1 review for East Shore Park
For jogging in spring or fall, this place is one of my favorites. Because it's got all those big open fields, it always gets a lot of sun in the afternoon and the sunsets are pretty. There's a big, round 1 mi loop and there's always a few other people walking or running, and folks with dogs tend to keep them leashed. It's not as crowded as West Haven, but it's plenty social.
Sometimes there's a ton of people parked near the practice fields (but there's always parking available if you go a bit further in) and sometimes you feel like you might get hit by a stray softball, but in general people respect each others use of the park and everyone is there to stretch their legs and get some fresh air.
If the wind is in the wrong direction, though, the whole place stinks from the water treatment plant. Such is life.
