5 reviews for Doubletree O'Hare Rosemont
I really like this hotel. We try and stay here for the Wizard World convention every year. The rooms are a decent size, and the bathrooms are nice. The staff has been pretty awesome, and we've never really had a problem here.
Room service is always pretty good, and the conciere is always willing to help us with something.
Mm.. I think they make those cookies with crack. So good!
What was notable about this hotel for me was that the room layout was SO BAD that I had to lay all the way on the far side of the bed (actually a little off it) to see the tv in bed. For a girl who falls asleep every night with the tv on, this was not good.
The gym room was a yikes. There was one bike, one elliptical and two treadmills. Um, am I at a Doubletree?
I was here for a business meeting and the conference staff had failed to set up for the number requested. Nothing better than spending the first 30 minutes of a meeting moving around a small room while the staff tries to squeeze in four more chairs and another table.
While the hotel gets points for being connected to Gibson's, I might not be inclined to stay here again. That said, it was clean and the staff was responsive to everything we needed including the last minute room changes. It's close to O'Hare and the Convention Center.

I was here for work - no other reason to come here - and it was generally fine. The food during the meetings was good, but my room had problems. There was a door separating my room from my neighbors and I could hear even the softest of conversations. There was also something rattling all night in the wall behind my bed. I was glad they had a pool but it was too small for laps.
I've been coming here every year at the end of January for a business meeting for the past seven years. The hotel has spruced up quite a bit, and having one of the best steakhouses in Chicagoland right within does not seem to hurt either.
Can't complain about the deliciously warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in either!
The Doubletree is another fine hotel right across form the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, not far from O'Hare Airport. They are noted for the free cookie when you check in, so don't forget the cookie. You will probably remember the comfy room more than the bland cream-colored exteriors of the hotel.
