I want to share my wonderful experience of beeing a long term patient of Dr. Gregory Vaysleyb.
My case was one of the most complicated cases in his practice. A year and a half ago I found myself in the situation, when I had to remove all my 9 low teeth with the bridges and to find a solution what to do instead. I got consultations in 4 dental offices, including UCLA. They suggested different treatment plans, but all conversations were mainly about money and time (quick solution), not about health and convinience of the patient. And I am so glad that I've decided to go with Dr.Gregory Vaysleyb. He explained very honestly all risks and details of the case: awful condition of gums, not enough bone, incorrect byte; and he developed a treatment plan for a year. A doctor and his team did an amazing job: I went through several surgeries, they were always friendly, caring, calling after each surgery asking how I feel. I always felt that I could trust my doctor, which is very important. All appointments were on Friday evenings or Saturdays: I was able to work, taking a couple of sick days after surgeries if necessary.
Now I have 10 implants with crowns; and I feel so comfortable as if they were my own teeth.
They also made a very successful removal of the wisdom tooth for my daugter.
I agree with the above review that this is a great doctor with a great team that is very concerned about patients' satisfaction and health, not so much about getting money.
I've recommended this dentist to all my friends.
I would like to say geat "Thank you" to this doctor with warm heart and skillful hands.
if there was a 0 star rating i would give it! He is my mothers dentist, and since she thinks mine is expensive i decided to try dr.gregory out since i needed a simple cleaning. well he found a "tiny cavity" and decided to fill it, well while filling it he touched a nerve and completely RUINED MY LIFEEEE!! a few hours after the filling i went to have a bagel and once i bit on the tooth i knew something was wrong....i was a ridiculous amount of pain.... needles to say i couldnt go back to gregory right away because he had left for the day.... IT WAS 2 O CLOCK! anyways, for the next 2 moths i had to endure an immense amount of pain and pay A LOT of money getting a root canal on that tooth followed by a crown! i will NEVER go back to this man again! he turned my tiny cavity into a horror story. DO NOT GO TO HIM FOR MORE THAN A CLEANING!
Good cleaning. People are very friendly as mentioned above. Dr V barely spends any time with you but if your teeth are healthy then I guess that's OK? I kinda expected some explanations of my Xrays and hygiene.
I'll come here for cleanings though.
Nancy Y. is right on the money with this guy. I've been going to him for a few years now and he's been great. Always gives you at least two options, and explains what, why and how much. Also never does anything unnecessary. I first came here after I went to a different office and was told that I need 3 fillings and 1 crown. Dr. Vaysleyb only said 1 filling and nothing more. Saved me a bundle.
They also speak Russian.
5 stars for a dentist is super generous of me, but I must be in a 5 star kinda mood.
I'm 100% skittish about the dentist, just thinking about it makes my teeth ache but I came here and it was the quickest cleaning I have ever gotten AND they offered a numbing cream for my gums which is unheard of from my previous experiences at the dentist. I went really early so there was street parking but it's only 1 hour parking and I was there a tad over an hour. I got lucky and no ticket but there is parking around the corner from what I hear, I just don't know where... :)
I got the usual lecture about flossing but was presented with an alternative I never thought of before and so far, I'll keep going back. Everyone was super nice and tolerated me being 20 minutes late, (I'm ALWAYS late).
They take credit cards and guardian dental insurance! :)
The new dental hygenist is much better than the one before. Gentle and meticulous, she would be a good swiss watch maker. $70 for the cleaning.

Based on the great Yelp reviews, I called this office to try and make an appointment for my father. After explaining his situation (he needs a wisdom tooth extracted) to the woman who answered the phone, she was incredibly rude. She did not offer me any appointment times, or any service at all, instead she said, "And?" in a tone of voice that means, 'what do you want me to do about it?'
Here's what I want you to do: when I call to make an appointment, offer me your next available time. If you can't muster an attitude of caring and concern, then at least be polite. Drop the sarcasm when speaking to potential patients. This dental office gets a big thumbs down from me.
They are so sweet and gentle and really care about their patients. As a person who is TERRIFIED of the dentist, trust me on the one. They're gentle, sweet and considerate. They get down and dirty cleaning your teeth in the most pleasant way possible.
terrible service. I asked for simple filling and they put on veneers on three of my teeth and my teeth were perfectly fine and healthy. when i looked in the mirror i was shocked with what this doctor done to my teeth. i have horse teeth now. also the doctor did not consult with me that he will be putting veneers on my teeth. also i contact their office to ask him why he put vaneers on my teeth instead of simple fillings, so the receptionist left me a message that they will be refunding my money and that i should never come to their office again. now i have to find a way to remove these ugly vaneers. they are hungry for money. find a different dentist. rude staff, their service sucks.
