I'm sitting in the lobby of my hotel, waiting for madre, snacking on some of the candy I got at Dylan's last night.
This is place is stimulation overload. Between all the colors and the candy everywhere, and the sugar rush you get from just inhaling in the store, oh man. Call me Charlie and give me that Golden Ticket because I felt like I was in Wonka's factory. [Wonka candy is on the lower level.]
I perused one wall of sugary yumminess and then found a bag and started digging in. A few chocolate covered pretzels, lots of licorice, a few scoops of varying kinds of sour candy, and some bubblegum to top it off. What I've had is good, gum, sour candy, pretzels. I'm sure the licorice is good, but I have to wait to try them. I also got my dad some of the gingerbread maltballs. They will make a great birthday present for him as his favorite candy is Whoppers...or Whoopers as he likes to say.
Mom and I saw the fudge bar, took a look, and decided that fudge is what my brother would want. They have a deal, buy 4 squares, get 2 free. Pumpkin Pie, Peanut Butter Explosion, S'Mores, Orange Dreamsicle, Ducle de Leche, and...something else. She gave us a sample of the S'Mores and Pumpkin Pie and holy crap. It's all I can say.
Minus one star because it's expensive.
I am not a huge candyphile but this place is fun... You feel like you have somehow stumbled upon (Willy Wonka, Michael Jackson, or the Local Priests) secret child luring stash. (whichever you find least offensive)... It really is just a fun place, there are all kinds of free samples, and if you are sneaky enough you can pretty much sample whatever you want... When you are in here spending your paycheck on empty calories try and not think about all of the starving children all over the world, it really ruins the experience... Hey, we are in America, we are supposed to spend 20 billion a year on sweets! Duh... (wow, how did this post become political? whatever)...
Come check it out, you know you want to.
For a candy store it's HUGE. If you're a tourist you'll luv it. If you're a local you'll ask why it's so expensive - though the free tastes are cheaper. :-)
They DO have a large selection of everything sweets related with the hard candies, chocolates, candy bars, pez, fudge, etc. so that's how they got the 3rd star but if you want a kid's party there be ready to take out a 2nd mortgage.
It's just a fun little spot away from most of the touristy things to see in NYC. Lots of candy, though the pickins' are pretty much what you'd see in most other candy shops. Go upstairs to the bar, however, and have good ice cream, cupcakes, and drinks. The hot chocolate was so thick it took two of us to finish it off, and that wasn't without it's sugar-induced consequences... At least it tasted great?
Are you kidding me?? I can take a tube about 4ft long and fill it with any flavor sugar I want from a faucet?? My teeth hurt just walking into this place. 3 floors of sugar, sugar, and more sugar. They also sell gift baskets, some clothes and other non-sugary boring stuff. Who can settle for gummy bears when you can have gummy soldiers, people, divers, submarines and octopus. You can reenact 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in stop-motion gummy candy form! There is even red communist soldiers. There is also all things sour in every imaginable flavor. Fudge, chocolate, ice cream. The 2nd floor cafe also rivals Serendipity which is up the block and usually about an hour or two wait. It is expensive as the fill your own bag is about 13/lb. Part of it is NY tourist prices the other part is all the waste from little kids dropping scoops of candy onto the floor.
i really like this place, but the prices are pretty damn high. i saw one of my favorite chocolate bars from the UK here for about $4 .. the next day i saw it at stop and shop for $1.50 ... Dylan's is still damn cool, but they know the people shopping here have piles of money to burn i guess.
since the renovation the place is HUGE .. 3 floor of non-stop sugar. check out the clear stairs filled with candy. some interesting jewelry and non-edible items too.. i expected the clothes to be a little better quality coming from the daughter of mr ralph lauren (lipschitz).

this place is a candy store and a whole lot more - ice cream, gourmet hot chocolate and its always… Read more »
This place was awesome! All the employees were really nice, happy and all DANCING!!!! It made me smile!
I'm huge on sour candy...HUGE! I also love gummy candies. So I went up to one of the nice workers and told her my candy requirements and she directed to an entire section dedicated to me! This was a terrible thing for me because I spent way too much money on candy!
I also found the MOST SOUR CANDY EVER! Coming from me this has to be EXTREMELY SOUR AND IT WAS! It was something like a sour blue cola popper...I can't remember the exact name but it was EXTREMELY SOUR...for 5 seconds. I had two at once and I started crying and had no feeling in my tongue for the rest of the day! And this is coming from a guy who eats sour candy like apples, I never cry from sour candy haha!
