We really like our pediatrician!
When we were first looking for a doctor, we had no idea what to look for in a candidate. I did some research and seemed pretty happy with the doctors at Virginia Mason. I picked the one that seemed to come the most recommended by other parents and magazines. After a few initial visits, we weren't completely happy with that doctor and voiced some concerns.
Lucky for us, the doctors here understand that child care is a touchy field and have no problem trying to find the best doctor for your situation. We had our appointment with Dr. Berson and have never looked back.
Dr. Berson has a very calming bedside manner. He's very knowledgeable and has always been available whenever we needed him. He doesn't mind answering questions and giving his honest opinion but does support any decisions you make.
The Virginia Mason pediatric facility is beautiful too. They are secluded, which is really nice. A brand new remodel and layout. The staff there has been great too. We had a serious problem with one of the temps there early on but since then, we're never had another issue and have always had really kind reception and caring nurses.
Overall, he's a caring professional that you can trust in an emergency. A great doctor for children.
We have been seeing Dr. Berson since we moved here from Florida two years ago. Our 15 year old isn't real wild on the children's themed decor in the office, but likes Dr. Berson so he gets past it.
Dr. Berson is a really good pediatrician and has always been available pretty quickly when needed. I have always hated having a sick child and being given an appointment two or three days down the the road.
If you have kids, this is a solid doctor and VA Mason is a good place to be.
