was very helpful. After trying on several pairs of boots I settled on the black charro botines.

I wasn't taking notes, but off the top of my head they had durango, la barca, Los altos, and many more boot brands. I noticed white diamonds and Scully shirts. They also had two hand-tooled pistol rigs! There is much more in stock than what is shown on their Yelp and eBay stores.

Great place to buy your western wear. I bought a Texana the price was fair and also managed to get a pair of pants at 50% off. The person that took care of me was very polite and patient answering all the questions I had and explaining stuff. Definitely will go back to get more stuff to match my Texana.
