My mission for my first visit at EatZis was to simply grab some of their hummus I have been hearing amazing things about but I somehow ended up with a basket full of goodies and spending $36. Allow me to explain further.

Right when I walked in through the automatic sliding doors and was greeted with vibrant opera music and an amazing aroma from the bread section, I knew that I had hit a find. I don't know how this tiny place manages to hold so much food but it does. There's a bakery, grill section, salad/sandwhich bar, prepped sushi and soups in a corner, wines and cheeses in another and a large round section smack dab in the middle of the store with an assortment of meals.

After making about 4 trips around the market I managed to settle on a salami ham and avocado pannini ($6.95), a bowl of creamy tomato basil soup ($4.95), a french baguette cut up ($2.95), curry chicken pasta ($7.95), pesto hummus ($3.95) and a small tray of Mexican cookies ($5.95). What can I say, I have an appetite to scare away even the fattest of wallets.

Okay so the hummus is PRETTY amazing, it's not too runny or dry and I loved the mix of pesto sauce in there. I am going to come back and try the sun dried tomato version. The next yummy ticket in my basket was actually the pannini. The bread was buttered just right and I loved the spread that was used. EatZis made sure to give me my $6 worth because this baby was long and stacked high! I had enough for a satisfying lunch the next day. The soup and curry pasta however was more on the "OK" end. I wasn't blown away and could have bought something similar at walmart (heaven forbid things would ever come down to this) for 1/2 the price. I can't comment too much on the Mexican cookies because I'm sick and wasn't supposed to have any but between just you and me their delicious! Let's not say anything to the boyfriend about how I sneaked in one of these crumble in your mouth babies on my way to work in a paper towel this morning.

Perhaps, I'm alone in rating eatZi's with three stars, but I'm just an "A-OK" fan. The concept of À la carte is great especially when you pair it with handmade, freshly prepared food. But, I guess where I get turned off is I never seem to find something that takes my taste buds for a good spin.

Generally pricey depending on what and how much you get, but if you're looking for a place where you can buy hummus in bulk, here's your place.

I would actually take it up a star for their bread selection. As soon as you walk in you smell the sweetness of bread mixing with their bakery, which makes it rather hard to resist buying the four-cheese bread just because.

I love Eatzi's for so many things.  Mainly I love the freshness of their food.  I also like the feel of it because it reminds me of a NY food market or cafe and I love anything NY.

For a while the Southwest Chicken salad was my favorite and I still highly recommend it to everyone.  The make it as you go salad and sandwich bar in the back is great because you don't have to settle for the pre-made ones in the container that you normally have to get in the grocery stores.  In the past I've eaten the roasted chicken from the grill area on the side and it was wonderful as well.

I have yet to get anything at Eatzi's that wasn't good and didn't make me want to return very soon.  All of their food have some kind of guilt free spell over them, including the deserts which is probably why I usually get a desert along with my food when I'm there.

Two perks I've thoroughly enjoyed...the half off deal that happens every night after 9.  It is such a good deal and the best time to buy if you plan to do some serious shopping.  Second, I normally like to start out my year with a month long fast.  I was told chicken broth was a great thing to keep energy up but you have to be very careful about the ingredients.  I was in Eatzi one night looking for a broth when the chef, Micheal, offered to make me a container of pure chicken broth.  The broth was beautiful and clear....oh and delicious.  If it hadn't already been one of my favorite places this would have pushed it over the top.  I love Eatzi's and more than recommend it to everyone!!

Goodbye Central Market, Hello EatZi's!! I went here for the first time yesterday. At first I was a little overwhelmed by the cramped spaces and massive amount of people. Customers and employees buzzing all around yelling 'Excuse Me! or 'Behind You!'. It made me feel like I had been transported to NYC.

I was starving and I couldn't decide between the awesome looking pasta bowls, the fresh sandwich line, the salad area, or the many options at the grill. I walked around the store several times before making a decision. Sandwich line.

I get a turkey pastrami sandwich on a baguette. The sandwich chef loads it up with my favorite veggies and spreads. There were so many awesome spreads I couldn't decide between the sundried tomato, the horseradish mayo, or the fabulous mustard choices. My boyfriend opts for the chicken salad sandwich on bone bread. I get some mango iced tea and we head to the patio.

