Definitely good, but I'm not sure if the quality outweighs the price or kind of awkward location. That being said, these are fucking good donuts. Not quite a cake but not quite raised either, a good in between texture.
When I went it, there didn't appear to be any inside seating area, there was just the walk up counter. Perhaps the indoor seating isn't always offered or is a new thing?
I went out of my way to go here but I'm not entirely convinced I would do it again. If I was in the neighborhood though? Hells yeah.
I don't eat bacon, but when you offer me a Bacon Maple Apple Donut, how can I refuse?
This is a departure from your usual Dunkin' Donuts with a foodie's twist. We tried five different flavors and most notable were the Cornmeal Rosemary, Vanilla Bean and the Bacon Maple Apple (of which we bought two more). Caramel Salt had a slightly bitter taste which is characteristic of burnt sugar...definitely an adult flavor.
Gourmet comes with a price at $2.00 to 3.00 a donut. The texture was a cross between a fried donut and a cake one. And it wasn't greasy at all, so I'm wondering if they're baked rather than fried. The hot chocolate was nice too: a bit denser and only slightly sweet.
We hit it on a weekend and parking was no problem. Limited seating is available inside, where you can watch the bakers prepare more donuts. They even have children's books on the ledge about...what else? Donuts :)
PRICEY DONUTS, QUALITY INGREDIENTS
We stopped by here to see what all the hype was about. Their professionally designed website advertises that they use organic, sustainable, local ingredients but the real test is the taste. They were sold out of the Maple Bacon Glazed Apple donut so we tried the following:
Toasted Coconut
I decided on the toasted coconut donut with coconut milk glaze. It was not greasy and had the texture of a light pastry instead of a dense donut. Good, but not great.
Chocolate Rosemary Almond
L had the chocolate donut with toasted rosemary almonds. We both agreed it was very dense and boring.
Next time I want to try the elusive Maple Bacon Glazed Apple donut.
Caramel salt (has fancy name) donut... yum!
Love that there is a take out window AND an inside seating area...
The donut was quality and well baked- it had dense bread like innards and slightly fried but thin crisp outside. The donut was more dense then others, but a pretty good. The frosting was thin and well flavored- but sticky and runny.
FYI's~
* Donuts stick to paper bags when taken to-go
* Easy to find on 24th- It is almost at the end of the eating meca :)
* Serves coffee
* Has one of the nicest bathrooms I have encountered in a SF eatery
Mmmmm...
Bacon and doughnuts = GOOD.
Bacon _ON_ doughnuts = DROOL!
Dynamo Donuts today. Read all the gushing reviews, but I just don't get it. I guess they only make them once a day, early in the morning, and they're all cake-style and very moist, so they quickly lose that just-out-of the oil crispness. The dough lacks the traditional donut flavor, so Vanilla was just a sweet, soft, bland cake. Orange Blossom was bitter, with too-large chunks of peel. And the maple-bacon, their signature flavor, was like walking into the kitchen hours after breakfast to discover someone forgot to do the dishes. It still smells like breakfast, but isn't exactly appetizing. Maybe with all the hype I was just expecting too much? I'll stick to Happy Donuts in Berkeley.
On the plus side, they made a fabulous hot chocolate. Not too sweet, nice chocolate flavor. But I asked for soy and he forgot and gave me cow.
A good way to start the day.
2 Maple Bacon, 1 Chocolate Spice, 1 Cornmeal Rosemary Cherry and 1 Meyer Lemon Huckleberry.
We went here of course for the Maple Bacon and it was quite tasty. Although RL and I both agreed that the Cornmeal Rosemary Cherry stole the show.
All doughnuts were delish and worth the $2.50-$3.00 price tag.
Bummers: the early bird gets the worm...Lemon Pistachio was listed on-line but was sold out when we got there. ):
Coffee drinks took a little long but the creamy foam art on my latte made the wait worth it.
Space is cute and cozy and the staff is super friendly (I enjoyed the "cheers" as the gal passed me my coffee drinks)
After much anticipation, I was hoping not too much, we visited Dynamo Donuts. We learned of it from the Food Network, then through Yelp, and finally had an excuse to stop by on a Saturday morning. Friendly neighborhood (a LOT of dogs, tho), parking just OK on the street, sidewalk counter 5 or 6 people deep.
