As good as it gets, Eastside Market Italian Deli is one hell of a good place. During lunchtime, it's swarming with Firemen, Policemen, LA Patrons, and LA City Workers. For a reason, this sandwich spot holds it down with their sandwiches. The sandwiches are huge, flavorful, and just the way it should be made.
I usually order the D.A Special, very meaty. It has sausage, meatballs, roast beef, and pastrami. Heavy stuff for a heavy stomach.
They have cold sandwiches and hot ones. A couple of sides like macaroni salad, and potato salad.
EATHERETODAY.
Do you know what today Tuesday November 3, is????
Well it's "NATIONAL SANDWICH DAY", so go celebrate and have a sandwich!........
I've been thinking how do I want to represent this SPECIAL day? Hmmm Langers?, Canters? Oinkster?....OH I know what me and the homies call Hillside Market, Keepin' it on the Eastside......................http://www.yelp.com/bi...
So Eastside Market Italian Deli has been in business since 1929, up on the Hillside practically around the corner from dodgers Stadium, use to work Downtown in the 80's/90's and go here frequiently but have not been here in a while. Seems like it's more about the Italian Deli these days, not too much of the Market part left as it's mainly seating area for the deli's diners.
So Ladies don't fear the area you will always find plenty of LAPD and or LAFD here!, this place get's real busy especially around lunch time 11:00am - 1:00pm ish....the line moves quickly and your sandwich is made with lightning speed, but you might have trouble finding a seat or maybe you Ladies can score and sit with one of the many men in blue, Guys sorry we're screwed!.
The prices are not expensive like Langers, but is moderately priced but when you see all the meat you get, you might just say it's a deal!...http://www.yelp.com/bi...
So I order the "D. A. Special" Sandwich which is Sausage, Meatball, Roast Beef, Pastrami, Marinera Sauce, Peppers and I put Parmesan Cheese http://www.yelp.com/bi... http://www.yelp.com/bi... you can see from the photos they are not stingy with the MEAT, wow and all the flavors from the Bread, Sausage, Meatball, Roast Beef, Pastrami, Marinera sauce, peppers and cheese is amazing how crazy it is that all these flavors work so well together!.
Now this is a Italian Deli so you really can't compare this to Langers or Canters, but it's mt Favorite deli on the Eastside................5-Stars and their is a reason they have been in business since 1929 and still busy every day!.

Growing up this was the place to go if you loved deli food. Today not much has changed, except that it's more popular and can get busy around certain hours.
I have this theory, Police Officers and Fighter Fighters have to eat out everyday on the job. So you can't go too wrong if you let your palate follow Police Officers and Fire Fighters, especially the LAPD and LAFD variety, and they definitely go here.
Nothing better then a hot #7 "roast beef and pastrami" on a cold day.
Come hungry!
My friend Grand recommend this sandwich shop to me since he knows my office is in downtown LA. My coworkers and I arrived at 11:30 and there was a long line already. Before going I checked Yelp to see what was a good sandwich to order and I decided on the DA Special. Boy was I not disappointed with the sandwich. You can't go wrong with a sandwich that has roast beef, pastrami, meat balls and Italian Sausages all smothered in marinara sauce. The portion is huge, I was stuffed after eating it. Be ready to get your hands dirty, this sandwich is messy.
They offer sandwich's hot plate style which means the meats are put in a togo container and you get bread on the side.
On Tuesdays and Thursday they offer lasagna, which looked really good also. There is plenty of seating inside, but I recommend either getting there early or after 1 for lunch. I just found my new favorite sandwich spot in downtown!
When you're greeted by a guy who asks you, "are you lost?" usually that means you are in unfriendly LA territory. You know, the usual Silverlake You're-not-a-regular-you-have-no-right-to-be-here elitist attitude. Okay yes, we were two blondes and walked right bast the "Order Here" sign but comeon man, we're practically neighbors so show us some love!
Well let me tell you. Love comes in a warm bun with a fork on the side. The eggplant Parmesan sandwich was to die for, or at least risk being shot by the mob table (yes, this place truly was Italian as there was a table of "regulars" who may or may not be named Vinny if ya know what I mean). Nestled on the outskirts of Chinatown, this gastronomically pleasing establishment is the real deal. Simple, honest meats and cheeses thrown on itallian rolls at decent prices. The exterior makes you wonder how they achieved their rating, however inside is your typical deli decor, equipped with burly men behind the counter who will carve your meat and take your money...and other odd jobs.