This sandwich is so fresh, it tastes amazing!! From the bread, to the freshly shaved meat, to the iced tea, I just couldn't get enough of this awesome lunch. I sampled my bf's chicken salad sandwich. Normally, I'm not a chicken salad fan but man!! This chicken salad will knock your socks off!

After we finished eating we heading back inside to grab a few other goodies. We got some chocolate chip cookies and a salami and cheese platter. Overall, a lot of the stuff is a little pricey. The thing you have to think about is the amazing quality of these ingredients. For our two sandwiches and drinks it was 20 bucks. That might seem like a lot but the sandwiches were HUGE and they were just so tasty, I didn't mind shelling out the extra dough. The cookies were soft and perfect.

Everyone always talks about how amazing EatZi's pizza is. I had a sample but it didn't blow me away or anything. Maybe I need to eat a full serving to understand how rad it actually is.

There is a good selection of wine here. They will uncork it for you and give you glasses so you can enjoy it on site. Can't finish the whole bottle? Don't worry! They re-cork it for you and wrap it up for the trip home. There is also a pretty good selection of loose beers and you can make your own 6 pack.

Overall, amazing food. Great takeout dinners and lunch. They serve breakfast here but I didn't get the opportunity to feast my eyes on it. Good wine. Good bakery. Good....everything. I wish this place was closer to my house. I would never eat anywhere else.

About as great as you can get. I normally get the roast beef on wheat or muti grain. The bone bread is good but a bit chewy for me. They have a wonderful lasagna that is so good and only gets better a day later. The pastry's the pizza is a good late night snack.  I sneak over here sometimes for lunch if I catch the time. Its a bit of a trek from North Dallas just for lunch but the fact is this place has always served the best food, fruit and take home food Ive been around in some time.

Parking can be tricky lunch but if you get there before 1130am, or after 1pm there is always a spot, also there is over flow parking on the side of the building with a short walk.  They also have a selection of artisan waters, and salads, pre made meals and do wonderful catering.

Not much to say about eatZi's that hasn't already been said.  I love the atmosphere here.  We always end up getting a couple sides here for weekend cookouts...the pasta's and potatoe salads are wonderful.

I highly recommend trying it out for breakfast as well..  Their omelette's are huge and very good...we had 2 omelettes, 2 full orders of the potatoes and 2 bottles of watter for $16...not bad at all.  I keep reading that everything is expensive, and I'd imagine everything else probably is...but it all looks to be well worth it.

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said...

Yes Yes, the salad bar is amazing.
The free samples are always a plus.
Wine selection is outrageous, truly, truly, truly outrageous.
Sushi.  Enough said.
Pasta bar.  Meatballs?  Can I take that by an I.V.?
Sandwiches as big as your face? Get out of town!

The only thing that is truly a buzzkill, is the parking.  I have actually resorted to only going before 11am or after 2pm.  Like I said...Allison doesn't do crowds. But I sure do heart Eatzi's.

If you don't...try again and keep trying.  Cause ain't nuthin bad herre. Check it.

Opera music, gourmet food, and eye candy.  Go for the senses, samples and take home.  The outdoor seating has evolved although there never seems to be enough places to sit.  I am a seasoned eatZi's patron for over 10 years, I don't think I have ever gone when it is not crowded.  I often make a special trip just for the brownies.  When I pick up dinner, I always get the salad made with the freshest greens, all the toppings with delicious cajun chicken.  The sandwich and salad line sometimes gets a little confusing for the uninitiated.  There is a great selection of wine both still and sparkling.  I like that Lee Park is a short block away if there is no place to sit.

New York vibe.  Small space with speciality items and people in a hurry. Opera is always playing in the background.

Made to order sandwiches and salads are a quick satisfying meal.  The sandwiches seem to be a huge bargain.

Pluses:  some good to go food, sandwiches are the deal here.   Mix and match import beer 6 packs for $8.99.  Mini cheese trays make a good snack.   They serve breakfast.  Good coffee.  Patio.  Samples.

Negatives:  Desserts havn't really impressed me.  Over all food selection is limited and random.  Havn't figured out how to order from the hot bar menu.    Cold drinks are expensive.  Not an obvious vegetarian offering.

Overall : definitely worth checking out.

Heaven in the form of a take-out gourmet grocery store. No need to really elaborate beyond that.

Samples abound every way you turn, delicious bread and cookies that could easily make me regain the college "freshman 15," salad bar-chefs who know how to work magic and fit an incredibly large amount of tossed salad into a small plastic to-go container, and the sundried tomato spread on their sandwiches easily deserves a special feature on Food Network.