Friendly barristas and donut makers and patient with us trying to make up our minds as we contemplated the 6 or 7 donut choices. We ended up with 2 bacon, 1 toasted coconut, 1 pumpkin/chocolate chip, 1 sticky bun. We're still talking about them two days later! Each one was BETTER than our expectations.
Someone must have listened about the maple/bacon being too sweet because ours certainly wasn't, it was just the right balance between the saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness of the maple. The coconut was amazing. The dough has a good chewy consistency without being cloying. And the sticky bun was 2nd only to the sourdough at Wildflower Bakery in Freestone.
One thing we all commented on was the french-pressed coffee. Best I've had in a while and I'm a long-time Peets fan.
Can't wait to go back. 5 donuts, 3 coffees: $20.
Donuts were pretty good but very cold and stiff, even at 9:30am. I was expecting something a little fresher and warmer but oh well, still good. Staff are very friendly and the crowd was also cool. Not a cheap donut.
In a place where one can get a super burrito for less than $6 I was disappointed to finally have the maple bacon apple donut that everyone is raving about.
Fortunately I didn't want a LARGE donut. Thank goodness I didn't need to worry. It was HALF the size of a regular old fasioned at three times the price.
The flavor was yeasty and not that bacony. I think you have to go to Portland to enjoy a big old maple bar with strips of bacon on top.
This is a clear case of people over-hyping a new sensation because they WANT it to be true. Sorry folks. Not buying this one.
What can I say!!! Not crazy for donuts before and now I am addicted!!! The creativity on the flavors and the unique delivery make this one of my new favorite pastry places in SF. Worth driving out of the way to try!!!! I promise
On price, if you want quality and freshness this is not expensive!!!
They've done it again!
Make sure you try the spiced chocolate donut, too. Flavorgasm.

MAPLE BACON DONUTS. Need I say more?
The elusive spiced chocolate donut has done it again. I need to go here right when they open next time so I can cross it off my Big Eats SF list!
Karen Y. and I weren't totally disappointed as the Meyer Lemon Huckleberry and the Maple Bacon proved to be good alternatives.
I shall return!

Dynamo doughnuts?! It's on the 7x7 The Big Eats list, oOoooo, gotta try it! And that I did! They've got to be dynamo, right? Not so dynamo in size when I received my order, quite disappointing (and not much bacon on my doughnut might I add). Plus, the additional flavors that I wanted were already sold out or not available during the day I wanted to be doughnut crazed and try as many flavors that I found appealing as I could.
- Maple glazed bacon apple: Oh you sneaky one that steals the spotlight. Yes, it's a pretty unique combo that tasted pretty much like eating a big breakfast in one bite. I'm talking about pancake w/maple syrup and bacon. I don't know where the apple flavor went, but I'd much rather have an apple fritter from a regular doughnut shop.
- Spiced chocolate: This one is listed on the 7x7, but the closest thing that I can say this one tasted like is a dark chocolate churro. Cinnamon/sugar with a slight hint of chocolate bitterness in each bite. Probably better with coffee, but not my cup of tea.
- Lemon thyme: lemon scone with a pound cake texture, not very sweet either. You can definitely smell the lemon zest, but can't really taste the lemony flavor.
Of the three, I would choose the maple glazed bacon apple to try if you feel adventurous and want something unique (It's the one that everyone raves about, so you gotta try it at least once in your life, right?). One try is enough for me and not worth waiting in a line out the door in the morning to get.
P.S. Their web site is so delicious looking, but not all flavors are offered every day. Call ahead and place an order if you want to try a specific flavor.
Love the out door/ walk up space.
They seem to run out of things quickly, but are generous with what they have as extra.
Of course I got the maple bacon donut. The actual donut portion was fair. The maple was good, but not special. The bacon was very good...cooked just right. :) and the combo of all was pretty damn tasty.
The vanilla bean was solid...the vanilla bean came through.
Service was attentive. Coffee was good (Ritual, I think)
Incredibly good!

My favorites are maple glazed bacon apple, lemon pistachio and vanilla bean. Unique varieties. They have definitely taken donuts to an entirely new level.
To burn off some of the calories, we usually walk from the Dogpatch, where we live, to the Mission to get some donuts. That's a pretty good walk with some hills!
On this, my third trip to Dynamo, I ordered coffee (no donuts) at around 7:01am, one minute after opening. The coffee is fine, nothing spectacular, though the price is right. But, today, the hipster barista scolded me when I requested he fill my cup to the very tippy-top rather than assume I wanted an inch-and-a-half of room for milk. "Please sir, may I have some more?"