The hours of operation are slim, but it is definitely worth moving up your typical 3pm LA lunch for a delicious taste of the olde country.
Went for the first time yesterday. Great spot, been there for 50 years. The turkey/roast beef was tasty. The owner and son were cool.
Nice tvs, good sitting area. Went back again today and got the cold cut #1. I'm gonna wait a while and go back for one of the hot sammiches.
Lunchtime was approaching. I was feeling lazy and didn't really care to make much of an effort to obtain nutrients for my body. Fortunately for me, my malaise coincided with a little trip that a bunch of my co-workers wanted to take for lunch. At the behest of Survival Insurance, I took that ride.
I don't really get it up for sandwiches. Well, not so much to be spending a half hour driving, to and fro, out of my lunch break. But, I thought the encouragement of a) a free ride from a co-worker, and b) the fact that my lunch would be paid for due to an earlier mishap, in which I had forgotten my wallet, would nudge me in the right direction.
As it turned out, Eastside Market Italian Deli just so happened to be the "right" direction.
My one-hour vacation from work took me to the stretches of Chinatown. Waiting in line I could see an interesting amalgam of people. There were quite a few cops, well-dressed corporate types, scuzzy-looking people that I like to assume were regulars, an Asian clique, and folks just like you and I! And by that I mean there was a bearded fella, and someone that looked exactly like [imagine a description that best describes how you look].
Their sandwiches are fairly straight-forward. Nothing too fancy here. For $7+tax I opted for the meatiest sounding sandwich on the menu -- the pastrami/roast beef sandwich. Yeah, you heard me. I passed up on the plain ol' pastrami sandwich, the simple roast beef, and what I'd presume to be everyone else's favorite -- the meatball sandwich. My roast beef/pastrami hybrid sandwich consisted of 70% meat, 29% dripping marinara-like sauce, and 1% bread. This is not meant as promotional material for those on the Atkins Diet. More so, I suppose this is meant as a meatlover's utopian wet dream.
Seriously, for serious sake, this place was a pleasant surprise. But I don't want you to be completely surprised, so I'm going to provide a crib sheet containing tips for you:
1. Ask for the sauce on the side. It puts the power in YOUR hands. Literally. You didn't like it so much when I said dripping sauce? (Wow, I bet some of you actually did, didn't you?) Well, you have the power to change that by putting on only as much as you'd like. I'd say it does a mighty fine job in preventing you from having to continuously hold your sandwich, for fear of it falling apart once you set it down. This way, you're safely able to tuck your sandwich for a one-minute rest or two, before resuming the chowing down process.
2. They give you enough meat to fill two sandwiches. If you think you might be hungry later on, take some of the meat out, and use some of that left over marinara sauce they provide you in the plastic container. It's like a whole 'nother meal . This is the kind of idea that probably only comes from someone who was once poor. Not that I'm giving George Soros a run for his money now or anything...
3. These sandwiches tastes a lot better when you have someone else driving you, and ends up paying for your lunch.
If you come here during lunch GET HERE EARLY! 11 am should suffice. Me and the girls at the office like to call this place "The Fireman Deli" due to the fact that all the firemen (and cops) like to come here during their lunch hour. (Might I add that they're mostly the chubby middle aged ones lol).
I've tried both the cold and hot roast beef sandwiches, the one with pastrami and roast beef in it, and the Italian sausage one and they are all damn tasty. On Wednesdays they serve some bad ass albondigas soup, which I would suggest eating there because they give you less if you take it to go.
Remember: get there early, and you better know what you want when you get up to the counter because I don't want to have to wait behind you people.
Sometimes you just gotta believe the hype.
The neighborhood is a little rough around the edges--just call it working class--but it's not that bad by LA standards. If you don't know your way around, you best print directions before. The streets sort of dead-end and loop around and such.
Yes, the #7 (pastrami and roast beef sandwich) is outrageously good. It's juicy beyond belief and you get an absolute ton of meat. Go ahead and add a few of the spicy peppers to it (from the tray on the side counter) for an extra kick, although it's already very flavorful. And the "cold cuts" Italian sandwich is also very good. Everything from the bread to the veggies is very fresh and you can taste that freshness.
All sandwiches are $7 except for the heart-attack inducing DA Special, which I don't have the huevos to try.
