This was my family's go-to place on Sunday mornings!
My dad would bring over a box of munchkins with a coffee coolatta or my mom would pick up a dozen.
My favorites are the Old Fashioned or the Boston Kreme.
The people who work here are very nice, and if you go at the right time, they might give you a free donut with you dozen purchase.
They've remodeled the interior and it looks very nice and contemporary.
This is a Dunkin Donuts - that tells you most of what you need to know since that's a pretty well known quantity. A few additional notes, however:
First, it is very convenient to the Miami airport. I had a flight that required me to leave before the hotel restaurant opened, but I wanted to grab something before hitting the airport. This fit the bill - added maybe twenty minutes overall vs. going straight to the airport from my hotel near Ft. Lauderdale. My GPS refused to acknowledge 2720 as a legitimate address (chose something in the 5000 range), but it was still easy to find. The service was quick and the food was good. Although the store was small and seemed like it could be cramped with a bigger crowd, at 06:40 on a Friday the dozen patrons filed through easily.
Second, during a week of business trip eating, the egg white flatbread sandwich with turkey sausage was one of the healthier things I had (tasty, hot, and conveniently wrapped too).
Finally, this store participates in the Rewards Network (http://www.rewardsnetw...), which is used by United and others for mileage/cash bonus programs (that's how I found it in the first place). There are many positive reviews through that program by locals, some of whom drive past closer Dunkin Donuts locations to get the bonus points and don't mind doing so because they like the store.
better than most dunkins.
as of late i've been to too many dunkins that are just lacking in the donut department. it's rather lame to walk into a donut shop and they don't have much of a selection. this phenomenon seems to vary from one store to the other in the dunkin donuts chain.
pros..
this store seems to usually be well stocked. service is fast. they have free wifi! there's plenty of seating even though the place is a little cramped. their flatbread sandwiches are pretty good if your in a hurry and sick of burgers.
cons..
place can get really cramped during the breakfast rush. if your claustrophobic you may want to come after the morning rush has passed. the counter layout results in a really cramped store at times.
When i go they do have plenty of donuts but they dont taste very good. they are too sticky. The drinks are not to good either. the place is small