He then proceeded to scold me for spilling milk the day before. Silence.
Really? Chastising me for spilling milk? I get it that he found it a pain in the neck to walk all the way around his outdoor coffee bar, clean up some milk I had spilled (and hastily tried to mop up with napkins), and go back to manning the bar single-handedly (those Laverne & Shirley look-alikes in the back, clad in plaid bandanas, making donuts were no help whatsoever). But, c'mon Joe, them's the perils of the coffee business. You want to make an omlette you might have to risk some spilled eggs, so to speak. What does he think he's doing, lawyering?
Coffee spills, Dynamo. Sad but true. If you want to be able to charge $2.25 for a cup of iced coffee that costs $.15 to make, you may have to spill up some drip every now and then. So, which is more difficult: chalk it up to hazards of the trade, or scold me?
Being a New Yorker and proud of it, I told him as much, though unlike a New Yorker I left out the profanities. Understanding he had crossed the line, he apologized, offered me the coffee on the house, and having ruined both our pre-dawn mornings, he went back to hawking donuts (which smelled amazing) and I went back to drinking my totally ordinary cup of Mission coffee.
All ur Donutz r belong to me!
How rad is this place? A roll up door store front with two chairs on the sidewalk (at least before they expanded the back room) making gourmet doughnuts and great coffee? Win! Feels like you are in some Portland/New York hybrid in the mission. They even gave me free doughnuts one day when they were closing shop. You guys are so sweet to me.
I wouldn't have gone here on my own but a coworker of mine insisted that we drive over to get a few donuts for a meeting. Deep in the Mission this cafe is far from my downtown building. What I thought was going to be a fifteen minute jaunt turned into something closer to an hour and an unhappy boss. So after finding parking we got in line and waited for about 15 minutes until we got up to the front where I noticed the prices of the donuts. $2-$3! I nearly strangled my coworker who convinced me this was a good idea. So we shelled out about $30 for a dozen baked goods and if it wasn't for the fellow at the counter being ridiculously pleasant I might have never recovered from the foulness that was brewing inside me.
So back at the office and in the meeting I got to finally sample the big fuss. I tried the infamous maple bacon doughnut and the vanilla. The doughnut it's self was the most remarkable component of the goody as it was a cake/old fashioned style but very light, very impressive! As for the topping I was left feeling nonplussed at what the little cult that worships this place is thinking. Don't get me wrong; it was a good snack and I adore bacon but . . . after all the raving and near religious experience my coworker claimed I was expecting each bite to be like edible total consciousness.
Maybe it would have been better if I stumbled upon this place and got to relax and enjoy some of the reportedly awesome coffee they serve I would be gushing with compliments. So I'm going to give Dynamo Donuts and extra star in good faith and to make sure my coworker doesn't some how read this and throw a fit.
I am actually feeling peer pressure. Weird.
HEART the chocolate rosemary almond!!! Soft and crumbly with just a hint of rosemary that teases the nose and dark chocolate that's perfectly enhanced by the almond flavor. The bacon apple one is a pretty interesting yet tasty combination. And of course vanilla bean is a classic done in a fantastic way.
I told the husband we were going to Dynamo Donuts and he complained about the drive from Marin the entire time. Of course yesterday he declared "we're going this weekend again right? In fact we should make the weekly breakfast trek to the city just for those donuts." 'Nuff said.
Alas, it is true: not everything goes well with bacon; and, not every donut is worth the artery clogging saturated fat.
I really, really wanted to like this place because of the server. He was incredibly friendly, which was a welcome given that I had a crappy day. I came here about an hour before closing so he gave me the donuts half off ($1.5 as opposed to $3, the regular price). I think the reduced price helps to assuage the hurt of disappointment. I ordered 4 out of the 5 flavors because I didn't want to pay for chocolate spice (spice and chocolate aren't my thing) so he gave it to me for free just so I'd try the donut. Would I be such a person to decline an offer like that?
The sampling of the 5 donuts comes out as follows...
-Monte Cristo: weird because the filling tasted like a combination of meat and jam
-chocolate spice: I still don't like the combination of chocolate and spice.
-orange something donut: I don't think orange and donuts go well together.
-donut #4: So unmemorable that I don't even remember what it was called or how it tasted.
