I LOVE Dr Jen. I had to get some cavities filled. Dr Jen has a cool TV on her ceiling. I watched movies while I had my cavities filled. I didn't even feel the novacaine injection I got and the laughing gas totally helped.

I won't have issues about going to the dentist like mommy does. She said I was totally relaxed and good during the whole procedure. And at the end, I got to pick a prize in Dr Jen's basket.

WAY COOL!

After reading Karen F's review for Dr Jen, I made an appointment for lil guy to have his teeth checked. I had seen some dark spots and was worried that they were cavities.

Dr Jen took shots of lil guy's teeth and explained to me that indeed he had cavities, but they've been there for about 2 years now. These were big cavities and now, he will need crowns for 2 of them and fillings for the other 2. I was shocked and dumbfounded. We had taken lil guy to regular dentist appointments yet, no other dentist had given us any inkling regarding this.

Dr Jen also spent a lot of time explaining to me what the procedure would be and of course, we as parents make the final decision. She was excellent with lil guy, not that lil guy is really all that nervous about going to the dentist, but her office has a TV mounted up with the latest DVDs playing and each chair has stuffed toys so nervous kids can hug them if they get scared.

Everyone in this office made our visit so much more pleasant, especially for me because not only am I a nervous wreck at a dentist's office, but I was also faced with such awful news of lil guy's teeth.

I wish all dentists were this thorough and takes the time to sit down and give you all the information available to you. Dr Jen specializes in kids and teens' dentistry and I highly recommend her if you have nervous kids, or if you're a nervous parent yourself.

If you have dental insurance -- great! If not, then Dr Jen's office will work out a payment plan which best suits you so you don't become overwhelmed should your child(ren) need a lot of work done.

5 stars PLUS!

UPDATE 05-02-07: Lil guy got the first 2 of his cavities filled. Dr Jen was so awesome he didn't even flinch throughout the whole hour and half procedure until towards the end when he got tired. I think I was more traumatized that he was.

I LOVE DR. JEN!!!  After putting off taking my children to the dentist for way too long, I found Dr. Jen through a friend.  She was so kind and patient. She helped the boys through a nervous visit, explained clearly what they needed and arranged to take care of it quickly!  The work was the easiest part(for them, not me).  All the black spots are gone, their breath smells much better.  Gross, I know.
