My husband and his family love German food (and Edelweiss) so I planned a surprise birthday dinner for him on a Saturday night.

Unbeknownst to me, they do not serve lunch on Saturdays- I showed up to drop off balloons and a cake while they were closed. Luckily, I ran into someone from the staff and they helped me bring everything inside.
Kendra answered my questions and was more than accomodating with my requests.

This place knows how to handle large parties for birthdays!
Service was prompt, friendly and they anticipated the needs of our 18 guests. Giovanni, the manager, and Jamie, our waitress, made it very easy for me to enjoy our time there rather than worrying about if everyone was being taken care of.

Another event involving a friend who loves the place, another trip to Edelweiss. This time we hedged our bets and reserved the bar area. The food came faster, we were right next to the bar and all the German beers I'm a fan of, and we didn't have to deal with any waitstaff or management.

That said, the food was VERY underwhelming (ribs and sausage with sauerkraut and potato cakes) considering the cost of setting it all up.

On a lighter note, I left the restaurant in a relatively good mood this time.

Let me start by saying I have never been treated so rudely and received such poor customer service.  I remember going to Edelweiss as a kid with my parents and having a fun and enjoyable time. When a Groupon became available I thought it would be fun for my wife and daughter to experience. We were surprised to see the menu a bit on the pricey side, but felt it would be worth it for live entertainment. The arrangement of the stage is a bit odd with it being in the middle of the restaurant and our view to the dance floor was completely blocked, but we had a good time and my daughter loved listening to the band. Unfortunately, all that was ruined when it was time to pay the bill. Our waiter was a nice older gentleman that did a good job and provided prompt service. He informed us that happy hour was until 7. Looking forward to trying some good German beer on draft my wife and I both had two beers. Even better they were half-priced...so we thought.  Unbeknownst to us, and apparently our waiter, the happy hours had changed to 6 pm two weeks prior. The owner/manager took $10 off but absolutely refused to honor the full happy hour price and proceeded to provide the rudest customer service I have ever received.

Food - It was just ok. I would say below average, but edible.

Service - Our waiter was great. He was friendly, courteous, and prompt. As I said before, the owner/manager was a complete ***.

Band - Very enjoyable and friendly. Not the best voices, but they made up for it with enthusiasm.

Want to take a short trip to Germany? Spend an evening at Eidelweiss! The food is legit German and the decor certainly puts you in the mood. If you go on a weekend night you'll be entertained by live German-inspired music. Seriously, someone will be playing the accordion and will yodel and will also take requests. Prepare yourself to join in on the fun and do the chicken dance! Ah... good times.

The wait staff dresses in traditional German couture and have been well trained on their beer selection (which is extensive). They have a great selection of German dishes including their signature dish Cordon Bleu which you would expect in a French restaurant but is absolutely delicious. If it's sausage you seek then you're in the right place. They have several sausages that are freshly made and all are delicious. With potato cakes and apple sauce on the side, if you finish a plate you may or may not be able to successfully walk out of the place. Their portions are huge! The spatzle is also delicious but one dish can serve a family of 5 I'm sure.

Forewarning: if you go you have to purchase something. If you don't, they will charge you anyway ($7ish). I had my birthday here once with a large group of friends. Many of them expected to just sit there and scavange off of other people's plates but had a rude awakening when they were warned by our very friendly waitress of the rule. I'm not sure why someone would go to a restaurant and not order food especially at someone's birthday dinner... this rule doesn't bother me one bit!

Storytime! One of my visits to Eidelweiss I went to their Beirgarten (bar) with my mom so she could smoke. We sat at a table and a friendly older fellow was sitting near us. He striked up a conversation and told us that he comes here weekly. His first time was right after some war.(it could have been WWII, this restaurant has been around for a long time). He arrived at the nearby Naval Air Station and was craving German food. He found this place and felt right at home. He's been going there ever since. After hearing his story I fell in love with this restaurant.

I grew up in Germany...army brat....and when we moved to the states we were so excited to find this place.  I have been her many time and usually bring out of town friends and family here....NO MORE!
First they would not let us use our Groupon with the other party that was with us....so we had to sit at completely different tables than the family that came with us ( I was not going to waste a $40 groupon), the service was super slow...out waiter was mopping and cleaning and trying to get his closing duties done,  the food on our sample appitizer was cooked to a crisp and tasted like it had been cooked several hours earlier, when we got our meals...the side were actually cold and the chicken A was flavorless.
All in all...very disappointed and after years of coming here.....I won't be back.....if you are reading this and you know of a great German restaurant in the area please message me and let me know!