This is the type of business people need to support. Pay a buck or more than you would at Subway and you get a sandwich which is so much bigger and better in every way.
ESM is a winner.
The closest to an Italian Deli you will get west of the mississippi. New York nostalgia set in as I took a chomp out of my eggplant parmigiana. Location is quasi-hood but is frequented by cops and firemen alike, so have no fear. Avoid the lunch hour crowd if you can, the place gets crowded.
They have Orangina too!
All I have to say is that the D.A special is insane. I split it with a co-worker (kind of wussy for a 6'3 240 lber) and was still feeling grossly full 2 hours later. ADVISORY for the iron stomach impaired, the DA special comes swamped in marinara. Gave me a lil acid reflux.
Delicious meats. So nice to have a non-asian place to go to for lunch in Chinatown. I will definitely be back to try the roast beef and the pastrami (not soaked in marinara).
CRIMINALS! Watch out. Police men are here often. Save your crime committing for other neighborhoods! Well at least between 3-5pm not during peak eating hours.
Sometimes a girl just needs a sporadic "OO" [oral orgasm], even when she's alone..
With that being said, I ventured to Eastside Market on a Saturday, which I NEVER do; due to not having my hotrod at work, [Go Metro!!!] it's difficult to go for my OO's to occur during the week at this deli; so since I was in the area, I stopped by; ordered my No. 7 and sat down and munched out. I had no friends for the "moment" in time . . . hehehehehe, nor did I need any.
I didn't notice anyone else in the deli dining area but me & No. 7. . . You see, me and No. 7 go way back and when we're ONE, we're alone . . . no one else matters . . .
After me & No. 7 were done with our business; I went to the counter and ordered some of their deeelicious Provolone Cheese, and a slab of Mortadella to go, YUM!
Can I tell you, I've been very creative with the Provolone and Mortadella [P&M] all week in my cooking moments at home. Made a [few] delicious sandwich[es] and have used P&M in salads . . . ate straight out of the package . . . Now if No. 7 hears about my torrid affair with P&M, it might create a problem . . . I'm willing to take that risk though . . .
Anyways . . . while at the counter, Anthony recognized me from my Yelp review. He tenderly pointed his finger at me and said, that my review was the best review he's read thus far about his deli; he even printed it out to show his wife and employees . . . He loved the OO review I gave them.
It makes me happy; that he / they actually read what people have to say about their establishment; it ensures customer service ~ and the continuation of my OO's!!!!
Thanks Anthony!

East side catered our wedding at the Restaurant. Everything was perfect! The food was fantastic to say the least! Everybody raved about it. The guys went above and beyond. They added more items then we asked for. They gave us roses on the tables for free. They gave us a security guard for free. They put meatball sandwiches at the end of the night for everyone to eat. Then, at the end of the night, they gave us ALL the left overs. Thanks East side for making our wedding so wonderful!!!!
Sure they give you a shit-ton of meat for $7 but I'm just not into mega-girthy and sloppy footlongs all up in my jaws. I had the #3 Italian sausage and meatball sandwich but the only thing it did for me was make me wish I was at Bay Cities instead.
I grew up in the neighborhood and have been going to Eastside for 40 years - back when it was a true local market and sandwiches were just a side business to the meat counter.
Sure, Eastside doesn't carry the exotic breads, spreads and side dishes that some of the hipster joints on the west side rely upon, but then again it doesn't need to. It just makes good sandwiches with real, quality Italian meats.
Lots of cops, firemen, downtown attorneys, and Cathedral and Evans adult community school students frequent the place, and that just adds to the ambiance. Actually, I'd argue that the clientele actually add to the experience as it has a real "locals" feel to it, yet is still really welcoming.
Price-wise, it's downright cheap compared to other sandwich places and given the fact that the meats are REAL (not all turkey products like at Subway!), Eastside is the standard by which I've compared all other sandwiches.
Step aside Subway! Back off Quizno's! Eastside Deli is the true king of sandwiches! So what if the food cost more than $5? It's all worth it! I agree with Sam Y. who says that Eastside is much better than Phillipe's. My brother ordered the D.A. Special, which costs around $9, and that thing is PACKED with meat. The sandwich is stacked so high that I think you'd have to unlock your jaws to fit it in your mouth. I got the roast beef sandwich and thought the meat was a bit dry and needed more flavor, but I'm recovering from a cold so my taste buds are off.
