Beautiful Doubletree.  Would be great for reception or meeting site.  Rooms are nicely furnished and in pretty good shape.  All ground floor rooms so nice door onto grass/common area.

Warning:  Walls are paperthin if you're a light sleeper.

Warm chocolate oatmeal cookies, from a warmer drawer- this is what came with that staff smile at check-in. Warm cookies. Brilliant!

The hotel was very clean, a bit of a labyrinth (which created some privacy and distance between the hotel guests), and met every need. We were there for a wedding, and only stayed one night but made the most of it. The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the wedding. Afterward, the hotel bar has 4$ drafts, and we took a pleasant jaunt in the spa-like pool. I wouldn't suggest the hotel food, which is so-so and pricey- but there's a diner across the street that will get you through the hunger (especially for breakfast).

The little bottles in the bathroom are all neutrogena, so you actually feel clean with hotel soaps. Bonus.

Only draw backs: can't stay drinking on the patio past ten, and the maid-service wakes you up at 9 by knocking on all the doors to get everyone out way before the noon check-out. That felt a little rushed.

But nice staff, and did I mention the cookies? straight to my heart.