Some friends wanted to have dinner at Edelweiss tonight - I was not at all thrilled to drive there, but I read everyone else's reviews here, and decided, "What the hell?" Nearly went off-roading to get there, but every journey has its adventures. :)

First of all, our server, Chris (only on Friday and Saturday nights), was phenomenal. Super-funny, laid back, and knowledgeable of the menu, he made great recommendations and chided us for taking a lifetime to finally try the place. He kept our beer coming when we were ready for it, and didn't rush us with our food. I'll definitely request him in the future.

I gotta say, German food isn't my favorite fare (aside from a grilled brat). The bread was good. The mushrooms were so tasty - but don't expect to taste ranch for the dipping sauce, because it's not and your taste buds will be all confused. The sauce is a vinegar-based cream stuff, and a little goes a long way, so brace yourself when you dive in.

I tried the house dressing on the salad, and it was tasty. It's a light vinaigrette, and not overpowering. I thought the salad itself had a lot of water in it.

For the main meal, I had the goulash. It's kinda like a beef stroganoff, with super-tender beef chunks over egg noodles. I had the mixed vegetables, which were good, but had some cream sauce over them. The portion was HUGE. I took half home so we could have room for dessert.

My group split some German Chocolate cake and an apple strudel. No need to ice cream with the apple strudel - ice cream is too heavy for it, and it comes with cream, It was phenomenal. German chocolate cake was good too - not too sweet.

The band starts playing around 6:30, and it's pretty fun. Polka Elvis? Why not?! Of course, there's always the chicken dance. That was super fun, too. And they sing "Happy Birschday" to the lucky birthday folks, and claim they want to celebrate any event. Of course, with the yodeling songs, all I could envision was the yodeler on The Price is Right...

The atmosphere is super-kitschy. Overall, it was definitely worth the drive - outstanding service, great food, very fun... what a great evening!

Folks listen! Many of you will never know the greatness of this phenomenal "secret" in Cowtown. LISTEN TO ME: get a group of about 8 of your kitschy friends and plan a roadtrip--they'll think it's cool if you promote it properly, since even cool people are still often lemmings.

Anyway, drive your happy @sses waaay over to the whole other side of Foat Wuth, out to the infamous "traffic circle" near Ridgmar Mall but on the south side of 30 (it's 183 & Camp Bowie).

Edelweiss is like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory in that it's such a nondescript and boring looking facade, existing as an unassuming little brick front in kind of a sleazy-looking strip mall. Very hard to navigate here because of the traffic circle assness.

Now on to the actual place: once inside, you will be amazed at the wonderful decades-old German look--the place is huge and has lots of looong tables for big groups, but it can also be kind of a romantic place for a date. There is a dance floor which is well used because the owner, Berndt and his wife(?) Helga are fronting the polka band and they're tons of fun! If you're lucky, you might be there once in a blue moon when they take down the enormous Alpine Horn from it's loft over the bandstand and play a tune on it. Meanwhile, I'll warn you that you're also likely to hear "Happy Birthday" once every 2 minutes, and you'll have to do the Chicken Dance once every 2 minutes, then probably YMCA. These will all feature Helga on her organ, which has a big banner draped across the front of it that says "HELGA". It's just great! Oh, and Helga often plays the saw as well. She's good.

Let me say that these folks are the real deal--not some BS fake stuff. They are such nice and genuine folks and have been in this location for a good 30 years at least!

Beer selection is exactly what you need--authentic German choices, so no worries there.

And now for the FOOD! First, hands-down *best* German food in the Metroplex (beats the crap-O-la out of Bavarian Grill that Dallas thinks is so wonderful). The thing to get here is the Sausage Plate ($13.95), featuring Bratwurst, Knackwurst and/or Weisswurst. While these are top-notch, the real reason to come here is what you get on the side: the unspeakably superb sauerkraut and also the red cabbage AND the potato pancakes will make you glad you brought a change of underwear (in a good way!). Ees good, yah?! YAH! YAH! Undt YUMmy!

Listen, I just can't describe the afore-mentioned sides. They are so good, it's not possible to do them justice with words.
    JUST. GO. THERE.

