Yelp helped me find another gem! Audrey is so good. I have pretty coarse/ wavy hair and get hesitant about layers because I worry that it would make my hair more voluminous than it already is. She did a wonderful job and was able to frame my face nicely. I got my hair washed, cut, and styled for $25 (without tip). Not bad considering I once paid $60 for the same services and I HATED my haircut.

I have A LOT of hair, and genuinely feel bad for anyone who has to cut it. There was one time when I got a cut and the lady was complaining the whole time that I had "soooo much hair." Not fun when someone has sharp shears next to your face. Audrey is funny, sweet, and gets 5 stars for making me feel and look like I have beautiful hair.

She also uses great products - Chi flat iron and products. Audrey does a lot of services like formal hair (for weddings, proms, etc.) and  chemically straightens hair ( also using Chi products which have less harsh chemicals).

This place was a bit hard for me to find. If you are heading north on Pioneer it is on the right side, right across from McDonalds. It is in a retail complex that has a Days Inn and is on the second floor.

Would recommend this place to anyone!

Never have I paid under $20 (w/o tip) for an awesome haircut!
Audrey is the best ever!
I always make sure to wait to get my haircut by her when I am in the area!!!  Only for $18, I got a shampoo, stylish cut, and awesome style!
Audrey also listens to what you want and advises what can work with your hair.
The business is family operated so I enjoy coming here!!!  But make sure to make an appointment with Audrey because she can be booked all day! ;)

Good deal at $16 for haircut (+ $1 if you get a shampoo).  I asked for Audrey based on these Yelps and said I only wanted a trim on my long hair. I also commented that my hair is a little flat, so she suggested some layers in the back.

I gave her the ok and told them I want subtle, not drastic.  Well, she trimmed my hair, but she gave layers that are literally 4" ABOVE my longest length of hair.

I look like a f*cking sewer rat with a layer of long ass hair underneath my top layer of short jagged hair.  Hate it.

I'm giving a higher rating than how much I hate my hair because:

1. Good value (and I tipped 50% just because)
2. Audrey is really nice and sweet
3. Shit happens

Haircuts are like tattoos, once you get one you become an addict - at least when Audrey's your stylist. I came back here to cut off 4 inches (and pounds) of hair. Was kind of sad when I left thinking I made a mistake. Gone was my long hair and once *I* try to style it, it'll turn into one of those awful Asian shags.

Came home and the boyfriend loved it. Washed my hair and loved it. Blew dry it and loved it. Audrey does the best layers.

AND SHE STILL SAW ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS 30 MINUTES LATE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! How great is that!? All for $18.

1 star for the price. $16 for a cut and blow dry (no shampoo) is nearly impossible to beat.

1 star for Audrey. I really like her personality, she's friendly and chatty but not fake. She asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and doesn't use the razoring technique! (I hate it when my hair is cut with a razor; it just makes your hair look frayed! I don't understand why so many Asian salons think it looks good.) She also gave me some tips about how to style my hair and take care of it.

1 star for the cut. Basic long layers, looked great at the time. Looks pretty good when I blow dry it. But when I just let it air dry it just kinda sits there.

I think it's a good option if you want a basic cut at a good price.

Audrey, the stylist here is really great. She knows how to cut your hair according to your hair type. She is also very quick and sweet.
It is also a lot cheaper than other salons. Yes, it may not be the lap of luxury, but you come there for the haircut, not a glass of champagne.

I only gave if it four stars though because its very tiny, and she only works certain days.

UPDATE: Since I wrote this review, Audrey has started working at the salon 5 days a week. Make an appointment, especially for Valentines Day..I think she said that she is having special prices for Valentines Day..look  drop-dead gorgeous for your special someone.

Haven't been back in awhile since I thought my friend Audrey had taken a break from here but I guess she is still there. 8) It's her family's shop and she is a sweetheart and she does a good job cutting hair, I was always happy with my results. I had my first threading done here. Maybe it's time for me to make another visit here.
