Review from Eric E.
Forney, TX
This place is great! When we have family in town and we want to take them to a "non-chain" dinner, we hit up Napoli's. It's great!
Wife and I have been for several "date nights" as well. Great place!
They have a great food, large portions, at a great price. -

I have eaten here several times, meeting a group of friends once a month and I think I am done. I have been here about 4 times and EVERY time the service is horrible and the portions just get smaller.
Tonight it took 30 min to be acknowledged and get our drink order. It took an hour and half to get our food. I served the salads because someone brought the salads out to a table next to us and walked away. We waited about 5 min til I decided unless one of us waited on the table, we were not going to get our salads. The waitress walked by as I was doing this and said "you got that ok?" I mean REALLY?
Another person in our party wanted a frozen margarita but our waitress told us that the owner took THE blender to his new place he is opening up. Ridiculous. I love the gals I meet up with but the time spent sitting and getting aggravated is wasteful. -

3.5 Good for the price. The waiter was too friendly with my daughter and spent way too much time flirting than taking care of our table.
The atmosphere is plain and clean. It is downtown Forney and you do not have to wait to be seated. They can accommodate large parties. It is one of the better places to eat in Forney. -

Very friendly. There's 2 areas dining room and a bar with several flat screens and tables. All meals come with free garlic rolls. Had the eggplant rolatini covered in lots of cheese and stuffed with cheese. Delish.

OK, this may not really be a fair review.... the food is FANTASTIC but it is something else that causes me to rate it 1 "eek! methinks not." We raved to friends about this place and finally they came out to Forney and we went to dinner..... well, while we were waiting on our food, Robbie the Roach came crawling up from our booth up the wall. YUCKKO!!!!! And embarrassing! Haven't been back. The new Italian restaurant across Hwy 80, Toscana, is excellent and a LOT friendlier and cleaner!!!

Having eaten here a few times and having tried several different meals I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food is always excellent; nothing pretentious, just good, Italian fare. The wait staff is made up of local high school/college kids so the service can be hit or miss depending on the night but usually it's good. The atmosphere is laid back and casual and there are two flat screen t.v.s that are usually showing whatever Dallas sports team is playing that evening. Bottom line: when I'm in the mood to go out to eat but can't make up my mind about what I want I go to Napoli's because I know I wont be disappointed.