I go to eatZi's more than I go to the grocery store, or my parents...at the VERY LEAST...twice a week. Sure, sometimes it's a splurge, but its sooooo worth it. I love the 'make your own pasta' bar, ready made sandwiches (although I think they should drop the price a dollar...$6.50?), and the brownies (OMG...take one. enjoy it..thank me later...my favorite is the heath bar brownie...)

The ready-made items in the back are great for when I get off work and totally don't feel like cooking. If you're on a budget squeeze, go with a kids meal. They fill me up and are usually $4.25. I don't even think you could get that at McDonald's these days. Oh and don't forget 2-for-1 deals after 9PM!! Everything with a red sticker applies...definately a great way to get dinner and lunch for the next day CHEAP.

I do believe they have the best tasting salads around. I really like the layout at this location, seem like a nice little local style marketplace. Great place to shop and eat durning the summer months. They have good shaded seating area outside. Nice variety in foods also, and decent wine selection.

I wish they would open one up in the Plano/Allen area soon.

The Corn Bread is AWESOME!!! A Must!! Taste like dessert... Love the sweetness and the consistency.

I love this market, pretty classy or up scale... and have a big selection of cheese and decent selection of wine.

I was a tourist in Dallas and I was pretty impressive with this market.

The stuff pretty helpful

The price is pricey but I'm not surprise....

I keep trying to make eatZi's work, make it worth the $9 I pay for an over-dressed, soggy salad, but it just keeps letting me down.

The ambiance is epic, you feel alive walking in to eatZi's, bombarded with opera music, beautiful smells, the sounds of cooking. But the sticker shock for mediocre food leaves you wishing you had gone to Whole Foods or Central Market.

I am sure the hot dog is good but the last time I was there they were conveniently out.  (It's $3.95, the cheapest meal they have.)

Go if you want to say you ate at eatZi's and feel like you didn't get your hard earned dollar's worth.

Not sure what EatZi's offers that Central Market or Whole Foods doesn't for about the same scratch and a better selection, but I will say the atmosphere is cool, and it's certainly a place to be seen.
I wouldn't try to impress anyone with a full catered meal from here, but if you get the call that the mother-in-law just stopped by and there's no food at the crib, it'll certainly do.

All right, so this place is very similar to the already made food section at whole foods.  There are differences like whole foods makes pizzas, there are more hot foods to choose from like soup or whatever, but they are pretty much the same.  The made salads and dishes seem identical in the stores.  So if you like whole foods, you'll like this place.  The quality is high along with the prices.

Pros:  The sandwiches are the bomb.  You can pick between 3 inches or 6 inches.  3 inches sounds small, but it's really not 3 inches.  It's actually a normal sandwich that fills you up.  The best part about the sandwiches are the spreads.  There's so many to pick from, it's great.

The staff is great.  They're not cheap with portions.  Everyone is very friendly.  The customers can be a kind of annoying though.

They have deserts in plastic containers which are awesome.  I had a chocolate mouse cake, so good.

Cons:  Prices, prices, prices.  It's like you're paying for a sitdown meal, but there isn't a waiter serving you.

My advice is to come here once in a while.  Unless you can poop money, that is.  Then you should come here all the time!

Isn't there always somthing or someplace that when you're sick or feeling down, this will be what will help to make you start feeling better?  I know it sounds strange that a market could be that place for me, but it is.

Eatzi's always has a lot of hustle and bustle going on.......lots of chefs....and lots of patrons.....Right off the bat I'm greeted by the classical music that makes my heart start to melt just a little.  As I walk in the doors I always immediately take a right so as to grab a couple pieses of whatever bread or baguette is being sampled and then to let my eyes dance over the gorgeous desserts.  I will be back to pick one out in a few.

Then begins the long slow waltz through the market.  Samples of anything and everything along each corner.  Am I in the mood for a prepared meal?  Sushi?  Pizza?  Salad?  Sandwich?  A cheese board?  Typically, I tend to stick with the hot food bar.  A quartered roast chicken and two sides.......and yes, one of the sides is always mac and cheese.  There is something so addictive about their mac and cheese.  I literally stop there sometimes and run in just to get a side of the mac and cheese.

Another bonus- Eatzi's is one of the only places in my neighborhood that sells Martinelli's sparking apple juice.  I know it's silly- but i'm a kid at heart and I love that sparkling apple juice!