You might also try the Combination Plate for $19.95, which comes with their delectable Saurbrauten. Beef Rouladen is awesome as well. I have heard that they prepare a steak that is out of this world and I see lots of people getting that every time I visit, but I haven't had it myself. I just can't *not* get the Sausage Plate.

Look here--I wouldn't go to the trouble of writing such an over-the-top review if I didn't mean it. If you don't get out to this place, it would be like depriving yourself of having experienced true love or something in life--you'd likely never know you missed it, but MAN! What you're missing out on is a tragedy!

I really, really love this place.

So the interior looks like it hasn't been revamped since Christmas '76. But really? Fondue with bacon? Be prepared for dinner portions the size of your face.

This is the world of three different kinds of sauerkraut on your plate and waitresses dressed like the St. Pauli girl. Its not the cheapest joint in existence, but try this place at least once. They're only open for dinner, but appreciate, APPRECIATE the dank (but friendly!) interior and live music.

They only get knocked down a star since I'm not really fond of huge slabs of beef- I only eat the chicken dishes on the menu. I'm no carnivore, but even I know that if you're a red-meat lover and you haven't been here, your life is not worth living.

Sort-of-related-trivia: This place is located off of the traffic circle. Driving on that traffic circle was the final exam when I took driver's ed. Consider yourself warned.

    Hmm.

Edelweiss has always been a FW fav or mine... sort of.

It might be because they're the ONLY full German restaurant in town. Haha. But seriously though, they're alright.

    - My main criticisms are: The lack of anything vegetarian to eat (I know it's not they're fault that Germans eat a lot of meat, but still!), the prices, and the kind of depressing 1980s atmosphere inside.

Service is OK. Live entertainment sometimes is a plus. Food is good. Place looks very authentic German.

I'd come back here again eventually.

    I think.........

I have been eating here every thursday since i was about 12. I had to move away and can only go there when I visit my family, but go back I do every chance I get.
So first of all every thing is cooked to order but the best thing on the menu is the steak. It is jucy and well seasoned (but not overly done) you get that nice crunch on the outside with a melty middle. Man its divine. It is a must have! You can get sauteed mushrooms on it if you want even on the side. YUMMY!
Being Expert on the menu let me give you the low down:

    Appetizers:
    Ribs
    Fondu (extra bread needed)

    Meal:
    Sausage Plate (combo plate)
    Cordon Blue
    Spaghetti Edelweiss
    Jagersnitzel
#1 the steak OMG THE STEAK ----- UG no better steak! i love steak!
Ham Shank (HUGE and juicy and flavorful)

    Best Sides
    Spatzel
    Sauerkraut (really good)
    German fried potatoes
    Spinach (yum)

    Dessert:
Brandi Ice (If Caroline or Bernd is there - they make the best Brandi Ice)
Chocolate Heaven (amazing cake for chocolate lovers)

    Drinks
BEER! - amazing selection of german beers!
    WINE!
    ALCOHOL!

Alright, even if the food was there the atmosphere is awesome! LOVE IT! Crazy decorations that always match the holiday, great dresses and outfits for the servers, and a band that plays classic german music with a american twist when asked.
Ask Helga to play the saw... really cool
Everyone must do the chicken dance

    Anyway - i love it

Mmmmm...just thinking about Edelweiss makes me hungry. (insert drool here)

I can't even remember my first visit.  But every time I go it makes me happy.  Bernd and the musicians make for a wonderful evening.  Like said by others, the place has never been updated, but that is part of the charm.

The weinerschnitzel is super, but the real winners in my book is the cabbage and the potato salad.

Go, have a huge beer, dance a few polkas and eat yourself silly!

We have returned to Edelweiss after a two year hiatus (since my last review, which is still here on Yelp) - I'm glad to say some things have changed for the better, but some have not. Here is my review in detail:

    1) I called Edelweiss at 4:10PM to see what their opening hours were. My wife and I got off work, and we were thinking about meeting there. When I called, a seemingly unfriendly male answered the phone with nothing but "Edelweiss", spoken as if he was really tortured that he had to actually pick up the phone.  I said "Yes, I was wondering what time you were open" he said "four". I asked "Is that only the Biergarten, or are you ready to serve food, too?" He said "Food too." I said "Alrighty, thank you very much" and he litterally said "Ung". A sort of "screw you" sounding grunt. He sounded miserable to have answered the phone, and I thought maybe he was some young staff kid.