Fun place to visit, but not a lot of candy I wanted to buy.
So I bought everlasting gobstoppers. I hadn't seen them in so long!
Having said that, though, there's a lot of variety but not a lot of depth to what they carry. I was hoping they'd have a lot more old fashioned type candies that you can't find anymore. My friend wanted a particular brand of gummi bears, but they didn't carry it. They do have their own line of candies, though. The cocktail chocolates would make excellent NY souvenirs for the chocolate-loving lush in your life.
There's a chocolate fountain, but you can't dip in it yourself. Look for someone carrying a tray of fudge and chocolate samples, though. The best thing about Dylan's is the decor. There are gigantic lollipops coming out of the displays and candy in the staircases. Worth a short stop if you're in the area and have never been before.
Oh, and they have gummi candy that looks like bacon. In a package that looks like it belongs in the refrigerator. Cool.
Dylan's Candy Bar is the crème de la crème of candy shop. Three heavenly floors of sugariness right in the heart of Manhattan, with over five thousands type of candies to indulge your sweet tooth. They have a Cafe and lounge area upstairs that serves a variety of sweet delicacy: cotton candy ice cream, frozen yogurt, incredibly sweet sundaes ($20), s'mores ($15), chocolate fountain with varies dipping selection, huge cupcakes, etc.
Besides the blissful candies, Dylan also offers decadent beauty product line. My favorite one was the chocolate cupcake candy butter cream. It smells so good on my hands that I was tempted to chomp on myself. *tear*
I minus two stars for a few reasons: 1) Price. Now, I can understand why the imported candies can by pricey; however, for regular store bought candies, i.e. common gummy bear flavors should not be $12.99/lb. same goes for Sour Patch Kids, Peach Rings, Sour Belts, etc. Any candies that can be bought at 7/11 quickie-mart or grocery stores should be reasonably price, not inflated because of their location.
2) They actually have a personal bodyguard/security?! Okay, I feel safe. Thank you. But do they have to be so rude?! Instead of simply stating or kindly asking a paying customer, "Excuse me miss/sir, you can't take pictures of the candies in here." The vile security yelled at customers for taking pictures. Hello?! You should thank us for taking pictures, wasting our time writing reviews, and giving you free advertisement. His behavior was so repugnant; I wanted to throw my bags of candies at him, but it would be such a waste of goodies.
Would I be back? For laughs and giggles, yes. If it is convenience, I'll stop by. If not, I will not make the effort to go here.
A very fun place if you are a child. A very scary place if you have a child that sees this place. I used to walk by here when me BF lived nearby and I would always see the place mobbed with kids + tourists. So one day, I felt like being a kid and a tourist, and I took a quick detour inside. All of a sudden I felt this adrenalin rush (and NO i did not sneak a sample) and felt immensely happy immediately. Now I believe it. Its not love that makes the world go round. Its candy! Candy, candy and more candy! For a minute, I felt like I was in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. But alas, I had to wake up from the fantasy, I made a decision, and bought just a little bit of sour apple belts. BTW...this place is atrociously expensive. Go to your nearby Duane Reade to get your fix ;-) I walked out, and poof, back to reality. But seriously, this place is great corporate idea, and makes all parents cringe.
Willy Wonka. Seriously. Don't even pretend you aren't going to buy someting and then dig into it immediately.
So so awesome fun. Go play already!
We had walked much of midtown by the time I decided that I would like to go to Dylan's Candy Bar. She was initially surprised when I told her that I could use a shake before we headed back to the dreaded UES. Figuring that I had finally turned a corner and joined her in the dark side of sugar heaven, she became elated.
I was mostly curious to see what the craze was about and expected DCB to be a zoo, littered with bratty kids begging their uber wealthy parents for a sugar fix.
We entered and dodged both parents and children alike and ascended to the second floor. The second floor is the place to have a birthday party, and also the place to order shakes, sundaes, floats, etc. She ordered the classic root beer float and enjoyed it. I had the frozen hot chocolate, technically named Chocolate Derby. It was comprised of chocolate syrup, chocolate "espresso," malt balls, whip cream, and a chocolate chip cookie. The total for both items ordered: $15.24.
