We stayed here for one night and ther service was excellent!
We were greeted by friendly people, my online reservation was ready, it was near the Bradley Airport on a the Grasso turnpike that is loaded with things to do.
They gave us WARM chocolate chip cookies, I ate my boyfriends too...like I told him I was going to...it was my birthday, I eat boyfriends cookie, its a rule.
The california king bed was to DIE for! A Sweet Dreams luxury item and I zonked out the second I laid down. We tried to rent a movie and we had some complications so I called Sarah and Jacob at the front desk and they rented the movie FOR us from the front desk!
The breakfast was a little obsurd. $20 for bacon, egg and toast seemed a lil steep, but there was a dunkies right across the street. They also have a pool and gym! Complimentary for guests.
We only spent about $115 after taxes, but it was soooo worth it.
We are talking about just spending the night at the Double Tree near our house, just to sleep in that bed again!

Ok, this hotel is definitely not worthy of 5 stars.
I just checked my Hilton honors account and I see that in the last year I have spent over 30 nights in the this hotel.
Was it my choice? No. I was coming out for training seminars and my company would handle my arrangements.
Were there any issues? No, this is pretty standard fare. The rooms are on the small side, probably the smallest Double Tree rooms I have ever been in.
Every Double Tree I have ever been to gives me cookies when I check in and has good beds, so nothing noteworthy there.
The staff @ the Double Tree is accommodating though. When I had fears of my flight being canceled, they had no problem reserving the last room in the hotel for me. It turns out my flight was canceled and the room was much nicer than a bench at the airport.
Given the choice, I would stay across the street @ the Homewood Suites. Larger rooms, about the same price, free drinks everyday.
I guess that is why I only rate it 3 stars. IT is A-OK. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible.
