When the estimate said $90 for four hours to clean a three bedroom (and it's a small three bedroom - 700 sq feet or so), I really didn't expect to come back four hours later and find the cleaning person still hard at work. She cleaned every nook and cranny and took great care to move everything to vacuum and mop underneath.
My husband and my mom both raved about the results. Our place was in pretty good shape before she came, but Julia (I think that was her name) spent a good hour in the bathroom to make it sparkle - seriously, the bathtub was shiny!
I LOVE that you can schedule and pay for your cleanings online. Great system! I do wish, however, that there was some more information about how to set up recurring cleanings. -

I think the best way to describe my experience following Dream Clean, is confused. I will allow that I am very particular about how things are arranged. If a pillow isn't in the right place, I move it back. Before I go to bed at night, I make sure everything is folded and put away. A dirty dish in the sink keeps me up.
But, I digress.
After arranging for a deep clean of my apartment (get those winter cobwebs out, quite literally!), I had already prepared myself for the fact that things get moved around - trust me, I'm not that bad. However, when I got home, I was thrown into a state of confusion: excited that my apartment was spotless - they had truly done an amazing job - but that certain items really weren't as I had left them. My curtains were hanging askew off the rod; a poster in its frame was broken and somewhat patched back together and upon inspection of my oven, rubber sealers were hanging off. In my bathroom, the shower curtain and the curtain around my washer/dryer were also hanging off their hooks.
Aside from the oven and poster, not major problems, but I don't get why you wouldn't just put the curtains back on the rods? Leaving a note or calling me about the poster and oven would have also been appreciated.
But for the clean itself, the girls did a great job. I chose the "Deep Clean" package for $146 which equated to a heavy duty top to bottom scrub by 2 cleaners for 3.5 hours. The girls arrived at the tail end of the hour window and quickly walked through the apartment with me, asking questions about what I'd like done, areas to focus on, etc. I was really impressed with how spotless everything was from the tub, washer/dryer, fridge, baseboards, sink, counters, even the crumbs in the couch!
I wouldn't rule out using Dream Clean again - I'd actually like to try them again. But when I do, I'll take it upon myself to stress that things remain as close to how I left them as possible. No one likes to have to walk through the apartment rehanging things after dropping close to $200 with tip.Listed in: Buying an Apartment in NYC?

My mom's apartment was in serious need of a cleaning, and I'm a good daughter, but not THAT good a daughter.
I had some questions, so I called the company and left a message, but no one called me back. I called again and talked to Dior (the owner? manager?) personally. He was very nice and patient and answered all my questions. I was going to go for the deep clean, but he actually steered me toward the standard cleaning with some add-ons, which was cheaper. I appreciated the savings and the honest advice.
The cleaner herself (I think her name was Natalia) was running late and called a half hour ahead to tell me so. That was not a problem, but she was actually later than she estimated. However, when she arrived, she was immediately ready to go. Her English was fine if not super-fluent; I think she understands better than she speaks. I explained how the windows tilted in to clean, my mom told her exactly what was required, and then we left her alone, checking in only occasionally.
Natalia did a great job, for the most part. Everything was left shiny and spotless, and there was no obnoxious smell of cleaning products when she was done. (The company provides the products; you have to provide a broom, vacuum, toilet bowl brush, mop and bucket.) The windows were perfect. The only quibble is that one of the blinds in the living room was still a bit dusty in one area.
I will definitely call Dream Clean again, and I wouldn't hesitate to ask for Natalia. It was just over $100 (4-5 hrs) for a 1BR/1BA, which included windows; my mom added a tip. This was a serious cleaning, and I think subsequent visits will be less.
Pros:
* Web site is great for info, estimates, and booking appointments. You can still talk to a human if you want to.
* Dior is professional to deal with and honest in his advice.
* Natalia was friendly and personable and did a great job.
* The apartment was very well cleaned.
Cons:
* My first call to Dior went unanswered. Natalia was late (she did call ahead, though).
* She had run out of paper towels and asked to use ours (not a big deal; not sure what she would have done if we had none).
* Blinds were not perfectly cleaned (but everything else was).
* You have to provide the cleaning equipment (not a problem for us, but might be for others). -