We sat and enjoyed our frozen treats when I made a comment about the nuisance that was the birthday party that was unfolding simultaneously. She noted that it was a cool place to have scores of toddlers running around hopped up on sugar. Then she confessed, "Heck, this would be a great place for me to have my birthday party."
My frozen chocolate was great and provided me with a brain freeze, which was a pleasant reminder that I had the required equipment between the ears to qualify for such an affliction.
DCB can be a hassle and I probably won't make it a regular stop, but it's good to know that such a place exists. I think part of the reason that this place is so appealing, aside from the candy, is the visual layout and the intense color that is incorporated throughout.
At least I can say I've been to DCB. I'm not sure if it's uniquely New York, but it doesn't matter because I'm more hooked on sugar than those little demons running around. I'm the biggest kid!
Fun place to visit but way over priced! Bring visitors here to take pictures and check out the different candy but quite frankly, I'd rather buy my candy at Walgreens when there's a chocolate sale.
Yes, I know a whole bag of candy corn only costs 99cents at duane reade...but do you get to march up and down candy covered stairs to pay for it at duane reade???
NOOOOO!
Doesthat make it worth the extra $5?
NOOOOO!
I'm over the "Willy Wonkaness" of it all.
Holy hell. Talk about high blood pressure heaven! 3 floors of candy goodness (well the 3rd floor is a cafe).
All the candy you'll find at a candy store like say, Sweet Factory, will be on the 2nd floor. Various sour gummies, licorice, etc. I didn't spend much time on this floor. No cashiers were open either. The bottom floor is where it's poppin'!
You have your various colors of MnM's, an assortment of candy you don't see anymore (Bazooka, candy gum cigerettes, blue razz pop rocks), jelly beans, and a whooooole section of chocolate. I seriously felt like a kid in a candy store! I didn't know what to get. I had a basket and I started throwing in candy. That's when I noticed the prices. Um yeah. Sooo put the candy I didn't want back.
If you are looking to buy candy as a gift for someone, I suggest you go for one of those plastic paint buckets or tin lunch pails. The plastic holder itself is $5.00 and if you choose to fill them up it's a total of $15.00. Either that or you can just go for the other bagillion gazillion choices they have in this place.
They have a bunch of cash registers but not many cashiers to work them. We stood in this long line where 2 cashiers could have easily been working them but there was only 1 cashier and the 2nd girl was helping the cashier bag up the candy. We saw a different pair of registers behind us with a girl standing there so we went up to her. She stares at us dumbfounded and says, "Oh there are registers here but they can ring you up over there." Okay? We went back to the original line. When we turned around we noticed that same chick was ringing someone up!
Cute and fun little place.
Look, i love candy. and chocolate. and ice cream. So this was really something!
Dylan's is the cutest, and i know that shouldn't even matter, but it does to me! I felt like a kid, literally, and i just wanted to get everything! But of course i didnt. -_-
The salespeople are nice and friendly, and everything in here, again, is too cute. From the decor, atmosphere, to the music. Everything is just capable of putting you into a happier mood. It's like heaven.
HBP heaven.
Hm. Oh well.
Don't like:
-The crowd
-The expensiveness of it all
-The crowd
-The lack of priority for chocolate
Love:
-The service
-The candy
-The selection
-The candy
-Free samples of fudge
-Chocolate fountain
-The candy
This is a great place to wander if you're bored or broke or have a sweet tooth or all 3! Didn't make it to the cafe upstairs, but I'm sure it's just as glorious and overpriced.
This place is Great! If you have a sweet tooth and need to fufill your sweet needs this is the place to come to when your in new York! They have every type of candy you can think about, they have 3 floors OF candy what can you say!!!!
On the Lower Floor they had a Bathtub Filled with Jelly Beans, they also have Chocolate, Licorice, from Stuff i havent even heard of to everything i have heard of and havent found for a while.
I came here in 08 and when i go back up to new york i will make sure to make Dylan's Candy Store one of my Stops.
This candy store puts the M&M World store over in Times Square to shame. If Willy Wonka were real, I'm pretty sure he'd love it here. I only ended up buying jelly beans and a few overpriced chocolate bars for memory's sake. I would say it's more of a touristy spot, but if you're looking for a candy fix, you'll definitely find it here.
Modern day interpretation of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. I really felt like Charlie walking in to the store. Overwhelming was probably the right word along with the line at the door and the amount of people in the store.
