Was in Memphis for Business and stayed at this Double Tree. Overall this Double Tree is a nice and well kept up hotel. Parking can be a little tight but there is enough here that you shouldn't have problems finding a spot. One of the nice things about this Double Tree is that there are several places to eat at that are within walking distance if you decide to pass on Cal's Championship Steakhouse that is part of the hotel.
The place is kept up nicely. Everything seemed like it was clean and in good condition. Some of the extra's they have here is a nice business center (about 3 computers, 1 laser printer, & fax), several conference rooms, an indoor pool that look nice, and a gym (though the gym was out of order during my time here but I give them credit for converting 2 rooms into a mini gym). They also offer Free WiFi and Cable TV with HBO.
I had to stay here a couple of times so I got 2 different rooms. I was able to book one of the business rooms that came with a King Size Bed, a Desk Working Area, a mini Frig, and decent size bathroom. Both the sink and the shower were in the same room and the mini frig had it's own little counter complete with a coffee machine.
The bed was comfortable and the pillows was nice. Service here was friendly and I have to say, those chocolate chip cookies they give you are great.
Overall I would stay here again. I paid about $99 but the taxes here are pretty steep because you got a room tax, sales tax, and a county tax on top of that, so expect to pay about another 15% on top of everything. But overall, it was a good stay and would recommend staying here.
