The folks at E-Geniuses are truly reliable and knowledgeable.
I have yet to be let down by the service provided for my PC.
They always have answers for my questions, and they answer them in a professional manner. Ever call up a repair place and hear that patronizing tone-- you can just hear the "OMG LOL YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A ROUTER IS" going on in their mind as they talk to you? Well, you won't find any of that at E-Geniuses. They just know what they're talking about, and they know what they're doing. And that is refreshing, especially because I only found recently found out what a router is...
So to sum up, great service, great people. Very dependable! I would definitely recommend this repair service to those looking to have anything done on their computer, big or small.
So everyone knows that computer repair is a big pain in the ass. No lie, it just is. It's never fun having to bring your sad and broken laptop into a scary place that is going to hold it hostage for a month then tell you they couldn't fix it. E-Geniuses are the complete opposite. They changed my whole view on this industry completely (yay!)!!
As sketchy as it sounds, I recently bought a Macbook Pro laptop off of Craigslist and needed to get it setup so that I could resume my schoolwork and business activities. I brought my computer to E-Geniuses and they transferred all of my data from my old laptop into the new one, installed a faster hard drive into the new laptop, installed new ram and pushed out a big dent that was on the top of the aluminum case of the laptop. Hey, what do you expect, I bought it off Craigslist! Anyway, by the time I got it back I felt like this laptop was brand new and made just for me. Oh, I also had them clean out the data from my old laptop completely so I didn't have to worry about my personal info when/if I sold it.
They are all really nice over there and kept me up to date on the status of my laptops with emails, phone calls and even through text messages! I'm super impatient and they made it a point to get me both of my laptops within a few days (not weeks like Geek Squad said they would).
Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend them to my friends and family over Geek Squad or any other place any day. I even had them setup my mom's all-in-one printer and wireless network. If I can trust 'em with my mom, I think you're good to go!
E-Geniuses not only built my computer but has kept it going. They are very knowledgeable and competent, as well as very kind and considerate, and takes their business seriously. They've always been there if I have needed to call them with a question or problem. (I have never had to wait around for them to get back to me.) They maintain my computer each month like clockwork, and I've never had a real problem with it. I am happy to recommend their expert services to everyone.