What about a $1-$2 for a Rice Krispies Treats/Smores/Bananas/Strawberries/Pretzels that you could dip in a chocolate fountain. Yes, real 3 tiered chocolate fondue fountain. Yum!
Not to mention their 3 floor building full of all kinds of sweets, from cotton candy, sweet lounge/cafe upstairs and all kinds of novelty candies downstairs.
A candy theme building, not only the candies inside the store but every little detail of this store is just unbelievable. This place is just dangerous, for both kids and adults. I guess I now could relate to Charlie while he was visiting Willy Wonka's factory.
As a result, 8 chocolate bars for family and friends. I hope they are brave enough to try Bacon flavored Chocolate. Would be back again, without a doubt!
DYLANS!!
ive seen so many reviews about this place.. and its funny how i never been here when i go to nyc to often.. so my last visit.. i went! heheh
there was so many candies to see, eat, and look at~ i loved the chocolate bars with those.. meanings... like bochox, chocolate addict, girth-control? hehhe i bought a few for my friends~
the stairway to candy heaven... the candies on the steps... it was just cantastic! i loved everything from the chocolate lotions to the candy rain boots!! everything was a lil wayyy over priced.. but i guess they have to charge you that if they want to rent that huge store in the upper east side.. :)
Not a fan. This probably has something to do with the fact that I just don't like candy that much. Unless it's chocolate with peanut butter.
This is like FAO Schwartz for candy. Full of children running around squealing. And so much color everywhere! It's just not for me! If you are a 15 year old who loves candy go here, or if you have an obsession with candy also.
On a random note, why on earth does this place have bath products and makeup products that I can buy in Sephora. Weirds me out. I don't want to bathe in candy!
As soon as I come inside this place, I smile. The decor and atmosphere puts you in a happy mood. Love the music they play like "candy girl"
Love the candies and chocolates they have, it is expensive but its really nice. I usually buy Dylans assortment box chocolates.
The salespeople there are nice and friendly... The people shopping can be stuffy, snotty and rude--ignore them, it can get very crowded.
Love the ice cream cafe upstairs, beautiful, great views...Never crowded, though the rest of the store always is.
One thing i noticed is how some people were told not to take pictures inside or video.. Personally i dont get that, i havent taken photos myself there but its the type of place u want to. This is not a musuem right? lol
Candy heaven! Pick and choose by the pound or buy packaged ones.
There's something to please every sweet tooth from gummis to gumballs to chocolate to jelly beans. Great spot to pick up gifts to bring back for friends. Also great time killer if you're waiting for a table at Serendipity 3.
P.S. Their chocolate bars were yummy! I loved the malt and hazelnut ones!
Dylan's is a 10-year-old's dream! Very over the top. Loved the free fudge samples downstairs! It's a beautiful store. While I wouldn't come here for standard candy purchases, it is worth the trip just for the experience itself. I brought my mom here, and she was overwhelmed to say the least (but in a good way!). I bought a few items, the most impressive of which were cupcakes from Crumbs (review to come later!) Overall, very cute store and I love that they sell "nostalgia candy" but... they didn't have what I wanted!
Beautiful, bright, attractive, inviting, alluring, creative, heavenly set up! I love this place just for the way it's decorated. The candies are just a plus! =D It's two stories of candy goodness, how can you not like it? It's a fun experience, you get to take a lot of pictures and it shows that a lot of celebrities have been there to get their candy fix. I would definitely not come here on a daily basis, maybe just once to see how it is, experience it, then be on your way. It's very expensive for candy! The service is ok, not that bad. I mean you shouldn't expect much although you do because of the set up of this place, but don't! hahah...it's like a sweet factory but done up big time like the Las Vegas Hotels. Come check it out but don't buy too much! Save the money for lunch!
This is one of the most fun places I have ever been to in my entire life! Dylan's has literally every single type of candy in the entire world. Gummy candies? Gummy bears are sorted by color and flavor. Three different sizes of gummy cola bottles. Every flavor sour belt imaginable. They even have gummy lobsters, teeth, brains, penguins, and CHICKEN FEET!!!!!! So many different kinds of licorice, and every imaginable kind of chocolate covered WHATEVER: graham crackers, espresso beans, graham crackers, etc. Plus, I can't forget about the packaged candy, like Nerds, M&M's, and crazy European stuff you'd never find on this side of the pond!
