Down to Earth Organic & Natural - Kapolei

This is my go to place for medicine, fruits, teas, & baked goods. They have senior Wednesday 65+, which I didn't know but I'm glad I asked cause they don't tell you! Place is clean wish it was bigger tho but it'll do in kapolei. Service good but don't come early if you need help in the medicine department cause no one is there until 2 cause I came in at 10 & no one was there, I asked for help but i got a guy that just didn't know where things were cause I think he works in the produce section. Sadly I left cause we both just couldn't find it, mind you I called the day before asking if they had the item & the lady said they did. Feeling disappointed

They have certainly expanded since I was in college! I used to go to the one near the university for dried fruit and nuts. They also have salad bar with hot food as well as refrigerated drinks such as kombucha and several aisles of packaged foods, such as tea and cereals. You can count on it being free from crowds and clean.

We purchased the premade 16 inch Mushroom Pizza and there are no instructions on how long to cook for.

I called the store and spoke to Bobbie from the Deli department and she had to ask the cook and let him know there are no instructions for us buyers.

He said it's 425 degrees for 10mins or till golden brown.

Just a a tip for anyone who purchases the premade boxed pizza.

I've been curious about Down to Earth and decided to see what kind of to go meals they offer.

I have had their Açaí bowls with fresh fruit and they are delicious. So I wanted to see what else I might enjoy.

I went during lunch and there were lots of people enjoying their hot meals. They look delicious and I wondered how healthy they were.

I decided on Exotic Curry Fried rice with cranberries Yummy.... There are so many hot dishes available and they smell delicious.

Can't wait to try something new.

Pretty decent for food service inside a grocery story. I added granola to my Makai bowl and it's definitely refreshing, but there wasn't much flavor. The bowl is really big so as I was finishing it, the more I eat, I just realized that the flavor... isn't there. Like I don't actually taste anything, the bowl just tastes cold. The bowl is very pretty but since it comes in a plastic bowl that you're holding, it melts really fast. I ate my sister's açaí bowl and I'm personally not a fan of this flavor in general since it's just the Jamba Juice banana berry, but it's honestly the best açaí flavor I had. Mostly because it's understated, but that becomes a problem it's a flavor that I actually like and want more of.

FYI, you must pay at the grocery checkout first and then pickup your order.

We stopped here to grab lunch before heading out to the nearby lagoons.

The market is very clean and had a tremendous amount of vegan food options.

We ordered at the counter. Salads were fresh and entrees were nice.

My daughter loved her tofu and rice.

Service was efficient and friendly.

This is a great market for vegans to get essentials while in Oahu.

This place is so awesome! I wish I knew about it sooner. In Seattle they have a market called PCC and I love it! I finally found my go to natural market. The deli is amazing here! They were really friendly. I just want to stay and try everything lol

Food and drink counter always hit pricey but fresh and simple. Need one TIP jar for the workers. They work hard and good service get on that management

The tofu salads on bar are good along with purple potato and seaweed salad. Get hawaiian tapioca for dessert.

Parking is super easy since it's located inside a huge plaza. After ordering at the kiosk, make sure to take the receipt to pay at the grocery line register in order to pick up your food!

- Warrior Bowl (without blueberries): Pretty good bowl with a delicious base. However, it did taste a bit watered down the more I ate it. The fruits were super sweet though! 3.5/5.

- Makai Bowl: Similarly, the flavor was slightly lacking as it melted down--not the best blue spirulina base we've tried, but also not the worst. But again, the fruits were really sweet! 3/5.

- One of the fish burgers (I forget the name): My mom really liked the burger. However, the fish tasted more like chicken. It was still really good, but for what it should have been, 4/5.
