I picked up my down comforters and pillows yesterday and I am so happy with the end result. The new pillows have loft and are really fluffy, and the comforters have perfect weights. My king sized comforter fit perfectly into my store bought duvet and is already on my bed.
The ticking is really really tightly woven so I can't imagine ever seeing a feather poke through...important to me to keep dust down. Every item has a handwritten tag sewn into it that it was made "with love by Elizabeth...", a very special touch!
One thing to note, if you want a specific ticking you'll need to order before you have her get started. She has a single ticking available to her right now so if you require something specific you'll need to hunt down the fabric first.
In a day where we're all trying to be green and eco-friendly, recycling your old down products is just one more step that everyone can do. And I'm sure the ducks and geese will thank you, too. Even your old ticking can be recycled as textiles...so take it home, bag it up, and recycle that, too!1 Previous Review: Show all »
