Due to a very, VERY rough year medically I have had the "privilege" to see just about every doctor in this practice. I love them all! Of course I have my favorite doctors but every one of them that have seen me, whether in the office or on hospital rounds, have been knowledgeable, caring, and great listeners. My wife has different insurance and was so impressed she jumped all the hoops to make a change to this office. Office staff is also as good as it gets, thank you Edinger Medical Group for making a really rough year just a bit better by being awesome!

Terrific group of doctors and staff. My family sees 3 of the doctors and we like them all. I like it that you can be seen quickly by someone on call....that has never worked out bad for me. The parking is a nightmare....but the care is good. I had to search for a few years before finding physicians I really like. The ability to email the doctor is a huge plus. We are fortunate to spend very little time with doctors, but when we do it is a positive situation.

Edinger Medical Group has been my family's doctor's office for over 10 years now. The excellent medical care that myself, my husband and my two children have received from the doctors and staff is of course the primary reason we've stuck with EMG.
The reasons for our visits have run the gamut: yearly checkups, ear infections, pneumonia, high blood pressure, a pregnancy, ADD, and even the H1N1...we are always able to get a same day appointment with a good physician, our wait has never been more than 45 minutes total, the doctors have always had time to listen and ask questions, and the diagnosises are accurate. I am happy to say that my family and I are in good health today in part because of EMG. We feel well taken care of by these doctors. -

Should have submitted this review a long time ago. We have since moved out of the area but I couldn't leave without letting everyone know how wonderful this office is.
Everyone there is courteous and helpful. They are always quick to return your call and/or email, (their website allows for email contact) submit your refills, etc.
My physician was Dr. McConnaughey. He is without a doubt the best doctor I've ever had. He listens carefully, doesn't rush you, gives you all the information you need and his bedside manner in general is terrific.
If you need a GP this is the place to go. -

Some of the doctors are more knowledgeable than others - you have to try them all to find one who knows about your particular problems, and then fight to get appointments with that same doctor. Some of them have been incredibly rude and ignorant of current medical practice in certain specialty areas, such as cardiology. Another Edinger doctor gave me a diagnosis in my chart that she did not mention to me, nor had she tested for that condition in any way. When confronted she admitted she didn't know what was wrong with me. It can impossible to get an appointment unless you email a doctor directly - then voila - an appointment will open up.
I am stuck with this outfit for another year thanks to Medicare rules but have to start shopping around. -

I took my son to see Dr. Chacon due to a cough that he had for over 2 weeks. She was so focused on the fact that he is somewhat overweight she listened to his lungs and said " he is to padded to hear very well, but he probably has a virus." she took a few listens and stopped. His ear was impacted with wax and instead of cleaning it out to check for infection underneath she said I could buy over the counter cleaner, and sent us on our way. Three days later at the urgent care, he had an ear infection under the wax that the urgent care removed and he has walking pnuemonia!! we were just another number!! OBVIOUSLY WE WONT BE GOING BACK!
