Same thing, only outside of the District. Where else are you going to go for a basket of steaming hot fried shrimp or fried chicken. Eddies is more of a late night indulgence more than anything, and from old town, you can get there in 10-15 minutes.
While you're there, stop across the street and wash your car at the closest do-it-yourself car wash to northern VA. I've searched and searched, and that's the closest to DC.
