i attended this camp as a camper for 5 years and trained/volunteered/worked as a councelor for 5 years and i can say that this camp shaped the person i am today. if you are looking for somewhere to send your child[ren] for a week or two, this is the place. there is great food, wonderful staff, a large amount of activities to do day to day, campfires, camp songs, and a honors program that teaches your kids about values and respect and honesty and lessons they don't realize they've learned until years later. i plan on sending my children when i have children because i know what i have gained from 10 years at camp and i want them to feel as passionate about it as i do.