Whoever says that he doesn't do unnecessary dental work is wrong, he is the BIGGEST SCAMMER IN THE WORLD OF DENTISTRY. He refused to give me my dental records when I requested them. He freakn ruined 2 of my frontal teeth and now I'm going to different dentists and they don't know how to remove them. what kind of dentist tells their clients not to come back???????????????????? and see another dentist when he fu**ed my teeth for no reason.
Maybe he is a veterinarian and not dentist?
It's been 2 years since my last dentist appt, which stopped because my new job doesn't offer dental insurance. I was a little scared of going to a new dentist without insurance for the first time, but thanks to Yelp, found this great place close to my work and home.
Ruby was my hygienist and she is really nice, experienced and gentle. My teeth are sensitive to which she was very attentive, and I am now a firm believer of that magical Lidocaine gel and will never have another cleaning without it! The cleaning was very professionally done and cost me $70. I also had no problems with the saliva suction tube or the x-ray film.
Dr. Vaysleyb came in for only a short time just to take a look at my x-rays which were fine, but I had a good impression from him.
Another minor detail was that there was initially some mixup about my appointment date/time (which could be completely my fault as I may have mistaken it) but they were kind enough to accommodate when I stopped by. Another plus!
I will definitely come back in 6 months!
Dr Vaysleyb and his staff are very nice cuddly folks who provide courteous service with as little pain as possible (even his hygienist is great) and his prices are very low ($60 cleaning, $450 or $600 crowns depending on type). However, as far as end results, you may get what you pay for.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleaning is only $60! They don't make you get unnecessary x-rays, etc. Just what you need or ask for. Dr. Vaysleyb is very friendly and down-to-earth.
I have an incredibly difficult time with dentists. I don't like them or their needles! But, if I had to have a dentist, Dr. Gregory is it! He is a sweet man who really cares about his patients. He never tries to "sell" you anything you don't need, and, in fact, will discourage having something done if it's not necessary. He was also really understanding when it came time to pull out my wisdom tooth and I was in panic mode! Although the experience was horrible, it was not because of Dr. V or his staff. They were just great.
The staff is all super friendly. The office is run very well - I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in to see the Dr, even when I've showed up early for my appointment! The prices are very reasonable. (As for Cyrus G., I'm not sure why he gave the poor review he did...I have actually gotten way more than I've paid for, including a free teeth cleaning!)
So, if you need a good dentist, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vaysleyb!
P.S. They thought it was really neat that I came in based off Yelp reviews (at the time, there were only 2 reviews up), and were really excited that Yelp was bringing them so much business.
Just went back for a cleaning over the weekend. I hadn't gotten my teeth cleaned for quite some time. They did a a great job and did not make me feel ashamed or embarrased at all. I really hate going to the dentist but Dr. Gregory makes it not so bad.

I came here for a routine dental exam and cleaning after reading Yelp reviews. Majority of what people have said regarding the friendliness of the staff and equipment technology are accurate. My experience didn't match my expectations based on the reviews, however. I hate biting down on that plastic X-ray film. I get my gums scratched up everytime. Not any different this time either. The technician who cleaned my teeth wasn't that gentle. The saliva sucking tube must've been set on turbo suck, because it almost sucked off flesh under my tongue. Well, not exactly, but it hurt like hell.
I have been a patient here for at least 14 years. I love this dentist. Through root canals and wisdom teeth and regular cleanings he has been the best. My whole family goes to him. He will also never recommend something if its not necessary.
My Los Angeles dentist!
Being the perfectionist that I am and not really liking opening my mouth wide for a stranger, I always thought that no one could compare to my dentist in Paris... that was until I met Dr. Gregory Vaysleyb today!
He is amazing: patient, honest, clear and so modest.
He gave me two options and explained what the difference would be. He told me that I should go with the cheaper one as what I needed wasn't dramatic and that it should be enough. I trusted him and am so glad that I did. When he was done he said, "It's not great but it's better. " When he showed me the result, I was in awe! That little imperfection that I hated was corrected and to me it was far better than great. It was a miracle!
He did wonders on my tooth. I wanted him to do the same work on the same tooth on the other side but he said that I should wait one week and see how I like it. One week for another miracle? No way! I have an appointment on Friday and cannot wait to see the result.
A great dentist that is very concerned about your satisfaction and not so much about how much of your money he is going to get.
The two assistants and the receptionist are great too and add to the pleasant experience.