You can't go wrong with Eatzi's.  I've been going there for 10 years and honestly never had a bad meal there.  Plus, the music just makes my heart melt.

I basically live down the street from this place, and it is so nice to have automatic options when you don't feel like cooking at home.

Between the grill, sandwich bar, salad bar, dessert section, and ready-made foods, you're guaranteed to find something that suits your fancy.  My favorite part about going to EatZi's, though, is the omnipresence of samples.  I like circling around the place pretending to be looking for something I want, while I'm helping myself to the third piece of baguette with crab boz.  You could probably get a satisfying meal just by doing this, and not spend a penny.

However, since this is only appropriate if you're homeless, I would suggest trying the flank steak and gorgonzola panini at the grill, or one of the artisan breads with a delicious boz.  Throw in a Lorina Blueberry Lemonade and it's paradise.

Think David Berkeley (Sacramento) meets Woodlands Market (Marin). A wide variety of gourmet food selections, including cheeses, made to order salads, baked goods, and produce. Their sandwich bar was packed, so I opted for a chicken parm on ciabatta from their grill section (which also had flank steak, roasted chicken, and roast beef among other delights). The ciabatta was smattered with a lemon aioli and the the warm breaded chicken lay on a piece of arugula. The flavors played nicely together.

Next time I'm in the 9th largest city in the US, I'll make a pit-stop at Eatzi's.

Unsanitary conditions made me sick, literally, and the salad bar at Eatzi's is a prime example of uncleanliness. Uck.  I watched in horror as a salad bar employee made my salad, wiped salad dressing off the bar with a shiny, toxic looking rag, then used that same rag to "clean off" my salad container.

How many other types of dressing had that rag sopped up before it was rubbed onto my salad container? How old was the dressing on that rag? Old enough that it had gone bad? What about the evil mushrooms that the rag knocked off the bar? How many of those nasty things had it touched? Doesn't it ever fall on the floor? How often do those employees change their rubber gloves? The same gloves that grab the bacteria-ridden rag and wipe the counter off, then reach inside the lettuce bins and grab my lettuce. Bacteria.Germs. Nastiness.

The last few times I've had a salad from Eatzi's, I've gotten a tummy ache, and it's no wonder why. They need to find a solution to that disgusting, bacteria rag they use.

Other than the unsanitary salad bar, the food is pretty good and doesn't invoke a stomach ache. It is on the expensive side though. I recommend walking around the store and eating their free samples, repeatedly, in order to fill up. There is a germ factor involved there as well, so do that at your own risk.

Stay away from the salad bar and expect to pay top dollar and you will be OK.

This convenient Market Bakery, has its stars.. From deli you can choose what you want for lunch, and they have specals everyday.
Of course the charming getleman who served me make it more pleasant as he was smiling all time and making eye contact which made me wanted to order the whole counter..LOL.

Anyway, they have the best fresh made sandwich and you make your own sandwich. Just tell them what you want in it and they will make it for you.

Nice selections, of fresh fruits too. Worth a try for those visiting Dallas.

Oh Sandwich master station...you prepared my sandwich like it was a new born babe. The avocado was sliced so delicately and the chicken was sliced with just the right thickness. The bread, so fresh, and the dressing spread so it touched every nook and crannie.

My favorite high end deli - and it's just a block from home.

The place is set up in a big square/circle. As you come in the front door you are greeted with the smell of warm fresh baked bread that are coming out of the oven on conveyors. Hang a right and there are pastries. From chocolate dipped strawberries, to red velvet slices to fresh made cookies in clear cellophane. Keep going and there are fresh fruits and vegetables, sushi in the corner and then a deli case in the back. Around the center is a deli case of sides and main dishes. I remember the asparagus and the marinated roast slices. In the back are elegant cheeses that I can't remember the names of. There is a salad bar and a sandwich bar - both with high quality and perfectly seasoned dishes. Heading back to the front is a warm counter where I remember pizza and other heated dishes. Grab a soda or water on the way out and either eat on the outside patio or you'll be a big hit at home.

What I like most about Eatzies is that everything is fresh and when I don't have time to sit down and eat, I know there is beautiful food just a stop a way.

Lastly, I am told that when the flashing light on the front facade is turned on, everything is half off. That way they can clear out today's delicacies and provide another stunning show tomorrow.