You can order your food in a sandwich form or have the meat separate from the bread. If you get the D.A. Special, I recommend you get the bread on the side. The sauce will get the bread super soggy if you don't.
Word's can't describe how amazing the #7 Roast Beef/Pastrami sandwich is....Absolutely the best in the nation if not the world....I'm not kidding you, I drive from Orange County to this locaton on weekends just to eat a #7. It takes me sometimes up to 2 hours in traffic but so worth the drive....I've already recommended this place to everyone I know and everyone has said the same thing about that #7. I will continue driving here no matter how long it takes me. Keep up the good work. Love you guys!!!! thanks for the free shirt by the way.....this should tell you who I am:-)
Hands down the absolutely best sandwich place in the world. I get the #6, pastrami in sauce, if I'm eating there. The all pastrami hot plate if I'm taking it to go. It saves you the soggy bread problem at the cost of having to put your own sandwich together. I've also been known to dabble with the capicolla or the ham & turkey, both excellent sandwiches.
They'll also let you order off the menu. So you could order a pastrami and meatball for example...
The lunch crowd line does get pretty long but it moves quickly.
Cop cars parked illegally outside the restaurant... uh oh did something happen inside? Nope! The place is packed with cops and firemen who are there to enjoy the awesome sandwiches. The DA Special is insane! It was so big that I had to share it with my coworker (He's 6'3, 240lbs) and we were both full afterwards. My mouth just got watery thinking about that sandwich....soooo goooood.
After looking over all the other reviews it's clear that I won't be making any friends by saying this but Eastside just doesn't do it for me. In fact, as of yesterday, it's officially dead to me.
Yes I've ordered the humongous DA, as well as the roast beef / pastrami, pastrami alone, roast beef alone, and guess what... they all taste the same. It's as if all the flavor is steamed out of the meat and what's left is an enormous, but bland, sando.
I certainly appreciate the massive quantity of meat included in this sandwich, but after having eaten at deli's like Langers, this pastrami doesn't cut the mustard. I guess I am just not a fan of the "dip" style sando as Philippes didn't do much for me either.
Oh yeah.... and I do not like the soggy bread.
Italian Food at it's finest! Owned by a good Italian family. Owners are really nice and when you go there enough times they know you by name. I grew up with Nick (Bubba) through grade/high school.
italian deli with italian subs. check out all the subs, my favorite 7+1. all the subs are delicious. everyone eats here, especially city workers, police dept, and fire dept. when these guys go you know its good. big portions and everything is made fresh everyday!
TASTY SANDWICHES
I've been coming here for nearly four years and it just gets better and better. The three brothers and their father behind the counter are just the friendliest guys in the room.
I had an excuse to leave the office this morning, and on the way back I dropped by for my favorite sandwich: tuna with lots of lettuce and tomato. The pepperocini are available at the end of the counter, so take 5 or 50. There are other yummy sandwiches available to pick from: turkey, pastrami, chicken, roast beef, but the best is the eggplant parmesan. You can get it as a sandwich or a la carte.
There's plenty of parking on the street, but if you get there before 12 noon, it should be an ease. If you get there after 12, then you'll drive around the block before you get a spot. The line goes quickly too, especially if you get there early. When you walk in and if the line looks long, don't despair since the brothers behind the counter are quick. Before you know it, you'll be sitting down with your foot long sandwich and gobbles of pepperocinis. This doesn't compare to Subway or other sandwich places.
If you work downtown, or any nearby borough, it's worth shlepping yourself to Eastside Market for a taste of one of the best sandwiches in Los Angeles.
I make an effort to get out of the office once in a while, but don't tell my boss. She'll probably want a tuna sandwich as well.
Buon Appetito!
QUESTION: How do you know when it's a good sandwich spot?...
ANSWER: When you pull up hungry and starving and just can't wait for that first bite...but wait! Damn, there's a whole line of DWP workers then a whole line of LAPD, mix in a couple of baldy's all mingling and just in a heavy thought of which sandwich to order.."hmmm, should I get the roast beef or pastrami or how about a meatball, maybe sausage..forget it, I'll have the DA Special please!"
I've been coming here for about 5 years now and not once have I been disappointed. I've had every sandwich on the menu. To be honest, I prefer the hot sandwiches instead. This is place is not for the faint and hearty..don't order no DA and then get a diet coke just to make yourself feel better! You're already in the place, might as well go all out complete with chips and a whole lot of peperonchinis!
