Went here for coffee because I was kinda of sick of DD. I got a hot cup of coffee with steamed milk. I wanted hazelnut and their syrup was too sweet. (maybe the lady pumped too much)
It was not bad, and I do like the steamed milk concept.
I think I'll come back, but just try another type of beverage.

I used to have a study group here but to be honest the only good thing about the place is the coffee and free wifi. Like others have said the bands in the evening, while cool are way to loud (you can't talk to the person next to you loud) and the seating is uncomfortable.

This place is top on my list to get real good freshly roasted unflavored coffee!  What makes them so much better is that they have this $35K roaster sitting at the front of the store that allows them to roast the coffee on daily basis.  Wholefood also roasts their coffee inhouse, but their coffee still cannot compete with Dunn's.  Maybe it is due to the roaster quality or the bean it self.

There is a Starbuck's shop exactly across the street from Dunn.  The local policemen used to frequent Starbuck's until they found it closed on Thanksgiving Day.  So naturally they ended up at Dunn and never went back!

IMHO their full city roast gives the fullest aroma.  The dark roast is more for people who like French coffee, bitter, due to longer roasting period.  Coffee is acidic by nature, so it will take our body calcium deposit if taken plain.  For health tip, add some milk to reduce the acidity.  Enjoy it!

I used to really like Dunn Bros, but recently they've started bring in bands, jazz and whatnot in the evenings.  But it's WAY too loud, at least when I've been there.  Too loud to study, read, engage in conversation or sometimes even to web browse.  (even outside!)  They need to tell some of the people they bring in to turn it WAY down.  It's bad enough to keep me from driving down there in the evening if there is even a chance of someone playing there.

They do have good tea.  I love the free wi-fi and public computer.  The sandwiches for snacks are good and I like some of the deserts.  The option of buying sodas and beer is cool too, although I haven't taken advantage of it.

Get rid of the bands, or make them play quietly and it will be back to a nice coffee shop.

This place is great. Coffee is great.  Not only do they have coffee but they also have fraps, desserts, sandwiches, sodas, and beer. If you don't have a laptop for use of their free wi-fi they actually have 3 public use computers for free. If you go at nights they may have live music playing. The place is on the corner of the strip mall and it really nice decorated inside with art from local artists. Also if you're a smoker they have tables outside so you can chill-ax.

Yeah Charles is right, the music is waaaay to loud with the bands, but otherwise the coffee is really good. Free wifi and a good amount of plugs and seating. It can gets pretty busy sometimes...so catch a seat while you can!

This great coffee shop opened a couple of years ago on the western edge of tourista Beltline. At the time, an instant draw was the free WiFi. I was using it as an office away from home before I opened our actual office. The coffee's great. They roast their own beans in-store and I am never without some grounds at home. It attracts an always surprising range of customers, which is really great to see and even somewhat comforting this far north. What has always set it apart for me is the space. There is so much room to really spread out, and the right kinds of chairs couches and tables to either get work done or have a chat and create your next great plans for hours. No attitude. Cool baristas too who stick around and get to know your order. Everyone I know I've taken there when they come to town. It's a like a little nugget of sanity in Addison that happens to make a killer Carmel Latte Macchiato.