I heard from several people and read online on the websites of numerous magazines that if you go to Eatzi's after 9 p.m., all the prepared foods are half off.  This is not true, and I only realized when I paid for $20 worth of picnic food for dinner.  I'm downgrading Eatzi's for allowing this myth to be spread all over the internet.

Let's take a brief trip through the history of civilization.

2000 BC:  The Egyptians are at the peak of human technology and culture.

0 BC:  Current God is invented

1492 AD: Columbus sailed the ocean blue

1776 AD: Our colony rebels against the biggest empire in the world  -- vows never to let any other country do what we did.

1996 AD: Eatzi's is invented.  Humanity marvels at how far it has come.

What a novel concept -- a restaurant that thinks it's a grocery store.  Gourmet food items are available by the pound for you to take home so that you can avoid the worst part about restaurants -- all those pesky strangers sitting around you.  Of course, there will be pesky strangers here too -- in fact, it's usually pretty crowded -- but at least you can dine in the privacy of your studio apartment while watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force and surfing the Myspace.

Just another fun Friday night for you!

My favorite items are as follows.  First and foremost, no visit to Eatzi's is complete without stocking up on their shrimp salad.  They keep it right up front because I'm sure it's a favorite with everybody.  I love their mashed potatoes over by their grill -- as well as their mac n cheese.  Any meat you get there will be top notch -- meatloaf, turkey, Mediterranean-style filet or salmon.  Sure, it all needs reheating (except in the grill section, where everything is served piping hot), but trust me, it's better than what YOU would cook, ya Ramen Noodle-eating bastard.

They have a tasty assortment of dips, crackers and cheeses, as well as a nice selection of good quality, affordable wines (between $10 and $30).  I agree with my sister's review on Eatzi's (Stephanie S. in Austin) -- the hummus is amazing.  There isn't a better hummus to be had in Dallas.    At any given point you can sample just about anything.  All you have to do is ask!

They have ready-to-cook entrees as well if you can't deal with reheating (or just eating cold like I do).  Also in that section is fresh sushi -- but it's not anything special.  On the right side of the store there is a fresh produce section where I find the best fruits and berries this town has to offer.  They also have unpasteurized fresh OJ, which is a must for me.

Eatzi's is also a great place to stop on your way to a date.  They have nice, fresh flowers and those little half bottles of wine that say,  "Hey I might be trying to get you drunk enough to sleep with me, but at least you'll remember the choice you made in the morning."

You are SUCH a gentleman.

It's also a fun place to come ON a date.  It shows a young lady that your palette knows more about dining than just the late-night menu at Wendy's, and that you're affluent enough to spend a small electricity bill's worth of money on a small basket of items -- plus wine.

And ultimately, that is the only downside.  Eatzi's can get pretty expensive.  Sure, you can shop smart and probably walk out with a basket full of things for under $50, but I find it hard to leave there without spending almost $100.  Don't believe their hype about eating gourmet without spending restaurant prices.  They will get you one way or the other.

BOTTOM LINE:
I'm there every week, maybe twice a week.  It's my biggest guilty pleasure and I love every minute of it.  5 stars and a place on my "best of."

All this chatter about Eatzi's on Yelp made me update. I recently went back to Eatzi's and yes, it's expensive. We all know this but if you know what to buy, you can few key gourmet thing and not spend too much. The trick is what you buy. I spent $20 dollars on a panini, a red velvet cupcake, and bottle of D and I's favorite wine- DaVinci Chianti. DaVinci chianti usually runs around $15-$17 a bottle. I was VERY surprised to find it at Eatzi's for $10.99. I swooped that up and cradled it around the store like a mama with her baby. (Hm, that makes me sound bad, doesn't it?) So from now, it's my go-to place for that. Another surprise: I didn't know I could sub out my chips on my panini plate for something BETTER  like those green beans almondine or mac and cheese or those red skinned mashed potatoes. In that case, that $7 plate is so worth it. Eatzi's, I'm STILL going on nom nom.

There are few places I'd say would influence where I live.  Eatzi's is one of those places that would play a factor if I ever had to make that decision.  The selection and quality of their food is second to none.

I could (and would) eat, grocery shop, and mill around Eatzi's all day if I had the chance.  The fresh bread, the gourmet sandwiches, the rotisserie chicken, the drool-worthy mac and cheese, and the wonderful samples are just some of the things that make this place so fun!  You can always count on the classy staff too...from carefully crafting that custom sandwich to giving you a big smile at checkout.