They have a great selection of Dylan's-branded clothing, mugs, and even body products like lotion, scrubs, and washes, should you choose to smell like chocolate or vanilla frosting.
This may sound crazy, but I swear, the candy here is FRESH. Really fresh! Probably because there are so many people coming in and out, but the gummy candies were super chewy and delicious. It was apparent they hadn't been sitting around for too long.
It wasn't deserted when we were there, but it also wasn't an uncontrollable mob, either.
I love this place!
If you want a tourist, expensive pretty candy store that sells all the run of the mill candies go to Dylan's.
If you want to go where New Yorkers go to get any type of candy discounted hugely go to Economy Candy in the Lower East Side.
I'm a native New Yorker....that's where I go.
Dylan's mixes two of the world's most perfect foods, white chocolate & gummy bears, and combines them to make one of my favorite sweets ever. The only bad thing is, they sell it in bulk, so left to my own devices, I can spend $50 on gummy bears alone.
They also sell candy from my childhood, stuff that makes me nostalgic like Neccos, Chuckles and Abba Zabba ("Abba Zabba, you're my best friend!!!")
This candy store is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area: they have pretty things, things in bright packages, sweet things, sour things and hard to find things. It's two floors of sweet treats; It's a candy store on steroids!
Have been here a few times and immediately headed upstairs upon entry to attack the chocolate fountain... and it wasn't there. Backup plan was to head downstairs to the basement and purchase the following: snickers cluster (lame), mini-M&M chocolate covered pretzel (death row last meal dessert - good), chocolate covered oreos (pretty good) and chocolate covered strawberries (what do you think... ridic).
Post head rush, stomach ache, I made my way downstairs to discover the chocolate fountain was hidden on the main level - bastards. Love this place - come here to be kid (in case the other reviews didn't cover it, yeah - it's like Candyland), browse, have ice cream or to just have one chocolate covered something... at least check it out.
This is such a fun store. I seriously wish I was a kid again. SWEETS everywhere... as if I've died and gone to heaven. I would've given it a 4 star if it's not because of the kid's party next to their cafe. I was enjoying my "simply perfect" frozen hot chocolate, while all the brats are next door. I know I should love kids and all, but man.. are they irritating or what!!! ...especially with all that sugar in their blood. If Dylan's want me to give them a 4 star, then they need to build a sound proof room for us adults to enjoy our sweets!!!!
My friend said Dylan's was a famous store but I had never heard of it. I didn't know Dylan Lauren was the daughter of designer Ralph Lauren! It is like a mini Willy Wonka factory!
My initial thought walking was "it's a decent size candy shop, nothing impressive" until my friend took me to the lower level and upper level. My jaw dropped when we descended to the lower level. I had nostalgia looking at all the old school candies that were offered. I had the toughest time resisting myself from purchasing anything.
One thing I thought was very entertaining were people of all ages scooping and bagging candies, their facial expression and stance are hilarious. You can imagine yourself in their shoes, have a huge smile and think "This is candy heaven!"
This store will definitely catch your eye! Once you step inside you get that warm, fuzzy feeling of excitement; I felt like I was 6 years old again!
There is a HUGE selection of candy. It is quite expensive though.
The ambiance is great for children; I'd love to throw a birthday party here! It's nice to go there every once in awhile, but unless you're absolutely addicted to the rare and unusual finds, you probably won't be here frequently.
Could there be anything better. Things are a little pricey......just go. You'll be glad you did. They have Crumbs cupcakes!
It's not as jam-packed as Economy Candy (downtown on Rivington), but Dylan's holds its own as a fun place to shop with an extensive selection of candy. It's impossible to be unhappy here!
I've always had quite the killer sweet tooth, so when a friend took me to Dylan's Candy Bar, I was in heaven.
First of all, simply walking in to this establishment is a treat. While I think they would benefit from turning the music down a bit and hearkening back to the candy-store days of old (not that I ever experienced one of these places, but the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory candy store scene has made a lasting impression), shopping here is an experience. The bright colors, the candy-laced staircases, the t.v.s playing old candy commericals...it's all cute and sweet.
I am a fanatic of all things gummy, and Dylan's has gummy candy in bulk spades! From gummy rats to gummy brains to simple ol' gummy bears, if you love gelatin (and don't think too hard of how it's made...gross), you will drool when you spot the entire two walls dedicated to it.