I found out later, when we got to Edelweiss, that he was one of the new owners. The new owners of Edelweiss also own the Candle Light Inn.

Tip for you sir: You and the other guy should maybe put some smiles on your face. Your in the U.S. and we usually dig good, friendly service. Your running a business, you want to attract people to your establishment, and "Ung" doesn't impress.

    2) The happy hour is new and improved: Beer and mixed drinks are 1/2 off. Yup, a huge liter of beer for $5. That was pretty cool.

    However...

I'm kinda wondering about all the people who give/gave Edelweiss rave reviews because of their beer. You know, you can go to any Majestic and pick up some darned good German beer. As a matter of fact, at Edelweiss, I had a liter Franziskaner Dunkel Weisse. I thought it was kind of flat. After that, I had a liter of Spaten Oktoberfest. I knew that it was kind of flat, too. As a matter of fact, today, I just pulled a fresh bottle of Spaten Oktoberfest out of my fridge, and it's WAY better than what I got on tap at Edelweiss.

I suppose that when one reviews Edelweiss, they review the whole experience. Maybe that's unfair, as I think the music is bad, the beer can be had at any liquor store for a fraction of the price, and the service....

    3) The guy who waited on us, was VERY friendly. Kudos to Edelweiss, you've finally found a good staff member. However...

    4) Bernd (who showed up as we were finishing up and about to leave) still likes to suck up to the big tables, just like two years ago. He said "hello" as he quickly shuffled past our table to reach some table of older folks who must be some kind of regulars or something. I said "Guten Abend" back to him, he said something without even facing me as he was walking away as fast as he could to a group of people he seemed to talk to like they were best friends forever. Maybe they were, but I find it odd that every time my wife and I go in there, he's sucking up to some big table of people, practically sitting in their laps, while totally ignoring everyone else in the building. So, I laid down a smooth $60 bucks that evening, with pretty much a cold shoulder from everyone who OWNS the place. The only friendly guy was the waiter. He was awesome. Man, maybe YOU should open your own restaurant some day?

Again, if your going to attract customers, maybe you should be somewhat friendly to them? There's some politics involved in repeat business.

    5) Food: The food was pretty good, so for that I'll give it three stars. It was definitely better than last time we went. I had the Jaegerschnitzel, which had a fairly mediocre mushroom sauce. The Rotkohl was great, the Spaetzle was good, and the German fried potatoes were good also. Not great, mind you, but good.

My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. I had a bite; it was good, also. Not great, but good. My own home made Chicken Cordon Bleu and Schnitzel is WAAAAY better.

Yeah, you might think I'm a bit snobby. I can live with that. When I pay $20 for a plate of food, I think maybe the food could be better.

Since I've eaten in Germany for 10 years of my life, I KNOW the food can be better.

    So, the story short:

Beer - I can get better cheaper at a liquor store.

Food - I can make better at home. I can get better money's worth at a place like Gloria's (no, they're not German, but it's a price/performance ratio I'm comparing)

    Music - ugh.

No point going back again. Thank you.

If you go, go as a group, so you can have the Dancing Bernd sit with you while you eat your Schnitzel with gravy that came from Knorr.

"Charming and tacky" as Dennis K puts it :D Just gotta love this place!

Great German beer ( i am not a beer person but the beer kicked ass).

Tried the Combo plate with the spatzel, schnitzel,???zel and saurkraut It was tasty, meaty and soo filling!!! The sausage on the plate was to dieee for.

I also had the Turkey Lite.  It was well executed with a nice hint of fried/burnt flavor and it was topped with sauteed onions. I don't know how they cook the onions so well. The texture was just al dente!

Love the accordion player with his bubbly personality and talent. Service was awesome! I left the place with my buttons almost popping out. *satisfied customer* :D

    I effing love Edelweiss.

Not so much for the food.  I mean, it's good for German.  But it's still German.  Similar to most of what you'd find in the Hill Country in places like New Braunfels or Fredericksburg.  It's fun to experiment and maybe good for a change of pace, but it's hardly going to be considered gourmet or even good comfort food.  The best thing I've had there is one of the not-so-German dishes--grilled pork chops.  But if you happen to crave bland sausage or pickled beef or kraut, then you might like the food more than I do.