Aside from the friends I left in Dallas, I miss Eatzi's the most!

Its good for what it is but I didn't see anything radically different or special about this place versus a Central Market. Well....they do assault you with opera music as soon as you step out of you car which gets to be a little annoying after waiting in line 15 minutes for a salad. The only reason to bother with the sandwiches are the "Bone Bread" and the spreads, aside from the prosciutto and capicola you could find everything else at your local Subway with more germ cultures added free of charge.

Pre-made dinners were always good but again, nothing you can't get at Central Market. I live a few blocks away so its convenient but I wouldn't drive out of my way for anything in this store. They did have a good selection of olive oils but why pay super prices when you have a Whole Foods just blocks down Lemmon.

Again, its good for what it is but nothing you haven't seen before.

MILFS GALORE!!!

Besides hot moms this place has good lunches and sides. This was ranked higher for me before Central Market came to town but this place still holds up. Good samiches, but stay away from "bone" bread its gonna cut your mouth up.

Take the 'made to order food' section, bakery, and sandwich shop of a Central Market Grocery Store...cram it all into a smaller space with a small outside seating area, and you've got eatZi's Market and Bakery - a top-notch lunch or breakfast joint that I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for an immediate culinary orgasm as soon as you walk in the door.
After driving by this place a couple of times since I've lived here, a few friends convinced us to check it out this morning and it was absolutely worth it.  I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on some of their homemade bread and it was outstanding.  Note - their sandwich sizes are deceiving - a 3-inch at eatZis is probably the equivelant of a 6-inch at Subway.  Lots of chips, unique items (like Chicken beignet on a stick!), and truly outstanding desserts (red velvet cupcakes!) to pick from to complement your fresh sandwich, salad, wine or beer, and other available ready-made meals.  Since this place is like a mini-high-end supermarket, you have a ridiculous range of food options.  Also lots of nice free bread samples available too.  After you soak it all in and finally decide on something, just walk up to the counter of wherever you want to order, you pay at any cash register, and go seat yourself.
Warning - seating is limited here and is mainly outside.  Also, sure, this place is a little pricey, but you get your moneys worth - promise!  And yes, the crowd here seemed kind of douchy...just ignore that, along with the Opera music being blasted throughout the place and you'll be fine!

I came for the first time to pick up some ready to eat meals for a friday night. Upon opening the door, I was hit with a huge wall of "freshly baking bread" aroma....and i swooned!!

Everything there looked amazing - kobe beef meatloaf? Yes please! A slice of key lime pie? Ok! Everything at the bakery looked amazing and delicious and i wanted to just sweep everything on the shelf into my basket.

I also picked up a container of mashed potatoes (which came with a slab of butter on top), some almondine green beans, and sun dried tomato pasta salad. I wanted to touch every cheese in the dairy case (don't worry, I didn't!) and all the prepared dinners looked scrumptious.  Even the "kids meals" were foods that adults like me would eat. I picked up a child sized alfredo chicken pasta.

The service was prompt and friendly, and they do a great job of organizing all the food in a logical manner. It is a little pricey, but i think it's well worth the money.

The original prepared foods store in my mind.  It seems like Whole Foods and Central Market copied from Eatzi's for their own prepared foods section... and for good reason.

I am fortunate to have an office that is literally a minute drive from here - which may or may not be a great hting.  I found myself here whenever there isn't a scheduled lunch and I have a lot of work to do.  Typically my standard for lunch is a make your own salad with the BEST CROUTONS IN DALLAS.  They have tons to select from and if you skimp on a protien (chicken, salmon, beef or shrimp) is well priced -  with a protien it goes up.  They have a great make your own sandwhich part as well.  I say make your own, but really you tell someone what you want and they put your food together.

They have everything from sushi to meatloaf, fresh baked breads and desserts and seasonal items as well in the prepared sections.  they have a deli and cheese section with a nice wine selection as well, although small.  They also have a "souther food" line as well if you will which has daily "hot" items and are great as well.

Knowledage staff, great chefs... favorite check out lady is Glen.  She knows your name and asks how everything is going with a genuine interest.

Only cons I'd have to say is the size - on the small size - which makes it crowded during lunch.  Need more inside dining area's for when its cold - but during nice weather eating outside there is great.

Wish I had eatZi's in my pantry!!
