This cozy little Irish pub in Mount Vernon is one of my favorite places for conversation with friends, especially because you and your friend can buy a couple of pitchers and get right drunk for a relatively low amount of money. The food is basic pub fare, but not bad, and the music is generally enjoyable, although occasionally entirely too loud. Insider tip: Don't ask the bartender to make you an Irish Car Bomb. He HATES that.
