I'm back and forth on Eddie's.
Yay:
- They have a pretty good selection of vegetarian things for such a small store
- They have some unusual selections, certainly some things you won't even find at the surrounding larger supermarkets (like imported European foods that are delicious)
- They are almost obnoxiously friendly and personable (I'm not sure if that's a plus or a minus, actually)
- They make some killer sandwiches in the back! Really, they're amazing. (Much better than their prepared pasta salads in the deli section. Trust me, they're not as good as they look)
Minuses:
- A big no-no to the salad bar. Nothing there is fresh or worth its money.
- A big no-no, also, to the entire produce selection. Always a disappointment. Even the things that look good end up tasting like nothing.
- And at last, it's just too expensive.
extremely convenient if you live at the Hopkins part of Charles Village. The deli offers some very yummy sandwiches, esp for hangovers, aside from that, they have everything you need from a small grocery store.