What I do love is the ambiance, which is best described as "charming" and "tacky."  At the same time.  Once you drive to this place--which is in extreme southwest Ft. Worth close to nothing--and once you get past the fact that it's in a strip mall, you step inside to something that looks like a parody of a German biergarten that you'd find in a movie.

I've only been on weekends, but that's definitely a great time to go.  Take a group.  Drink.  The food is a bit on the pricey side, but remember that you're also paying for the entertainment, which features men in costumes with accordions leading drinking cheers and singing songs about beer and Germany.

"$7.50 cover for non-diners and $5.00 charge for extra plates"

So if I show up with someone who decides there is nothing on the menu that looks good (or they are simply not hungry) and another person who would like to share a dinner with me (extra plate please) they are going to charge an extra TWELVE DOLLLARS and FIFTY cents just for THAT?

    Not happenin, Franz.

Now I can see how this German-American lived in Ft. Worth from 1967-2000, drove by Edelweiss all the time and ate there EXACTLY once.

If I want lots of COLD beer and sausage I will be at Angelo's.

So the background is this, I ventured to this new place on the curve of the earth for my best friend's birthday party.

    FOOD:
The food was good, but the beer was the best. I naturally ordered some crazy beer that had some long German name. It was a dark beer and since I am a fan, I really enjoyed. I ordered the Yaegersnitzel. It was like an awesome chicken fried steak type of dish. Now, the noodle potatoes were good too. They also had a name. I am not a fan of cabbage so I didn't eat that, but for cabbage fans, I hear it was good. The bread kept coming, I love that. I don't need to eat it all, but it was good. The portions are GINORMOUS!  You can share, really.  I mean we also tried some of the fondue, and it fed like 8 of us.  It was so big.  So get a doggie bag for sure.

    SERVICE:
This is where they exceed. I made reservations for 15, but like 19 showed up, which with a place packed like that on a Saturday night, I thought I was going to have a slight heart attack. HOWEVER, the owner, a nice German lady, found a 4 top table for my extra guests and all was a good time. She saved me. I tipped her well.

    ATMOSPHERE:
It's like Liberace meets Germany. That's the best way I can explain it. There are crazy decorations everywhere. There are lights, stars and all kinds of other krap hanging from the ceiling. The accordion player sings happy birthday and there is great polka music. It's definitely an experience to have. I liked this place, because it was different, and it had reservations, which I find hard to find these days.

    Overall, fun place.

I'm giving extra points for the GIANT beers!!  My bestie and I hit this place before a girl's night a few weeks ago.  She had been raving about it and I needed to see what all the fuss was about seeing as I've lived here all my life and never been in.  We sat at the bar and order beer and food.  Again the beers are HUGE!  And GOOD!  I ordered the snitzle with the mushrooms and it was a winner.  Things were kind of just thrown on the plate but I'm not a picky pants about that kind of thing really.  All the servers seems tired but again we were sitting at the bar so it was not a big deal to us.  It bothers me to see servers deliver meals in a harried, freak out mode.  I'd go back again but not on a Friday night.

I found Edelweiss to be simply awsome.  I am in the military and lived next to this place for over two and a half years and never knew it existed.  Based on your yelps I ate the sausage plate and the wonderful Dunken Weiss ale.  The smallest glass of this wonderful ale brought by jesus himself was still big.  I had to quit  my plans for the rest of the day and go home and digest my food.  If you got the money I would still order the steak it looked amazing from a far:-(  The only recommendation I would have for this place is to repaint this place so you can see it from the ever confusing round-about right infront.

The food's not all fabulous. Stick with the bratwurst.  And there was a sausage and potato soup that turned out to be pretty awesome (if a little bit cold). The atmosphere is what this place has going for it.  We had a great time with live accordion music, a full bar, and a really friendly bartender.  There are some happy hour specials to look for too.

Well, at least the food was good.  But the service wasn't even slow, it was slower than slow. At one point our server even forgot about us. It was obvious we weren't the only table with troubles as others seemed openly annoyed. They were also out of milk and creamed spinach. The only saving grace was a free pitcher of beer for the slowness. I've been there before and had a better experience than this last time, but I can't see it lasting if this is now the level of service they offer. I'm not sure I'll go back anytime soon.

I have a mortal fear of The Chicken Dance, I guess from my youth when it seemed that the owner insisted that children (or surly teenagers) rise up and do the dance.

