1715 28th StThis was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised by their huge magazine collection! I went in there to buy some Bali Shag lites which I found, but I totally didn't expect a selection of mags bigger than Borders or Barnes and Nobles! HA! Who knew! This place definitely has more to offer than just smokes and a news stand. I love how this place feels old school and unpolished. I'm definitely coming back to check out the rest of the store next time.
In the future, there will be no magazine and newspaper shops. We'll get all our information online.
Wait a minute, we already live in the future. That's what makes Eads such a cool little spot, if a bit anachronistic. I love this place. It reminds me of an old newsstand back home where we used to get our skin mags when we were underage. Not suggesting they sell porn to minors here, just being nostalgic.
Eads is a Boulder institution in its own way, and I'm glad to see it still in business. Not sure if Mr. Eads still runs the joint or if it's been sold, but if he does be sure and strike up a conversation with him at the counter. Neat guy.

I like Ead's because it was the only shop I found with copies left of the Rolling Stone with Hunter S. on the cover, RIP. So there's that. Besides that, Ead's is a spunknick shop with lots of mags and even more pizazz--no seriously...they've got some old style ghetto-ee charm, fur shure. Conveniently located next to several dive breakfast joints and even more hotels, Ead's is the ideal place to take your mistress for a quick trip to the hotel, out to breakfast before buying her a witty periodical and sending her on her way. Oh, and CLEVER name too...but wtf?
Magazines and tobacco products. Good selection of both. If I hadn't given up porn and tobacco, I'd visit more often.
