I'll review this restaurant as a sushi-fan, not hibachi.  I've been coming to Edohana for 3 years and it's terrific.  The food is really good quality.  Now, I'm like a real sushi afficienado and love uni -sea urchin.  They always have it fresh, a good sign of the rest of the fish.  You have to try the Mavs roll - it's really a tower of rice, avocado, crab, and spicy tuna.  Too much for one person.  Other favorites are the Lady Susie roll - carb free with cucumber on the outside, and the Alaskan roll - salmon and avocado over a California roll. I prefer the uncooked rolls, but they have quite a few cooked items.  The Cajun tuna is wonderful - very spicy and gently seared on the outside.   The service isn't the greatest, but once you are a regular, it's better.  The sushi is so far better than the hibachi, so have some fun and try this!  Love this place!!!

Edohana is a Sushi & Hibachi restaurant just off of I30 in Rockwall.  The food wasn't the best I have had, but it was a lot better than some hibachi experiences I have had.  I think of the chef used a bit more sauce and seasoning, the food would have been much much better.

The portions were large and the menu was relatively inexpensive for the quality of the food.  We sampled the sirlion, filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp... all were good.

The waitress and chef were accomodating of my request for no mushrooms, which can be hit or miss due to a language barrier and the loud background noise in most hibachi places.  The waitress was quick to get refills and check on us, and the chef was entertaining.

I'd definitely go back and see if the review is worth an extra star.