For that reason my wife and I usually go to Edelweiss German Restaurant early in the evening, prior to the music and such.

However, recently we did go on a Saturday night and, to tell the truth, I enjoyed watching Bernd (Mine Host) performing. He did not make anyone dance. I believe I may have even danced (as noted elsewhere in these reviews, the German beer is mighty good).

Edelweiss has been a Fort Worth fixture since 1967, and will, I guess, go on until Bernd has Chicken Danced his way to the Beirgarten in the Sky. By the way, his wife's name is not Helga (as another review keeps insisting).

Edelweiss has a huge menu. My wife's favorite has long been the Jaeger Schnitzel with extra spatzle (which is especially good). I have had various items over the years, with my favorite, I guess, being the sausage plate with those wonderful German Fried Potatoes. I also have enjoyed the Goulash and the Cordon Blue. I care little for the huge salad they insist on serving prior to the entrée. I have never tried the steak, cheeseburger or hot dogs.

Service is usually reliable. Like all places there can be slip ups, but not often enough to cause undue frustration to regulars like myself. During a weekend night it can get very, very crowded and noisy, which can cause some problem in communicating with the waitress. Be prepared to yell.

If you are a new-comer to Fort Worth, you really do owe it to yourself to get to Edelweiss before Bernd does his last dance. If you are a visitor staying on the west side of Fort Worth, it can make for a fun evening.

I think it really depends on your personality whether Edelweiss will be a hit or a miss. As for my friends and I, we loved it! Judging by the success of the restaurant over several decades, we are not alone in our adoration of this kitschy German tavern. What's not to like? It's a German themed eatery with good beer on tap, hearty traditional German food, and live entertainment! The folks at Edelweiss will make you feel like family and you are guaranteed to have fun! I recommend the fried mushrooms. Go easy on the first dip of the white sauce... that's no ranch. Its horseradish and it packs a punch if you aren't ready for it! The only bad thing about Edelweiss is that it's a tad pricy. The worst part is it made me want to go back to visit Germany, and that's a little more expensive than the knockwurst!

German food is terrible for you , so we try to avoid it, maybe 3 times a year. Great family atmosphere. Music is cheesey in a kind of cool way. Bernd (the owner) is a great guy. Food is delicious, especially the fondue and Jagerschnitzle. Go later is a but more boisterious.

A friend of ours suggested we try this place out to celebrate her husband's birthday. I had heard of it before but had never been. I mentioned this to another friend and she said she'd enjoyed the place before so I was looking forward to it. Our first clue that something was wrong was when we walked in the door. It was 7pm on a Thursday night (April 21, 2011), which is prime dinner rush time. From the looks of the dining area the rush had rushed away. There was only one other table seated and they left fairly quickly after we arrived. Our concerns were only compounded when we were led to a table and our shoes were sticking to the floor. Our waitress was seemingly on edge and clearly not interested in being there that night. She took our order without writing it down, always a concern, and then of course got it wrong. We never did see the appetizer we ordered, and my friend's drink was wrong. Speaking of the drinks, I ordered a "sweet tea" which turned out to be tea colored (the only attribute it shared with any sweet tea I'd ever had before) syrup of some flavor I could not immediately identify. My friend's "coke", once it arrived, tasted like mud. The food was mediocre at best and certainly did not justify the exorbitant menu prices. The atmosphere was dingey and dark (probably the dim lighting was on purpose so you didn't notice how filthy the place was). We placed a dessert order, which apparently flustered the waitress who proceeded to dump a mostly full glass of soda all over my husband's leftover food (which we intended to box up for those prices) not to mention his lap. She had us move to another table, (why not? there was nobody else in the entire restuarant at that point) and brought out our dessert order. Which was the only thing memorable about the food as it was actually quite good. We had to go back to the bar area to pay (since we were using credit cards) and I immediately noticed a foul odor coming from the bar area where the bartender was wiping down. Either he had just mopped or the towel he was using had been in the mop bucket which clearly had not been emptied and rinsed out in ages and smelled quite sour. The waitress did comp my husband's dessert order, which was the only customer service points I give this place. DO NOT eat here. Between the sticky floor, dingey atmosphere, and sour smell in the bar area I'm quite frankly shocked we didn't all come down with food poisoning. There has got to be a better German restaurant in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Locate it and go there instead.