-bacon maple donut: I've lost my faith in bacon. I realize that I should have had an inkling of this when I was disappointed in the chocolate bacon cookie of Bi-rite but I still had faith that the failproof nature of bacon's delicious would pull through. I can't say how wrong I was. So from now on, bacon + sweet items does not equal deliciousness.
I am still interested in trying a "regular" flavor like coconut but I doubt I'll have cravings for Dynamo's donuts. Good for the waistline, bad for my continued journey of proving that there are plenty of donut places better than Krispy Kreme.
Perfection.....needing nothing to be added, changed, or taken away in order to improve upon.
The best that there was, is, and will be....
Simply put, this place is donut perfection. The Maple Glazed Bacon Donuts with Apples may draw people in out of sheer curiosity, but every flavor that they make is incredibly balanced. The donuts have just the right amount of sweetness and savory components with the perfect texture. Simple, high quality ingredients made with great attention to detail are the main attraction at Dynamo.
For those who comment on the availability of the donuts, please understand that they only make so much of a quality product once a day. Some of the seasonal donuts aren't available because of their committment to only getting quality ingredients when they are at their best. So when they're out, try some of the other great confections. Avoid going there on the weekends and make a visit during the week so you can partake on some of your favorite donuts.
My favorites: Vanilla Bean, Apricot Cardamom, Spiced Chocolate, and Caramel de Sel
By the way: the price is completely justified because of the overall quality of the donuts.
Sara and Sarah ...you and everyone there are wonderful at your craft. Keep up the great passion to make the world's best donuts.
I came here expecting the bacon maple donut to be very unique .
Don't get me wrong . It was absolutely DELICIOUS . But for three dollars, I really expected it to taste *MM DONUTS* (Homer Voice) .
Right when I tried it, I immediately thought of CHA SIEW BAOS . It tastes EXACTLY like it, but denser .
So I think I rather pay $1.30 for three cha siew baos, than $3 for just that one donut . Yeah, I'm being cheap, sue me .
I do want to come back to try their OTHER flavored donuts to see if it tastes like any other chinese dim sums :D
Organic and Gluttony goodness in the same sentence? That's what Ms. Spearin and the rest of the Dynamo Donuts staff has captured within the confines of the Mission area of San Francisco. This mini donut shop, has caught the eye of both locals, foodies, and random folks alike whenever walking the street to smell the fresh batch being brought out. One of my buddies, wanted to bring me here because of their infamous bacon donuts, so I said, what the hell, gonna be a while until I'm back in the Bay.
Unfortunately, the first visit was a fail but the second one with Jake The Snake finally brought me success with the following:
-1 order of Maple Glazed Bacon Apple; consists of: Bacon and apple sauteed in a Glaze, with bacon bits and maple fat.
-1 order of Candied Orange Blossom; consists of: Candied Orange Zest, Glaze and bittersweet Chocolate (description credit to dynamo donuts website)
At $3.00 a pop it's pricey, and of course a wallet buster for those hurting in the pockets. But if you can afford premium prices in desserts, and are willing to risk your arteries and blood sugar levels through the roof, well I believe it's pretty worth it. The Candied Orange blossom, reminded me of a thick donut cake embedded with those old school Branch's Candies (at least in terms of flavor not texture). The chocolate served as a sweet contrast to appreciate as an after taste.
The Bacon Donut Sensation, was exactly how I pictured it. Sweet glaze, moist donut cake, and bacon bits (not excessive) but just right in amount in texture. It was sweet, salty, and gooey every step of the way. $6.00 and perhaps a 1000 calories later, I'm half-way stuffed for my decadent breakfast. If Homer Simpson, were ever an actual person, I would fear for this business for they would be way too busy serving the behemoth nuclear bum. Service was decent and there's a bit of seating inside but not as much as one would hope for. Dynamo is Dynamic in quality and maybe not so dynamic in price, hopefully there will be some more innovative flavors (and slightly lower prices) in the future. Cheers!
Ehhhhhhh.
My boyfriend wanted to come here because he had a donut craving. I have all kinds of cravings all the time for random food items, and he's quite nice about indulging them, so I thought the least I could do was accompany him for a donut that made it on to the 7x7 Top 100 SF Eats list. Gosh...I'm such an amazing girlfriend, right?
