Asians everywhere, haven't heard this much Chinese spoken in a long time! That alone is testimony if this place!

Perfect for veggies and gluten free people!

Worth driving across alley for this stuff. Ginger steam fish, dim sum favs, authentic foods, lots of seafood and sushi. Fresh stir fry to order, lots of sushi, Habachi to order.  Love the lychee, green tea ice cream, moon cakes, always fresh and new items. Not yr typical western pleasing buffet.  ONLY place I can find rice cakes! Yes!

Come here any chance I get.
Reasonable prices, great service.
Make reservations for holidays, especially Mother's Day!

I just recently moved to Plantation, and a couple of friends and I decided to try an all you can eat buffet.  Upon reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided this was our closest and best option.  The atmosphere was good, nothing special but affordable.  The service was mediocre, our drinks were empty for a while, and our plates were not cleared promptly, but nothing too crazy to get upset about.  The food itself was decent, probably enough to get two to three stars for a buffet.  The sushi was decent as well, however I was not a big fan of several of their chicken dishes.  Also, their roasted duck was overcooked.

My big problem with the restaurant was when a friend of mine was putting spicy mayo on his tuna sushi, the tuna fell off and there was a long hair, about four to five inches.  We actually laughed about it, when at the same time my girlfriend was taking a bite from her ice cream and another longer hair was found.  Talk about irony, but was truly disgusting.  Overall this left a poor taste in my mouth, hairs in food do happen, and do happen likely more at buffets.  However, being under the sushi was only the irresponsibility of the sushi chefs, and I still don't understand the ice cream.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, my only advice will be to stay far away.

This buffet has some dim sum foods and more authentic dishes.  Of course, there are americanized dishes, but they don't seem to be touched much.  This place is big, and I know some people have big get-togethers in the separated dining halls.

Well, food is the most important!  For $10 lunch, you are greeted with shrimp dumplings, siu mais, shrimp pastes, sticky rice in bamboo leaves, spicy chicken feet, and the list goes on.  They have plenty of vegetables, and they even have a "cold foods" section with cold chicken, frog legs, chicken feet, etc.  They have a selection of sushi rolls  (about 6-8 varieties... if my memory serves me right).  They even have a hibachi bar now, which I passed.Their baked goods include your typical pineapple buns and pork.  My mom enjoyed the hot soy milk and the rice porridge.

Their dessert area is the same as before.  Tons of cakes and pastries, ice cream, coconut pudding (my favorite!), flan, and fresh fruit.

The food quality is.....acceptable.  It's great food for a buffet, but just average to above average for dim sum.  You really can't complain much since it's a buffet...and it's 10 bucks.  Overall, I'd come here again if you are hungry and don't want to wait for food.  It is great for people new to dim sum since they can try a bunch of foods without worrrying over the check at the end.

Formerly Du Barrys, this Chinese Buffet is a smorgasboard of Chinese food, americanized and otherwise. My family and I went for brunch on Chinese New Year and this place was packed! Here are the dumplings I can recall: siu mai (pork/shrimp),  har gow (shrimp dumpling), potstickers, char siu bao (bbq pork buns), sesame seed balls...nothing too exotic, not much variety...what made it entertaining for me though were the exotic stuff they offered!
Frog legs and chicken feet! Mmmm...mmm...my brother went to town with these true ethnic treats, the frog legs were fried, the chicken feet were marinated in a sweet/spict sauce and fried. I demurred since I'm a wuss like that.
I liked this place for its crab offerings which I crave and don't get at some places in Sofla. I bypassed the snow crabs and tried a Singaporean treat, cheese crab! It's this flavoursome combination of fresh crab meat cooked with cheese in it's shell. I didn't think the two flavors would match but they are quite savory added together! They also had crab balls (a fried dumpling consisting of crab meat coated with a light batter)! My favorite... for dessert, I bypassed the ice cream and tried the coconut jello (which is an old childhood memory) it was alright...for old folks, you also can find chinese jook (rice gruel) and my mom liked the hot soy milk served here. The place here is good to try, I may go back to get my seafood cravings satisfied again!

Yummy!  I go there for dim sum on weekends regularly, and and eat helping after helping of shrimp dumplings (har gow).  The preserved egg conge (pei tan chok) is awesome -- I often grab a bowlful and eat it with a few pieces of roast duck breast.

The desserts are also quite authentic, and includes Chinese favorites such as egg tarts, coconut jelly, and herb jelly with syrup.

The sushi is just so-so.

Easily the best value among the many Chinese/Japanese buffet places in the area.