Upstairs is an ice cream parlor that I unfortunately did not have the time to seek out. Downstairs is...more candy. Chocolate delights in one room, strange and vintage candy in another. And maybe the best part: for as shiny as everything appears, it's not that expensive! I pay more at my usual bulk-candy spot than I did at Dylan's, and got a wider variety of yummy goods.
I have a crazy sweet tooth and whenever I see a cute chocolate store or a cute candy store, my mouth cannot resist and I have to go in. Even if it's just browsing, I still have to go in. Most people don't care all too much for candy stores (like my friends that I was traveling with) but Dylan's Candy Bar is like the mecca of all candy shops. It has two levels of pure candy lovers' delight. There were stairs leading up to another floor but I think it's for party reservations.
I couldnt resist not getting something before I left so I shelled out about $15 for pop-lid container and filled that baby up with all sorts of sure-to-rotten-your-teeth goodies. They also have cute store bags (if you're into that thing like me)
Would I go here again? Possibly, but it's one of those seen it once/ done it once. However, if I were in New York again and had a huge sugar craving, I'll probably head over to Dylan's for a chocolate bar or two.
If you're a candy fanatic, you definitely need to hit up Dylan's Candy Bar! If you love the taste of candy, the packaging, little trinkets that go with it, Dylan's Candy Bar is definitley your 'go-to' spot.
There are 3 floors to this crazy place. I didn't go to the 3rd floor b/c it was only a cafe and we didn't need to indulge ourselves in anymore sweets at the moment since we were on our way to Serendipity 3 for some frozen hot chocolate!! hehe!
The bottom floor houses all the brand-named candies from M&Ms, to Snickers, to Razzles, etc. You can buy their candy as well as their plush pillows, T-shirts, etc. They even sell papabubble in here! (of course, at a marked up price).
The main floor houses all of Dylan's Candy Bar's own candy. From their giant jaw breakers to lollipops to fruity flavored mints and gum. Don't forget that they also sell Crumbs cupcakes in here! I didn't buy one from Dylan's b/c I wanted to go to the actual Crumbs shop itself (which I didn't get a chance to -- sad face).
I walked out of here happy after having purchased a Dylan's Candy Bar T-shirt that states, "POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME" -- holla to Def Leppard!!
Surely this is among the top-20 most overhyped places in all of Manhattan.
There's a bunch of candy. Wow. And 95% of it is the same "bunch" of candy that I can buy at Walmart, Target, or ShopRight.
Whooptyfrickin' doo.
The reality is, this place wouldnt be anywhere near this popular if it were not for the TONS of free publicity it receives due to the fact that it's owned by Ralph Lauren's (aka Ralph Lifshitz) kid. I guess "Lifshitz" didnt have the requisite high-end ring to it?
Even so, how does this place turn much of a profit will that massive 3-level corner lot space in Manhattan near the subway? The lease must be crazy expensive! If you're in the area and have kids that want to check it out, have at it, but this is certainly not a place worth making a crosstown trip to or a place that a tourist should waste precious vacation time on.
On the freakin' good ship, man. This place is candy galore--two levels worth. I mean, the candy they sell is really no different than any other candy they sell in other candy stores, but they do have a broad selection, including nostalgic treats like candy buttons, candy lipsticks, fun dip, cigarettes, and my personal fav--caramellos. The initial draw to the place is the fact that it's owned by the daughter of Ralph Lauren, but then you get past that, and realize it's only the cutest store ever. Their logo is adorable and everything inside is uber-colorful from the candy stairs leading to the basement level to the ceiling art in the form of lollipops. I walked out of this place with two bags of loot, scoopers still blazin', and sweet teeth in gear.
By far, my best decision were the white chocolate covered gummy bears that I shoveled by the 100's into my baggie....and my mouth. They also have a ton of cutesy merchandise that I'm sure little girls would love (and a few little boys, although they probably don't know why yet). My cousin ended up buying a candy scented body wash, which I know she'll regret when she's walking down the street and a line of ants start following her. A freak death waiting to happen.
As a visitor to NYC, I must say It's a great stopover location to kill time before heading somewhere else. Maybe you can pick up dessert for later, like I did. Or maybe, just maybe, you can spend all day here.** I'm telling ya, it instantly puts a smile on your face. If you could've seen the smile on my face when I entered....well, you probably would've been creeped out.
**Footnote: If you spend all day here, you're probably a pedophile. Just so you know.