Unfortunately, the donut fell a bit short for me. None of the flavors offered today were particularly appealing to me, so I stuck with the one on the 7x7 list -- the spiced chocolate donut. This is not a sentiment my boyfriend shares, but I only like chocolate in moderation. Too much chocolate overwhelms me. This donut really tasted like a brownie to me, especially with its cake-like texture. I think the spiciness/saltiness definitely adds a cool dimension for someone who's into it, but to be honest, I'm not really into kicks in my food....I don't even like cinnamon a lot of the time! Wow. This review makes me sound super boring. Doesn't like chocolate? Doesn't like cinnamon? Wtf.
My very gluttonous and yet unbelievably skinny boyfriend had two donuts, the spiced chocolate and the coconut donut. The coconut fared a bit better with me. But when it comes to donuts, I really think I'm a traditionalist. I want all those great textures: the sticky glaze, the crispy outside, the fluffy inside.
Other:
+Decent amount of seating inside. Love places that actually provide you somewhere to enjoy your food.
-$2 for a glass of milk? It was huge, but really more milk than I needed. Wish they offered a smaller size for less.
-Doublecharged me on my donut. We didn't really make a fuss about it because it didn't seem worth it, but lame.
Oh my gosh, my mistake - they serve FOUR BARREL at Dynamo Donuts, not Blue Bottle! http://www.fourbarrelc.../. My face is bright red.
And guess what? Four Barrel is amazingly delicious as well, so it's a win-win. Yay!

Super nice, super hip, super tasty! Heidi k. And I shared the maple apple bacon, the chocolate almond Rosemary and the sticky bun. The bacon doughnut was, soft and sweet with a salty finish it was really great.
The chocolate almond rosemary was very chocolatey and very sweet Pablo C. said "it has a hint of hamster cage" lol. The Sticky bun was orangey sweet and sticks to your teeth, not my thing. I sampled the lemon thyme from Pablo C. and Jamie S. and thought it was delicious but I am a whore for lemons! The coffee and hot chocolate is really good too.
Just go!
P.S. it's just donuts so don't over hype it and ruin it for your self.
3.5
kind of a novelty place
$3 donut
the infamous maple bacon donut (not unique to here), which has a lot of bacon bits on a fluffy lightly glazed donut -- i think it could use more glaze or less bacon
chocolate star anise
for me, this place is a try once, but not something i would crave
Not your average donut!! Had the Maple Glazed Bacon Apple that everyone on yelp raves about!! Excellent!!! Never had a donut like this before!!! Made my day!!!! Nothing like enjoying a good donut, coffee and a good view over at Crissy Fields for breakfast!! Fun times!!!! Can't wait to go back and try some different donuts!! Trying to keep it at one donut per visit. Sweet stuff!!!!
Stay tuned for more update!!!
I came with the intentions of buying one bacon donut. Instead, I left with a box of donuts big enough to feed the entire NYC police department.
Self control is obviously not my strong suit, but in this case, that's a good thing. The bacon donut was great, just like everyone else says, but if I had stopped there, then I would have never experienced the Banana de Leche donut. Gooey gobs of dulce de leche sauce and slices of banana oozing out with every bite. It is flipping HEAVEN.
One day I'd like to try Dynamo's coffee, too, but I can't seem to make it down 24th Street without first stopping at Philz (again, blame it on the self control failure)... so I'm not sure if that will ever happen.
My sister and I went to the walk up window today because I'd heard about the maple bacon doughnut hype. Well, that one wasn't my favourite. The winner? The banana de leche. It was out of this world! Yes, it was dessert and had real banana chunks inside. It was moist, smooth, and delicious. The other four (!) we tried were good too and I'd recommend the pumpkin chocolate chip. Follow them on Twitter to get their daily flavor updates.
I had a pineapple donut that had just a hint of candied ginger.
Delish.
So I came with high expectations... but I guess that was my downfall.
After asking people in line what they suggested it came down to the maple glazed bacon. Upon reaching the front of the line I kindly asked for one, but only to be rejected with the "WE ARE ALL OUT." Mind you, this is 8 in the morning... really? all out already? Instead, I opted for a vanilla and a blueberry corn donut. While both were good, they definitely were not great... AND definitely not worth the $3 price tag.
Maybe if I was rich and had nothing better to do then spend over $30 on a dozen of these donuts to impress my friends? or would they just laugh that I spent $30 on a dozen donuts?
