1 review for Downtown Bicycle Rental
Tourists take note: when weather permits - which means only a short part of the year - you should definitely consider renting a bike if you happen to be in Anchorage, even for a short period of time.
The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is a scenic 11-mile paved path that begins in downtown and snakes along the coast past the airport and ultimately ends at Kincaid Park. Beautiful scenery can be had here and you'll find a moose or two as well. The city also has several other bike paths.
So rent a bike from this place. Prices are decent, $16 for three hours or $34 for the day, and is some of the best fun you can have in the Anchorage area. The friendly owner is a big Boston Red Sox fan who heads up a local fan club for the baseball team and even sells club t-shirts along with other cycling paraphernalia.