I really appreciated that of all the cleaning companies I looked into, Dream Clean has their prices clearly and prominently displayed on their website.
$68 for the standard cleaning of a 1-bedroom. Including 3 hours of cleaning by 1 person.
Using as an indicator that I have never moved my couch to clean under it, I probably should have booked the "deep clean" service for $147, which includes 3 and a half hours and 2 people.
What I ended up getting was a perfect combination for me. Valeria arrived 15 minutes early, greeted me with a smile and immediately changed to get to work. She basically emptied my living room and detailed every surface, then put things back sparkling clean. She also cleaned the hall and bathroom with the same attention to detail. She worked tirelessly for almost 3 and a half hours. Towards the end of the second hour, she said that she had time to finish the bathroom and living room, but didn't think she had time to get to the kitchen. Seeing the level of intensity with which she had cleaned the rest of my space, I understood that her version of cleaning was about 408 times stronger than mine, and that perhaps I should have paid attention to the nice note on the website "If you haven't deep cleaned your apartment for 6 months or more, our deep cleaning service is for you."
This is no "run the vacuum over the rug, dust a bit and empty the trash" service. When they say clean, they mean it. The level of perfection achieved in the rooms she cleaned is so awesome that I want to schedule monthly cleanings with them now.
Also, they supply all the cleaning supplies except for vacuum, mop and broom. Bonus!Listed in: My Harlem., Much like Casseopia, they have…

My apartment was in serious need of a cleaning -- but I had been way too busy to actually pick up a mop or broom. Cue Dream Clean. I had done a lot of research, but they had an easy online calculator that let you choose what you needed to get done and gave you an instant cost.
I came back to my apartment tonight and couldn't be happier. I thought I was walking into a whole new apartment. I'm very happy with this service and will definitely be calling them up again soon. Cost = $67.50 for a studio (3 hours of cleaning). You can add extras and even get deep cleaning for more $$. It's worth it!
Thank you Dream Clean! -

Ok. I just got a cleaning from them last week. One word, TERRIBLE! I specifically asked for my blinds to be cleaned (paid extra) and my floor to be mopped, which a basic cleaning job, but of course, I had to clean them myself afterwards. I left out a brand new mop and bucket, and it wasn't used. WHY? Because she went through my closet to "acquire" my swiffer duster sheets (duster sheets?) to "mop" my floor. Speechless! With that said, consider going somewhere else, or just do it yourself and save yourself $100+.

my stove looks awfull after cleaning. and some part of my place has been left uncleaned, she used wrong material on my steel stove and dishwasher, so basically she damaged all my steel stuff by using bleach on it,
she was tooooo young to know so many thing about cleaning, atleast
u should train ur staff if they had no idea about cleaning.
you guys bettter work on ur performance instead of working on ur high class look webstie of yours.
try to be honest and say less lie on your web.

The housekeeper arrived 45 min late, looked around my apartment, and told me that all she could do in the 3 hr time slot was dust and do very minimal cleaning. She would not touch dishes, things on surfaces, or anything that a normal cleaning service would do. Those, she informed me, were things provided by the 6 hr "deep cleaning." Additionally, she said those things were supposed to have been communicated to me over the phone. Now, I have 2 roommates (which is why I wanted her to stick to the common spaces), so there's a bit of stuff/mess, but a) we're not hoarders, b) the space isn't so large or dirty that I can imagine it taking more than 3 hours, and c) that most definitely was not communicated to me over the phone. She also did not offer to stay to see what she could do with 3 hours. I am extremely disappointed (and frustrated as I had cleared a 3 hour slot from my day for this), and would not recommend you use this service.
