My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Jalilie for 2 1/2 years now. I am always pleased with the time she takes with us and have always found her to be extremely nice.
I've also used Dr. Kar in the same office whenever Dr. Jalilie is busy. Dr. Kar is equally compassionate and seems very concerned for my welfare. My blood pressure recently shot up (stress of buying/selling my house, I suspect)...and she didn't just write a prescription....she ran a gamut of tests on me and made sure I was healthy before making the big move to Oregon. I totally appreciated her care. She even threw in a free appointment because she wanted to check on me between appointments.
Meanwhile, my daughter just got the flu and sinusitis and Dr. Jalilie fit her in two hours after I called and gave us her usual undivided attention. I love the way they treat patients here and I can only hope I find someone equally as caring once we move.

Thanks to the first two reviewers, I now have a new primary care physician for both me and my… Read more »
dr jalilie is the worst! she is so rude, and rushes you through the appointment. she will visibly let you know that you are wasting her time by either an exasperated sigh, or telling you to hurry up while rolling her eyes. she doesn't give a crap that you waited for half an hour past your appointment time, only to get shooed out of the office in under 10 minutes. the office staff is also extremely rude and attitudey. they never return your calls! i left a message once, after trying to reach them over 5 times to pay a stupid bill, and i let them know in the message that i was very disappointed with their service and lack of care. so i get a letter from this beeotch who tells me that i have a bad attitude. riiiiiiiiiiiight.
Moving to a new area is stressful, period! Then you throw in trying to find a mechanic, a hair stylist, a massage therapist, doctors, vets, etc.
One of my co-workers recommended Dr. Jalilie.
When I called to make an appointment the receptionist said the first availability for a new patient would be in a week. I was amazed that it was only a week.
I have had my fair share of crappy doctor experiences. It certainly was a nice change to have someone as pleasant and caring as Dr. Jalilie. She is absolutely fantastic! She listened, payed attention to what I was saying and asking, answered my questions completely, and she actually looked me directly in the eye.
I thought doctors didn't know how to make eye contact.
I feel comfortable with her and I would recommend her to anyone.
I heart Dr. Jalilie.
She's been my PCP for several years now. She has a gentle touch, she's young enough that I feel like she understands me, and she always listens patiently to the list of issues I wrote down in preparation for my annual visit.
When I moved to SF, I didn't even consider changing doctors. She's that good.
I love Dr. Jalilie. I've never been one to enjoy the doctor's office and her and her office staff were great, incredibly friendly and helpful, and more than understanding. The location is great and not too public. Dr. Jalilie is quick when she needs to be and lets you get in, get the information you need, and get on your way, without rushing through the important parts. She even helped recommend me to a second opinion if I needed/wanted it.
She met with me for about 2 minutes and rushed me through the whole appointment. I felt as if I was wasting her time. I could not ask any questions without getting an exasperated sign. When I told her that all of the women on my mother's side had died of cancer and that was why I wanted additional screenings, she stated that her mother died of cancer too -- like so what? Not in a commiserating way -- more like -- we all have cancer in our families -- deal with it. I had additional requests for referrals but when she left the room, she never came back and that was the end of that -- she was onto someone else. She never said goodbye, never said hello with hand handshake -- just cold, harsh and rushed.
i love dr. jalilie! she's nice and helpful, makes you feel comfortable, great at answering questions and explaining things to you, etc. etc. simply wonderful. also, there is dr. karr in the same office who is equally wonderful, so if you need an appointment ASAP you can ask for either doctor.
i love dr. jalilie too. she's the best! she's young + understands how i feel too.
The doctor is OK not that great as i thought her to be.I am really having a hard time getting a copy of my Lab report. No one gives a proper response on the phone and they never call back when you leave a message, they will keep you on hold and just vanish.....wont be going back to them.. and ha i haven't got my report yet!!!!!!!!!
