I've been working with EkMedia for just over a year and the level of service still pleasantly surprises me. It's not just the amazing turn-around time (and it is amazing) - but I can literally say "I'd like it to be sort of like this, but not like that, but I'm not really sure what that means." and Melissa will come back with exactly what I didn't even know I wanted.
Every time.
On those rare occasions I do know what I want, she follows through with finesse.
Don't choose EkMedia because you won't be disappointed - choose EkMedia because you will be blown away! -

Melissa was a client of mine (DogBoy's Dog Ranch) before I became a client of hers. I always try to do business with my clients, so I was eager to see what she could do for us. She has done and redone our websites and ad work for years and I would never use anyone else.
Melissa is not only a wonderful person to work with, but her turnaround time is incredible, and her creativity and talent is unmatched. She has done wonderful work with our sites, and always comes to me with new ideas of ways to make our site better. Recently she redid our website and gave us the power to make updates ourselves - this saved us money and made updating our site even easier, but we still always ask for the pro when we need anything complicated or creative done. She is the master!
I highly HIGHLY recommend Ek Media for any of your website or ad creation needs. She ROCKS! -

When I owned my small marketing company, I went through a designer a year - they just always seemed to flake out, decide to do something else, get really expensive all of a sudden, or simply disappear.
I knew Melissa for a few months before I worked with her, so I already knew she was serious about her business, a hard worker, and extremely quick. Totally on the ball.
When I worked with her, it was no different. She created beautiful, functional websites for my clients, and she was always in budget, on time (never, ever missed a deadline and USUALLY beat them!), and always blew me away with her talent.
She also created a site for a side business I set up, and she did a fantastic job on it! I firmly believe that her work helped my new venture take off much faster than it would have if I'd had a less-impressive site.
Melissa creates super high quality work for a fraction of what an agency would charge, does it quickly, almost always NAILS IT the first time, and becomes a real asset for your business.
I never hesitate to recommend her - she is great. -

Meet the Business Owner: Melissa E.
My name is Melissa and I'm the owner of ekMEDIA...not to mention the designer, accountant, and all that other fun stuff. I'm driven by great design, color, and things that "pop." I deliver on time, on budget, and I nail the essence of a design quickly.
A designer since 1994, I started by creating advertising layouts for a Virginia Beach-based tourist magazine, and have continued to hone my design and computer skills since then.
I also love to draw and hope one day to write and illustrate a children's book or design greeting cards.
When not working, you'll find me walking around Town Lake with Zeke, my big old yellow lab, or hanging out with my friends - many of whom are former (and current) clients!
