Great place for the little ones - though kind of pricey.
Trains & rides, with a large sandy playground & huge vehicles for them to climb around in: fire truck, bull-dozer, etc.

If you're going there from Boston, you MUST stop by Heidi's ice cream store [Heidi's Hollow Farms], along the way - sooooo goooood.

FROM BOSTON - Take Route 3 south to exit 7 (Route 44) Follow Route 44 west 6.5 miles to the exit for Route 58 - Carver. Turn left (south) on Route 58 for 8 miles to Rochester Road. Turn right on Rochester Road, and follow for 1 mile to Pine Street. Turn right on Pine Street. The Edaville's parking lot is 500 feet ahead on the right.

The first time I ever came here, was when I was 2, in 1990. Since then, the place has had some problems, but it has overcome them, and is like a phoenix rising from the ashes. The second time I visited, was in 2002. They've shortened the train ride. It used to go all the way around Atwood Reservoir, but it does not anymore, due to fuel costs. On site, is Cranberry world. This is a museum devoted to the cranberry.