BOTTOM LINE: This is really one of the best!
More like 3.5. I've never actually been inside Eastside, but I've had it plenty of times for lunch on Saturday when nothing is open and I have work.
Not bad! I can't finish a whole sandwich by myself, so I usually share with my person. He likes the roast beef with pastrami one, which seems to be the most popular. There is a lot of sauce on it, which makes the bread soggy. I actually don't mind cuz I kinda like soggy bread. :)
On occasion, we get the eggplant sandy instead. I LOVE eggplant sandwiches, but the one here is just okay. It's got too much egg for my taste, and just lacks something that I can't quite put my finger on.
I want to try the meatball one, but being a creature of habit, I'll probably end up eating the pastrami again. Mmm hm.
Big Portion and paid about $9 bucks for a big DA special
Boy was I stuffed after somehow managing to finish the whole thing.
Great sandwich a bit pricey but if you want something like this definitely do what I should've done and you'll survive through these rough economic times and actually a good diet solution. Next time you think you want to buy a sandwich or plate over here, for example the DA special, just eat half of it then eat the second half at home for dinner. You are saving money from having to go out more than once for a meal, if you tend to go out for food that is plus the meals should fill you up for each part of the day.
Always read about, but never tried - so I finally picked up their famous #7 (pastrami and roast beef) and a cold cut combo for dessert. I had to drive around a bit to find the place as it's located west of China town in a residential area. About a mile from Philippes on Alpine.
Just like the reviewers mentioned there were a dozen big guys from DWP and other heavy set men. This was at 10:30 in the morning! The food here is hearty and you won't need to super-size as each sandwich weighed in at 20 oz (Subway 6" is 8 oz) and were only $6.80 which is a value.
The #7 sandwich was totally soaked with a light tomato based sauce. Very good strong bread as it held up to being soaked without falling apart. The roast beef was tender while the pastrami was thicker cut and fatty (hamburger stand style). Melted mozzarella was oozing out of the bottom of this monster and with something this big it's not just about eating, it's a battle, war - u know man vs food.
The 20 oz cold cut had a good quantity of meat, topped with shredded lettuce, and sliced tomatoes. Mustard and mayo are the standard dressing. I think I would prefer having Italian dressing to intensify the flavors and acidity. This time the roll seemed too hard and dry for it's duty. I prefer the cold cut sandwiches at Frumentos, Claros, Bay Cities, Tony's, Guilanos, etc. For reference a Godmother w/chilies from Bay Cities would blow this sub out of the water.
The #7 was definitely the standout sandwich and it's unique. It's a monster of meat sub drenched in italian tomato based sauce, and packed with enough calories to feed a family of 4. It would certainly appeal to my big fishing buds Cedric and Darrell who live off this kind of heavy duty good eats. It's a great value, tastes great, but it's not destination place for me for either pastrami or roast beef - maybe if I gain another 100 lbs?. 3.5 Stars.
OK so I tried to go vegetarian yesterday and was doing really well, even fasting most of the day until I had to get some x-rays around one o'clock for a visa I am applying for...I don't know if the x-ray machine made my bones thinner or burned off the fat that I am carrying around but as soon as I stepped out of the imaging clinic I had a craving for a #7...the clinic was in Echo Park so the drive to Eastside Market was a cinch.
I grew up in the area so I know about hidden gems like this one but otherwise this place is full of cops, firefighters, city workers and some suits from downtown. I have yet to meet someone from my old neighborhood at this place, maybe we are not supposed to know this place even exists.
They have a list of hot and cold sandwiches but my stomach tortures me into ordering a #7 almost every time I step into this "old school" deli. For those of you who don't know what a #7 is it consists of hot succulent slices of pastrami and roast beef dipped into their juice vat and covered with sweeet peppers. They add some cheese just in case there isn't enough flavor already and pack it into a roll and wrap it in butcher paper. There are sides of pepperchinis and hot peppers to give the sandwich a kick. I really hate roast beef and anywhere else I would never think of ordering a roast beef sandwich so I don't know why I can order it here I just can and thank Zeus that I can cause....wait I have to go get one...come on 10:00 AM...I'll become vegetarina another day
We went here for lunch today. Um, yeah, it was just okay for me. You must think that I have some crazy standards for a Pastrami sandwich, which was what I ordered. I got the cold one, by the way. There's a hot one too, dipped in some kind of red sauce, which another co-worker ordered. The rest ordered the following: meatball sandwich, cold cut combination sandwich, eggplant Parmesan sandwich, roast beef sandwich, and someone ordered soup. Trust me, we are a healthy bunch. All in all, everyone said their meal was good.