The novelty hasn't worn off yet. Ordered a bacon maple donut w/ a cappucino today and it was super fantanstic ... wife thought it was kind of wierd, but I loved it! Way to start off the day.

Do you remember the Carl's Jr. ad campaign promoting their Six Dollar Burger for just $3.95? I always found that premise strange, but effective. When I was told that Dynamo sells Three Dollar Donuts, I figured I could get them for 95 cents apiece. Nope, the $3 donuts here really do cost $3.
Just so we're clear, that's $3 each.
Well, as my friend told me, "think of it as a pastry." There's some truth to that, I suppose. I mean, dozens of people stand in line at Tartine (http://www.yelp.com/bi...), gladly shelling out $3.50 for a morning bun . . . why not pay $3 for a donut?
We showed up at 8:15 am last Saturday and found a nice parking spot less than a block away. I was prepared to wait in line, but I was pleasantly surprised to see 1 person in front of us. The guy behind the counter was moving very slowly, so I had a chance to look up at the green awning and take in the aroma of coffee and donuts.
According to their website, they offer 15 or so varieties of donuts, but only 5-6 at a time. The donuts are made in small batches right on the spot, so once they're gone, you have to wait for the next batch. We made it our mission to try as many donuts as possible, although I couldn't bring myself to try the bacon one. I love donuts and I love bacon, but . . . look, strawberry jam and hot dogs are great, but a hot dog topped with strawberry jam? Exactly.
The donuts were very fresh, but very cake-y and too sweet. The chocolate star anise donut tasted more like a slice of chocolate cake or a moist brownie. Lemon Thyme and Apricot Cardamom were pretty good, but not spectacular. The vanilla bean was very plain, and again, too dense and cake-y. A large cup of Four Barrel Coffee ($2.50) was not too large, but the coffee was very good.
A word about the people who work there: every one was very nice, friendly and talkative. I liked the seating area, which opened to the actual bakery. You could watch the dough being kneaded and the lard being transferred from one container to the other. Fun stuff. You can also read some of the donut themed literature resting on the shelves. My favorite? A collection of children's poems entitled If I Were A Donut.
Homer Simpson was right when he said: "Donuts . . . is there anything they can't do?"
2-yr-old daughter liked watching bakers bake, then shrieked when she saw the large colorful donuts. It was her first time seeing donuts; maybe I should have conditioned her to donuts with something simpler like a Krispy Kreme.
meh
Stopped in last week while in the neighborhood. Ordered coffee and a Coconut donut.. well not impressed the doughnut, was heavy and tasteless. I managed to eat a few bites and gave the rest to my friend..I want my money back oh the coffee bitter and acidic...drank half of cup and rode my bike to Stable for some good coffee..I do like the sidewalk counter..but not worth $3..boohooo
Dynamo Donuts and Coffee has created "Necropolis" Donut in honor of San Francisco's ONE CITY ONE BOOK: "Alive in Necropolis" by Doug Dorst.
http://sfpl.org/news/o...
And I happened to be one of the lucky ones to attend this private event where Dynamo Donuts were served. Call this a modern day miracle since I've been wanting so bad to get to Dynamo Donuts to try the Maple Bacon Donut!
So, I swallowed my shame and positioned myself by the donut table. I discreetly grabbed one of each to try. (I will never pass up this opportunity!)
I went straight for the real deal: MAPLE BACON: Wow! Melt in your mouth. Generous crispy bacon bits. I love the combination of the sweet and the savory. My mouth was happy! I finished the whole thing!
CHOCOLATE ROSEMARY: Not my favorite but it is still good. Exotic flavor. Not sweet. Subtle flavor of rosemary. Good balance between not too sweet chocolate and the herbs. I had two bites.
CORNMEAL BLUEBERRY: Dynamo created this flavor in honor of "Alive in Necropolis." Another melt in your mouth. I expected the donut to be gritty because of the cornmeal but it's not. Just smooth with hint of blueberries without the tart taste. I ate half.
People, Dynamo Donuts are NOT overhyped! They are good even when they are no longer hot. If you're going to ruin your diet and eat donuts, make sure they are Dynamo Donuts. Totally worth the yummy calories!!!!
Possibly the best donuts in the city. At $3 a piece, they definitely are not a daily indulgence, but then again, what donuts are? The coffee is weak and overpriced (more expensive than gourmet chains in the city), but I guess they know it's silly to get a donut without a coffee. The set-up is great, and the service super-friendly. Enjoy!