Anyway, back to my sandwich. Nice, chewy bread. It held well with all the fixings. The pastrami though, was a little on the fatty side for me. I had to pick at it, and clean off the excess fat. I had quite a pile of just fat or fatty-like texture. It was quite a sight! Since I've had delicious pastrami before, I KNOW it is not supposed to be this fatty! I was thinking the whole time, yeah, I should not be having having this sandwich. I only ate half, btw. All in all, it was an "ok" experience. Meat could be more tender, less fatty for sure, and more seasoned. I don't believe I tasted a hint of pepper, which is not okay for me. Yet, it was good enough for the price of $6.90 per sandwich. Personally, I prefer Johnnie's Pastrami in Culver City more.
If I do go back, I'll just have ham and cheese. I'm sure that can't be so bad.
The sammiches are great. I ordered the meatball and sausage.
very filling. The tomatoes in the sammich are so good!
the menu is very simple.
I like the pictures on the walls. Vintage LA.
only thing people are not to friendly. If I had a gold mine like this.
I would appreciate all that come in. A simple thank you is enough.
thats why I gave it a 3 star instead of a 4.
Good food and good portions. This isn't no subway, this is what a sandwhich shop is all about.
Really good meats and really good chips! The sandwiches here are HUGH so SHARE! Pastrami is the best and meatballs are a close second ; ]
This place has really very limited hours so get in when you can.
I absolutely LOVE this place.
I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints me.
I've had the cold cut, turkey, ham, turkey & ham, roast beef, & tuna. They were all scrumptious!!!
This place gets extremely busy during lunch time, the line can get pretty outrageous, but it moves rather fast. Finding a place to sit during lunch time will be a challenge though.
And ladies, this place is full of eye candy! :) Tons of cops & fire fighters visit this place.
Known to many but to many unknown about this Downtown's best kept secret for deli sandwiches.
Bar none, the best sandwiches in the downtown area. I recommend any of the hot sandwiches (I am partial to the roast beef/pastrami sandwich). The meat is plentiful, doused in marinara sauce and cheesy provolone. The lines are hefty but the staff works like clockwork in serving its customers. Be sure you know what you want before ordering as the owners and operators won't hesitate to hurry you along.
Parking and seating is a premium and unfortunately operation hours are only open during lunch.
The number 7.....The best sandwich I have ever had, Roast Beef & Pastrami. A friend from work introduced me to this place. It was love at first bite. We always made him stop before work to get us some. Its a few miles away from where I live but its all worth it.. I should try another kind of sandwich but I am addicted to the # 7. Trust me you will love it too.
The food is very fresh and the service is fast. Try to get there before the lunch crowd gets there. DWP is right across the street and it gets crowded.
This place used to be my number one until I discovered Busy Bees in San Pedro.
But this place is still kick ass, with a stop in flavor town good. The roast beef and pastrami combo. Hello. You always know a place is good when the fireman and cops are there in a line out the door.
Great place for true Italian food. I had the Meatball sandwich. Gets crowded so go in the off hours. The guys behind the counter are very courteous.
I'm convinced that this is the best Italian sandwich deli in town. I have been going there for more than 15 years and the quality has not wavered. It's always the same -- excellent. Like everyone else, I have my favorites there but I've tried just about everything they offer and have never been disappointed. They are also very well organized. Even at peak times when the lines are very long, they still move quickly and the wait is never long. And the owners, especially Johnny, are always friendly.
They close early -- 4 PM weekdays and 2 PM on Saturday. So don't go too late.
I always want to like a place that has such great reviews on yelp, but I thought it was just okay. If I was in the area, I would probably come again but I wouldnt go out of my way to come here.
I had planned on going to the Grilled Cheese Invitational, but the lines there were ridiculous and I hate long lines. So I decided since I was in the area, I would try a place that was so highly recommended. I got the #7 Pastrami and Roast beef in sauce. It was kind of plain and i had to add some hot sauce to it. The potato salad was nothing special. If it was possible to get a 3.5, that's what I would have given them.
